As a Project Worker, you’ll play a leading role in helping clients understand and manage their emotional and mental health needs, while developing the confidence and skills to live independently. Through meaningful one-to-one work, you’ll carry out detailed needs and risk assessments, identify achievable short-term goals, and help clients strengthen relationships, expand social networks and access training, education or employment. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join us as Energy Advisors to help deliver the vital Home Energy Scotland advice service in the Highlands and Islands. You’ll be the first point of call for householders who need free and impartial advice about how they can lower their bills and reduce their environmental impact. You will have experience engaging with customers and your excellent communication skills will help you support householders and relay technical information to a non-technical audience.

Home Energy Scotland is a free, impartial advice service funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. Changeworks has been involved in delivering the service for 17 years, and currently manages advice centres in the Highlands and Islands and South East of Scotland.

We provide high quality advice and information on topics including energy efficiency in the home, renewable technologies and saving water. We also support many people who are living in fuel poverty and refer householders to grants and funding to keep their homes warmer for less. The ideal candidate and the role​

We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and confident communicating with a wide range of customers. As an Energy Advisor, you'll provide high-quality, personalised advice that helps customers understand their options, take action and make positive changes to their energy use.​

You will join a supportive team of customer-focused advisors in a fast-paced environment. The role involves handling inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to existing customers. An interest in energy, sustainability or the environment would be an advantage, but it isn't essential as full training will be provided. You will require good IT skills and have a stable internet connection.​

As the Home Energy Scotland Highlands & Islands Advice Centre, we support customers across Argyll & Bute, Highland, Na h-Eileanan Siar (Western Isles), Orkney and Shetland. To be eligible for this role, you must live within one of these local authority areas.

About the role:

As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Alongside nurturing existing supporters, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of donors and driving forward this new area of income generation within the team. Working collaboratively across SHP, you will connect philanthropists with our services in a way that feels personal, impactful and rooted in the realities of our work, while contributing to the wider fundraising targets that enable us to keep delivering life changing support.

Hybrid working for us means a mix of in office working in Kings Cross and home working. Currently two days in the office (usually Wednesday and Friday) with the rest from home.

• You have experience building relationships with donors, supporters or partners, and know how to turn those relationships into meaningful income or long term support.

About the role

As Grants Engagement Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Trust, ensuring that grants are effectively managed from initial contact through to award and evaluation. You will work closely with Trustees, preparing papers for meetings, providing updates, and supporting informed decision-making. A key part of the role will involve building and nurturing relationships with a wide range of partners, from community groups to charities and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted and supportive point of contact.

You will take a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, researching potential partners and developing a strong pipeline of projects aligned to the Trust’s priorities. Through early conversations and ongoing collaboration, you will help shape ideas into deliverable projects, offering guidance and working in partnership to co-design initiatives that can deliver meaningful impact. You will also maintain contact with funded projects, to ensure they are supported and to measure and report on outcomes, helping to build a clear picture of the Trust’s impact and ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Alongside this, you will play a central role in ensuring the Trust operates to a high standard of governance and best practice. This includes keeping processes under review, supporting due diligence and risk management, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the evolving grant-making landscape. You will also contribute to raising the profile of the Trust, both within the wider organisation and in local communities, acting as an ambassador for its work alongside trustees.

Hours

This is a permanent, part-time role working 2 days per week. We offer flexibility in how these hours are worked to support a positive work–life balance; however, there will be a need to align working days with key Trust activities, including trustee meetings and stakeholder engagement.

Occasional evening and weekend work will be required, for example to attend community events or meetings.

Given the nature of the role, some flexibility around working patterns and availability will be important, along with a willingness to travel within Derbyshire and occasionally further afield as required.

About you

We are looking for someone who combines strong organisational skills with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. You will be comfortable working with a wide range of people, able to interpret complex information including financial details, and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Experience in grant-making, philanthropy, or a related field is important, alongside an understanding of charity governance and a genuine interest in supporting communities to thrive.

Knowledge of the Derbyshire landscape and its opportunities and challenges would be particularly valuable.

This role would suit a proactive and thoughtful individual who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, brings creativity and curiosity to their work, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow a charity’s impact.

Re-Instate’s Early Intervention Employment Service supports local people struggling with their mental health at the earliest possible stage through a range of employment related services. In addition, we are looking to deliver a range of training workshops to support clients of the service and local organisations.

The post holder will:

• Be responsible for managing, monitoring, delivering and evaluating employment activities to ensure that contract outcome targets are met.
• Support the implementation of organisational initiatives of Re-Instate.
• Take an active role in the delivery, management, monitoring and evaluation of any initiatives developed as part of the Early Intervention Service.
• Support clients to retain paid and voluntary work through employer engagement.
• Provide information to assist in strategic decision making.
• Represent Re-Instate within the London borough of Bexley.
• Work with the Training and Outreach Co-ordinator to promote the Early Intervention Service.

The post-holder will need project development experience and a working, knowledge of models of supported employment. They will be an effective networker, able to develop and sustain partnerships with a range of stakeholders.

 Key Activities:

• Promote and deliver the vision for the Early Intervention Service that supports sustainable recovery for people experiencing mental ill health, including job retention, job searching, preparation for work and signposting.
• Lead, supervise and support the Early Intervention team through regular supervision, appraisals and performance reviews.
• Manage a caseload of clients, supporting people experiencing mental ill health to meet their work goals.
• Manage workshops, as well as individual and group sessions, to support clients in their job search. Provide expert guidance on crafting compelling CVs, completing job applications, mastering interview strategies, and enhancing overall job-seeking effectiveness.
• Generate and establish new bespoke sector specific or employer specific pathways.
• Maintain and develop excellent communication with all key contacts including colleagues, commissioners and partner providers of specialist and non-specialist services, Service User and Carer Groups.
• As part of job retention, consider reasonable adjustments and support services for clients with disabilities or other barriers to employment, ensuring their successful integration into the workplace.
• Monitor and report on the employment status of client to effectively measure the impact of the service.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with the Early Intervention team to adherence of quality standards.
• Conduct supervision, appraisals and monitor individual objectives in line with Re-Instate policy and practice.

The Green House is looking for an ambitious and passionate Interim Senior Fundraising & Communications Lead to join us at an exciting point in our journey. Initially offered as a six-month contract, this role will take the lead on income generation and shape the future of our fundraising landscape during a period of organisational development and review.

You will play a crucial role in delivering the charity’s ambitious fundraising strategy, driving its successful implementation and helping to shape the future of our income generation. Working across trusts and foundations, statutory funding, Major Giving and wider fundraising opportunities you will identify, develop and secure sustainable income that enables our services to grow and thrive.

 As Interim Senior Fundraising & Communications Lead you will enjoy writing exceptional quality bids, with the ability to understand and present complex information and data in a wide range of formats to funders with very different needs. This includes one-page summaries to lengthy (20,000+ word) bids, working with local funders as well asthose interested in the national picture.

Across all activities, you’ll lead on building strong relationships with funders and partners, proactively identifying new opportunities to diversify income. Working alongside the CEO and widerteam, you’ll use your experience, expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking to maximise fundraising potential and help ensure the charity can continue making a lasting difference to the communities we serve. 

Alongside this you will lead on delivering our communications strategy creating engaging and impactful content across digital channels. You’ll help strengthen our brand, raise awareness of our work and bring our impact to life through compelling storytelling that inspires supporters, funders and communities. 

Our client is a Surrey-based charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse through refuge accommodation, advocacy and specialist support services. They help women and children rebuild their lives and move towards a future free from abuse. They are now looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to play a key role in securing the income needed to sustain and grow their impact.

Reporting to the CEO, the Fundraising Manager will lead and develop fundraising across the organisation. While trusts and foundations fundraising will be a key focus, the role also offers the opportunity to grow income from corporates, community fundraising, individual giving and other sources. You'll build relationships with supporters and funders, develop compelling funding applications and propositions, line manage the Community Fundraiser, and help shape the future direction of fundraising at the organisation.

This role will suit a proactive and relationship-focused fundraiser with a strong track record of securing trust and foundation funding. You will be an excellent communicator, confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders, and comfortable working both strategically and hands-on. Broader fundraising experience across areas such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraising or events would be an advantage, alongside a genuine passion for supporting survivors of domestic abuse.

As Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional supporter care by creating positive and meaningful experiences for everyone who donates to or fundraises on behalf of the charity, ensuring they feel valued, appreciated and connected to the mission. Job Description

As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.

This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.

Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Through an audience-focused, data-informed approach, you'll promote our visitor centres in Cambridge and Wisbech, increasing footfall while creating compelling content that inspires families, schools, funders and corporate partners.

Essential Criteria

● Experience: At least 2–3 years working in a marketing, communications, or digital content role with responsibility for advertising campaigns

● Social Media: Hands-on experience managing social media channels with a focus on authentic, human-centric engagement
