This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Fundraising and Development team on a fixed-term basis.
The Head of Corporate Partnerships (Maternity Cover) will work alongside the Strategic Director of Fundraising and Development to lead and further develop the strategic plan for corporate fundraising at the Playhouse. Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.
The role
As Drive Service Manager, you will lead the delivery and development of the DRIVE service working with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. You'll manage and support a team of frontline practitioners, ensuring the service is safe, effective and delivers meaningful behaviour change while prioritising victim safety. Working closely with commissioners, statutory partners and the wider Drive Partnership, you'll champion a collaborative, multi-agency approach, oversee service performance, and help shape the operational and strategic direction of the programme locally.
About you
You'll have experience of managing teams within domestic abuse, criminal justice, safeguarding or a related field, with a strong understanding of working with high-risk individuals and managing complex risk. You'll be confident leading staff, providing effective supervision, and ensuring services are delivered safely, consistently and to a high standard.
You'll have experience of working in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies, building effective relationships and contributing to multi-agency responses. Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to balance operational demands with strategic priorities are essential. You'll also be comfortable analysing performance information, producing reports and using data to drive service improvement.

This role will work collaboratively within Manchester City Council's multi-disciplinary Thriving Families Team to support adult victims/survivors of domestic abuse within families where there are safeguarding concerns. The Domestic Abuse Support Worker will provide trauma-informed, strengths based and needs led support to help victims/survivors increase safety, reduce risk and improve their emotional wellbeing. About you

This will include completing comprehensive risk and needs assessments to develop tailored safety and support plans, alongside providing practical and emotional support that promotes recovery, resilience and increased safety.
You'll have experience of working in a trauma-informed way with individuals experiencing domestic abuse and be confident in providing advocacy, psychoeducation and support around the impact of domestic abuse on adults, children and parenting. You'll have experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.
