We are looking for an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to support and empower adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
They will offer practical and emotional support and advice to survivors, helping them to understand and access their rights and any other services they might require. They will also help keep service users safe and support them through the criminal justice system, should they choose to report, which includes liaising with the police and other criminal justice agencies and keeping survivors informed of case progress.
This post is part of a countywide ISVA team providing a pro-active service to children, young people and adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse, within and outside of the criminal justice system.

Records Manager & Archivist
The duties within this unique role will be shared across the main London offices of the Methodist Church in Britain and United Reformed Church. The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced records and archives management professional, who is confident to work across our different sites and systems. You will be a knowledgeable manager of analogue and digital records and archives. Some familiarity with Church structures and record keeping would be an advantage.
You will need to be able to advise the staff teams for both Churches on records management strategy and practice and support them in the implementation of electronic records management systems (ERMS). You will also be able to undertake collections management tasks such as appraisal, condition assessments, basic cleaning and re-packaging and cataloguing.
You will need to be able to liaise effectively with the archive services where our collections are deposited, and work with our voluntary heritage committees and archival advisers. You will be encouraged to appoint and manage volunteers to build capacity around this work.
The Methodist Church has records from the early 18th century onwards. Its governance records (estimated at c4m items) are deposited in the John Rylands Research Institute & Library, University of Manchester, and its missionary collections in the SOAS Library, University of London. Records of the Church at a local level are deposited with local authority archive services. There are also five ‘community archives’ managed by volunteer editors.
The United Reformed Church was established in 1972, with its roots in the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches. The search for a new location for the centralised deposit and permanent preservation of URC records is a key objective for this post-holder, along with developing and supporting the management of current administrative records.
Both organisations maintain offsite record storage and occasional travel to them will be a necessary part of this role.

The key duties of the Financial Controller will be as follows:
- Lead on the preparation of year-end financial reporting across the group
- Support the preparation of Depaul UK Trustees report and lead on the annual statutory audit process
- Develop and maintain a full set of financial policies and procedures which support the charity to deliver its aims
- Review and streamline controls and processes, including greater automation/ integration with other business systems
- Act as a finance subject matter expert, providing accounting advice to the team and wider organisation

The successful candidate will have:
- A full, recognised accounting qualification, or be in the final stages
- Ideally, a background working in the charity or social housing sectors, but this is by no means essential
- Demonstrable experience working in a strong internal control environment and driving effective month and/or year-end routines
- The ability to lead and develop a high performing team
- Excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to work within a cross-functional Leadership Team to continuously improve the service

About the Role
We are looking for an HR Wellbeing Case Worker who is experienced in dealing with challenging and quite emotive case work. The Wellbeing team is a small team that sits within the HR function and deal solely with the wellbeing of ministers and staff. This very busy team engages with people who can be going through a number of life challenges and need support in being able to return or remain in work in order to flourish.
We are looking to increase capacity within the Wellbeing team to undertake a breadth of responsibilities including standard and complex cases. You will play a vital role in managing the high volume of wellbeing cases with professionalism, empathy, and integrity ensuring that all cases are handled in a timely manner, with sensitivity, fairness, and in alignment with both employment law and our Christian ethos.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine professional HR expertise with a clear understanding of wellbeing within a holistic context.

The Role
As second-in-command to the Chief Finance Officer, the Financial Controller will oversee the collection, consolidation and analysis of financial data across UKROEd and The Road Safety Trust. This is a broad and hands-on leadership role, central to maintaining strong financial governance, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, and safeguarding organisational assets.
You will lead the financial control environment, oversee key financial processes including payroll, procurement, budgeting and reporting, and drive continuous improvement in how financial information is produced, interpreted and used. As a trusted partner to senior leaders and trustees, you will support informed decision-making by providing accurate, timely and high-quality financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee financial operations, controls and compliance across both organisations
· Produce management accounts, financial reports and statutory returns
· Lead payroll, pensions, procurement and the purchase-to-pay cycle
· Manage assets, liabilities and financial risk registers
· Support budgeting, forecasting and financial strategy delivery
· Liaise with auditors, bankers, insurers and advisers

About You
We are seeking a highly capable finance professional with strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving financial governance. You will bring the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, the experience to manage complex financial operations, and the integrity to uphold the highest standards of financial stewardship.
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- At least 5 years’ experience managing financial operations.
- Hold a ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a Financial Controller.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of tax codes, laws and statutory reporting.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and writing high-quality reports.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised, accurate and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to undertake NPPV Level 3 vetting.
Desirable:
- Experience in policing, local authority or charity sector finance.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting systems.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
Based within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, the IDVA team works within a multi-agency system to provide a trauma responsive, person centered independent service for victims of domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making. You will hold a case load of high-risk victims, working proactively to support them and their families.
FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality service to those at the highest risk.
- To provide practical and emotional support to service users, working jointly with them to carry out, implement and review needs assessments and support plans.
- To understand and work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of service users using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Work with high-risk service users to help them access services, to keep them and their children safe.
- Advocate for high-risk service users with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse.
- Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to service users and how your role fits into them.
- Providing information to service users in relation to legal options, housing, health and finance.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with all key agency partners to address the safety of high risk service users ensuring their needs are met and safety plans are coordinated particularly through the MARAC.
- Manage a case load ensuring each person receives the appropriate support, tailored to their needs.
- Support the empowerment of the service user - assisting people to recognise the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation, and help them regain control of their lives.
- Support service users to maintain existing accommodation and to advocate on their behalf, in order to access accommodation and additional support.
- To recognise, respect and address the needs of service users who face barriers when seeking help to access the service, including those from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ communities, disabled people, those with complex needs and other groups which services have found difficult to reach.
- Provide practical and emotional support in relation to criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, education, employment, welfare benefits, counselling, legal aid and children’s support.
- Accompany service users, when needed, to other relevant agencies and support them in their interactions with these agencies.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
