Our Advocacy services
We provide advocacy direct to children and young people in a variety of situations. Advocates around the country support children and young people to get their voice heard in decisions about their lives. This may be through the telephone Helpline or through an advocate working directly with a child, for instance, to support them at a review meeting or to help them make a complaint about their care. Coram Voice provides visiting advocacy services to most of the secure units nationally, to Secure Training Centres, Juvenile Young Offender Institutions, psychiatric hospitals, residential special schools and children’s homes.
About the Role
We are looking for an Advocate to join our team in London. We are seeking applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn, a desire to promote the rights of children and young people or already have an IAP City and Guilds Level 3 or IAQ City and Guilds Level 4 in Advocacy.
You will work directly with children and young people in, and on the edges, of care, providing them with advocacy support in the community and a variety of settings.
You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives.
You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands we are looking for a specialist Advocate for Scotland. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. We welcome applications from candidates with experience of domestic abuse. · Manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities.
· Give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf.
· Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

About this key role
As an Education Liaison Specialist Caseworker, you will provide specialist education support to children and young people who are disengaged from learning or at risk of exclusion, many of whom have experienced trauma, exploitation or significant disadvantage.
You will manage a caseload of children and young people, delivering one-to-one interventions and group sessions within Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Alternative Provision and community settings. Working collaboratively with families, schools and professionals, you will help children access safe, appropriate education pathways while ensuring their voice remains central to every stage of support.

Job Description
Do you have experience in designing, reviewing or improving administrative or operational processes, with a focus on the user experience above all? We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead and deliver a transformation roadmap that redesigns and improves student services, using service design and business analysis approaches to create efficient, student-centred processes across the Union.
The role is full time (with part time possibility) and a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).
Duties and Responsibilities
You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.
You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.
Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. You will also ensure that all changes align with governance, risk and compliance requirements, supporting sustainable and effective service delivery.
Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of service design or business analysis approaches, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse audiences.

About the role
This is a part-time, permanent role (14 hours per week) that sits at the heart of LAH's operations and administration. As our Bookkeeper, you will ensure our financial records are accurate, our compliance obligations are met, and our senior team has the reliable information they need to make good decisions.
Day to day, you will process invoices and payments, reconcile bank accounts, prepare records for our annual audit, manage our income tracking across all programmes, and support payroll administration, all using Xero. You will report directly to the Director and work closely with the wider team.
This is not a back-office role at a distance from our mission. You will be on-site with us, part of the team, and your work will be visible and valued.
What we are looking for
You will bring at least two years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in the voluntary sector, alongside a relevant accounting qualification (IAB, AAT or equivalent). You will be confident with accounting software (we use Xero), have a strong eye for detail, and be able to work independently while being a genuine team player.
Just as importantly, you will have an understanding of and commitment to the communities we serve, and you will bring that commitment to everything you do.

JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate Dudley Lodge's impact reporting, fundraising support and business development activities across the organisation.

George Watson’s College wishes to appoint a Senior Philanthropy Officer to lead the school’s individual giving and legacy fundraising initiatives, and support major programmes and campaigns. Develop strong relationships with donors and our alumni community to grow philanthropic income and long-term engagement.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual Giving
Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of individual giving efforts. Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience.
Monitor performance and analyse results to drive continuous improvement in participation, engagement, and revenue.
Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing, and other internal teams, to source and develop compelling content.
Along with the Head of Development, manage a fundraising communications calendar and play a leading role in content creation.

Execute fundraising strategies in partnership with the Head of Development. Build, segment, code, and deploy emails to support giving campaigns and organisational priorities.
Manage a portfolio of donors linked to specific programmes and campaigns.

Plan and deliver multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (print, digital, events)
Build and maintain relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects
Deliver high-quality, sensitive stewardship to recognise and retain legacy supporters

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Essential:
Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrable experience in Individual Giving, Direct Marketing or Legacy fundraising, with an annual income return of 6+ figures
Proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns
Strong understanding of supporter journeys, acquisition and retention
Skilled in data analysis, performance tracking and forecasting
Proficiency with graphic design tools, experience with Canva would be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience with Raisers Edge, or similar CRM system
Ability to manage complex projects and programs and deliver to set KPI and timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with content writing, brand voice, and digital fundraising best practices.
Ability to build and foster relationships across business functions.
Understanding of charity law, GDPR and best practices in fundraising

The role of the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer - Devolved Nations is vital to achieving our UK-wide advocacy mission: to reduce health inequalities in type 1 diabetes, to widen access to type 1 diabetes treatments and technologies and to ensure that people with type 1 get access to emerging new treatments and future cures in the devolved nations.
You will lead on projects with key stakeholders and high-level Parliamentarians, such as our access to treatments and early detection work, as well as people with type 1 diabetes, policy makers and researchers. You will help to deliver Breakthrough T1D’s influencing plans, improving access to and choice of type 1 diabetes treatments and technology in the devolved nations.
Experience required
Experience of working successfully with politicians, their offices, Government departments, and other public affairs stakeholders to influence policy and to influence public/stakeholder discourse across the devolved nations
Experience of leading public affairs delivery in at least one (preferably all) of the devolved nations
