Through your proven Dynamics 365 CRM skills and experience, you will also lead on the charity’s CRM business processes and data quality, collaborating with fundraising, communications, IT and finance stakeholders, colleagues and third-party suppliers.

About Finance at Hope into Action 

The finance function of Hope into Action is small team comprising the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrators (job-share) and a volunteer reporting to the Head of Operations. It is largely paperless and supports our 44 staff with accounts payable and receivable functions. It works in conjunction with the other departments to deliver timely, accurate and strategic financial information for both the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees.

About the role 

The Finance Manager is a key role in enabling Hope into Action fulfil its vision of every church lovingly making a home for those experiencing homelessness.

The role is broad ranging; from managing the Finance Administrators, supporting their work when needed and also producing the monthly management accounts within our target of 10 working days from the month end.

In addition, you will support the year end work by producing the schedules required by auditors, take a lead in the annual budgeting process, produce the biannual investor statements and compile the Gift Aid returns. 

You will be expected to meet regularly with budget holders to help them achieve their targets and/or devise a plan to bring them back on track.

The role

We’re seeking an Individual Giving and Legacy Officer to join our growing Individual Giving and Legacy team! 

This is a brand-new role, and you will have the chance to develop your knowledge across both areas of fundraising. In this role, you’ll deliver multi-channel campaigns that recruit supporters and you will develop our stewardship journeys, so supporters have a great experience.

This is an exciting time to join Pancreatic Cancer UK as we have an ambitious 5-year strategy to double our income and double survival rates, and this role is integral to that.

We’re working towards a world where everyone with pancreatic cancer lives long and well, but we can’t do it alone. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering legacy campaigns across email, print and social media to acquire new legacy supporters.
• Delivering individual giving campaigns across regular giving, in memory, lottery, cash and our online shop.
• Developing and optimising stewardship journeys across digital, print and phone.

• You will have worked in a fundraising role and have an understanding of Individual Giving and/or Legacies

Job Title: Trainee or Qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) with an interest in working with children and young people (aged 16 - 25) who are at high risk of serious harm from domestic abuse

Context of post

Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse is a company and charity set up to:

• provide inclusive services that reduce the risk of domestic abuse and promote the safety, choices and welfare of those affected
• enhance awareness of the nature and prevalence of domestic violence and help to foster good practice and an integrated multi integrated approach.
• This post holder will be in the high-risk team and be managed by the Service Manager with support from the Senior IDVA.
• A structured training and induction programme is in place to ensure new staff members are knowledgeable, confident and comfortable with the role.
• After 6 months of experience, the applicant will attend the Safelives IDVA training.
• Workload will be adjusted and study time will be given for attendance at training.
• Salary will be uplifted on successful completion of the course.

Function

The first priority of the charity is to provide an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service for the county. The post holder will be a member of the IDVA team and provide a pro-active service to victims of domestic violence to keep them safe and promote their wellbeing. They will use their skills to assess the risk a client is in, deliver a service appropriate to the level of risk and have a particular focus on providing an intensive service to those at high risk. The post holder will have the skills to act as lead professional, working to ensure an integrated service and co-ordinating multi agency work to keep people safe, in addition to working with victims and signposting to other services.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Oxfordshire IDVA team to provide pro-active service and advice to victims at high risk of harm from domestic abuse to keep them and their children safe
• Risk assess and deliver service in keeping with the result
• Undertake safety planning with clients
• Develop individual service plans to meet the specific risks clients face
• Where relevant also support victims in their role as primary carers for their children
• Manage a caseload
• Maintain and update records of all cases
• Keep other relevant services informed about important changes in client’s situation
• Support clients through the criminal justice system, explaining the procedures and their role and rights within that system
• Ensure that clients are immediately informed of any CJS developments and advised on any aspect affecting their safety
• Explain housing, civil and criminal legal options to clients
• Ensure that clients access the services to which they are entitled
• Refer on and arrange meetings with other agencies/services as necessary e.g. solicitors, benefit agencies, etc.
• Note and feedback to other agencies any consistent difficulties clients are having accessing their service
• Help clients develop their own support network
• Follow procedures and protocols so that the safety of the clients is kept central to any process
• Ensure Reducing the Risk fulfils its responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children
• Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children, and the policy and procedures of Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children’s Board – including specific guidelines applied to the voluntary sector
• Participate in supervision and support systems for the service, and in training and professional development
• Bring casework issues and regular difficulties clients are having to the attention of the manager; contribute to efforts to improve Reducing the Risk practice and procedures and/or to work through multi agency partnerships to improve multi agency practice
• Any additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by the manager or trustees

The nature of this post will require flexibility to meet work needs as they arise. This may occassionally entail some work outside normal office hours. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to their duties. These may have to be varied after discussion, subject to the needs of the service and in keeping with the general profile of the post. About the role

As Senior Caseworker, you will provide first and second-tier specialist advice and casework support on a range of welfare benefits issues. You will manage a caseload of complex cases and will take cases to the First-tier Tribunal. Issues we commonly advise on include PIP, LCWRA and Universal Credit.

Youth Participation Officer

Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!

The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors. 

For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period.  Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. This post will be part of the delivery team overseeing self-directed community action projects. The post holder may also support drop-in sessions and other activities aimed at engaging young people and referring them onto the youth-led community action programme.

Elders Voice is a charity supporting older people in the London Borough of Brent. Our mission is to enable older people to live safely and independently in the homes of their choosing and lead happier and healthier lives. The service aims to prevent accidents in the home and enable older people to live safely by carrying out basic repairs and improvements, and the installation of small equipment such as grab rails, which support mobility. We are looking for a Handyperson Service Coordinator to oversee the Handyperson Service and be responsible for all aspects of facilities management at our premises in Kensal Green.

Overview of role:

Handyperson Service

• Undertake all administrative tasks relating to the effective and efficient running of the Handyperson Service with meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
• Coordinate the handy team and provide supervision and support.
• Promote service within borough and maintain relationships with Brent Adult Social Care, healthcare bodies and other statutory & voluntary sector organisations.
• Work with CEO in developing and expanding service.

Facilities Management

• Oversee all contracts related to Health & Safety and building maintenance.
• Carry out inspection of premises and flag areas requiring maintenance and repair.
• Ensure premises meets government regulations, health & safety standards and energy efficiency requirements.

Partnerships Officer

Salary range: £25,000-£28,000

The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for two Development Officers to help us present this unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, which brings some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world. 

We are seeking two relationship-driven and detail-oriented people to join our Development team as our new Philanthropy and Partnerships Officers.

The Partnerships Officer will join a team responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate, international, and strategic partners. You will support the delivery of high-quality partnership management across all stages—from proposal development and reporting to stewardship and event coordination. You’ll also take ownership of a portfolio of entry-level partners and can build your skills through hands-on experience.

We are also looking to recruit a Philanthropy Officer who will deliver and grow the Festival’s successful membership schemes, nurture supporter relationships, deliver engaging fundraising events and strategic donor communications, and design and implement creative and revenue-generating appeals and  initiatives. With support from the Individual Giving Manager, you will work collaboratively across the Development team in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and creativity, as well as excellent time-management, communication and administrative skills.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships team work closely together to maintain and expand our supporter base. We are looking for people who share our passion for the arts and commitment to excellent service to continue to grow Festival’s reach and impact.

BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has the opportunity to access creative reflective spaces to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.

We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. Currently 60 schools a year have prayer and reflection spaces. Now, we’re building on this momentum to reach over 115 schools in the next three years and are preparing to grow nationally with developing contemplative retreats for schools.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Inspire and equip churches to run prayer and reflection spaces in schools
• Pilot school retreats and embed contemplative practices into school engagement
• Recruit and coach volunteer area networkers to grow local networks of volunteers
• Gather stories and evidence of impact, ensuring quality and consistency
• Help position Oxfordshire as a model in developing contemplative retreats nationally. 

You will work closely with our CEO and Operations Coordinator, playing a vital part in both local transformation and BeSpace’s journey towards national growth.

Battersea has recently approved a new 5-year organisational strategy to deliver an even greater impact for dogs and cats through our Prevent, Support and Care activity.
