About the role
Over the coming year, The Drive Partnership is looking to review, update, and design new training to offer to The Drive Project workforce. To lead this work, we are recruiting a Drive training team made up of a Training Manager, Training Lead and Training Coordinator.

About the Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Housing IDVA for Solace co-located in Waltham Forest Housing Department. As the Senior Housing IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse attending housing including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as the housing lead for Solace in Waltham Forest, providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and Waltham Forest housing professionals.
The Senior Housing IDVA will also hold line management responsibility. The Senior Housing IDVA will hold a caseload of cases with complex housing issues for short-term support.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.
About You
We are seeking highly organised, self-driven individuals who are passionate about ending violence against women and girls (VAWG) and homelessness. Applicants should have a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to Solace’s feminist approach in supporting women and their children toward safety. Training and support will be provided as needed for this role.
We are seeking candidates with a deep understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience providing both emotional and practical support to survivors of violence against women and girls (VAWG). A thorough knowledge of housing options and associated legislation is essential. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in VAWG or be willing to undertake accredited training. Previous experience in supervising staff or volunteers is also required.

Role - Zero Hours Children's Resource Worker

TACT South West are looking for a children's resource worker to collaborate with them to support foster children and carers within Bude and Torquay. The ideal Children's Resource Worker will already have some experience in engagement and participation with vulnerable young people, care experienced children or have similar experience in child-facing settings. Experience of working with young people who are neurodiverse would be beneficial. Activities would include completing one-one work with young people aged between 10-17 with life skills, healthy relationships, taking to activities, completing emotional literacy work. The Role
As CEO, you’ll be the strategic lead for the charity with some operational oversight too. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, oversee a small but high-performing team, and serve as the face of the organisation for key funders, partners, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
● Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term plans aligned with our mission.
● Fundraising & Income Generation: Drive major donor pitches, manage key sponsor relationships, and grow revenue through campaigns and events.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with charitable partners, corporate partners, government departments, national sports bodies, local authorities, and disability groups.
● Marketing & Communications: Oversee PR strategy, digital presence, and communications.
● Governance & Operations: Ensure regulatory compliance, oversee HR and finance, and maintain a strong organisational infrastructure.

We’re looking for a proven leader with a strong track record of strategic leadership and income generation, ideally in the charity, education, or sports sectors. You’ll combine hands-on management experience with the ability to inspire funders, partners, and stakeholders alike.

About the role
The Policy & Research Team of Amnesty International UK is our team of thematic experts, you'll be joining us to provide policy development and research expertise for our human rights priorities and legislative work.
The Tech and Human Rights Lead will support and grow our knowledge and expertise on data and AI; particularly on automated algorithmic systems in policing and other public services, their role in the spread of mis- and dis-information on social media, and the UK and global legal and regulatory framework.
As part of this role, you'll be contributing to and delivering research and advocacy projects in line with our theory of change and organisational plan. The day to day of this role is being our tech and human rights policy expert internally and externally, acting as a spokesperson on tech and human rights and working in partnership in coalitions and networks with other NGOs, academics and grassroots activists with lived experience towards shared goals.
Human rights and legal frameworks are constantly playing catch up with the pace of emerging tech. You will be at the forefront of this, working with colleagues in the UK and internationally to ensure technology enables the protection of human rights and an equitable society.

About the role
The UK government’s resettlement programmes (such as the UKRS, ARAP as well as other UK Resettlement Schemes) support refugees who are selected and processed in the region of origin and brought to the UK with their status already determined. Under this scheme, a specific quota of refugees will be coming to the UK for resettlement.
The Refugee Council resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them adjust to live in the UK, access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services, the Refugee Council resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group. This post will work with refugees at different stages of the resettlement programme including those who have newly arrived and others who have lived in the UK for up to 5 years.
The Refugee Council has agreed to work in partnership with Migration Yorkshire and Local Authorities across Yorkshire and Humberside to deliver the regional programme. The post holder will be working from the Leeds office covering Wakefield, York and North Yorkshire and will report to the Area Managers.
Contract: Fixed term until March 2026.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide a safe and welcoming environment for refugees ensuring that standards are maintained, monitored and that the service meets all statutory and contractual requirements.
- To provide advice and support in line with individual client support plans in relation to accessing statutory, voluntary and mainstream services. This includes education (schools and colleges), welfare benefits, housing and health services.
- To assist refugees who may be in a confused or distressed state in understanding systems in the UK and become familiar with their local environment.

Job Summary

Main Responsibilities:
Leadership
1. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team and wider Senior Leadership Team, work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for the strategic management and leadership of the organisation.
2. Work closely with the CEO, Treasurer and Board of Trustees to facilitate good governance and risk management.
3. Manage, maintain and develop all financial systems and control; increasing their impact and quality, and implementing best practices in financial management.
4. To supervise finance assistants and ensure that they are adhering to financial code of practices.
Financial Management
1. Lead and manage all aspects of the financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset management, reserves & designated fund management and financial reporting.
2. Work with HR & Payroll Officer to manage and retain oversight of the day to day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general ledger maintenance, including the reconciliation of petty cash, credit cards and all bank accounts on a monthly basis reviewing and approving payment runs and payroll.
3. Work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to prepare the annual budgets and forecasts.
4. Lead and manage the provision of regular budget monitoring and reports to budget holders.
5. Assist with the budget preparation for funding bids. Manage, monitor and keep track of any grants, funding or commissioned income, working with relevant managers to provide relevant financial information for inclusion in monitoring reports.
6. Lead and manage the provision of quarterly financial reports to the Board and advise them on financial issues as appropriate
7. Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to inform and support organisational management, development and decision[1]making, and funding applications across the organisation.
8. Work with the CEO to prepare medium term financial forecasts for the organisation to support strategic decision-making and delivery of strategic priorities.
9. Lead on the audit process and the preparation of year end accounts to trial balance including preparation of the audit file and the closing down of the accounts on our accounting management system to ensure that the organisation is compliant with legal requirements and good practice.
10. To work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and designated Trustees to advise, review and cost the annual pay award.
11. To provide back-up and holiday cover for the processing of monthly payroll.
12. To work with and support the HR & Payroll Officer in providing payroll information and reconciling payroll monthly.
Governance and compliance
1. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. Companies House, HMRC and the Charity Commission).
2. Attend Trustee Board meetings to report on financial matters, including the identification and management of financial risk, and provide any relevant reports.
3. To support the Trustees, SLT and line managers in managing our finances carefully and within our financial means, through provision of advice, guidance, support and training.
4. To be the main point of contact with external auditors.
5. To ensure that robust financial controls are in place, underpinned by appropriate financial policies and procedures and to ensure that they are adhered to and that the organisation is protected from fraud and error.
