What You’ll Do

This will need to be compelling and can be tailored for NHS procurement suppliers and aligned to the charity’s strategic goals.
Develop a corporate volunteering opportunities deck, ready to share with prospective and current partners.
Identify key stakeholders within target prospect organisations and make proactive outreach to arrange prospect meetings between corporate contacts and the Head of Fundraising, to support the charity’s income growth ambitions.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Bethnal Green, Isle of Dogs or Stepney and Wapping areas, working 35 hours per week. This IPS services at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. The Community Development Worker creates opportunities for connection, belonging, and peer support. This includes facilitating drop-ins, creative activities, coffee mornings, and other community spaces where survivors can meet others with shared experiences in a safe, trauma-informed environment. The team also provides regular check-ins for people waiting to access other services, helping them stay connected and supported while they wait.
You'll be someone who is comfortable working with trauma and has experience in mental health, support, or community engagement. We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked with men, sexual harms, and their loved ones, but we also recognise that great people bring transferable skills and different experiences.
