Each year, we run a huge World AIDS Day campaign across the UK, engaging thousands of schools, colleges, universities, companies, community groups and individuals to raise awareness of HIV and vital funds to support our work. We also run an online shop, taking hundreds of ribbon and brooch orders during the campaign.
We’re looking for someone self-motivated and enthusiastic to help our small, dedicated fundraising team liaise with our many supporters and send out packs of red ribbons and supporting materials. You’ll also coordinate and manage the dispatch of online shop orders, and support the finance and resources team to reconcile donations received through our website.
You’ll be part of a small team of dedicated colleagues working across different fundraising specialisms whilst collaborating to reach our goals, and a key part of an organisation of people who are all inspired by the difference we can make. This is a good opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience of working in fundraising, finance, or in the HIV/charity sector.

Guts UK are looking for a new Fundraising Assistant to join the team. The fundraising assistant is the first point of contact for many of our supporters and donors. They record all of our donations in our fundraising database; they make sure all of our donor data is up to date; and they are often part of the early stewardship journey for our supporters.
The role holder is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all donor information in our fundraising database including consent and marketing preferences. They are also responsible for capturing all fundraising donations in that database with the appropriate coding to help us understand where the donation came from. About The Role
As part of our BFI Screen Heritage Fund ‘Resilient Foundations’ project, we are seeking a highly motivated Fundraising Consultant to support and develop London’s Screen Archives’ (LSA) nascent major gift fundraising strategy from individuals.
Over three years, the LSA Fundraising Consultant will help start LSA on its major gift and individual giving fundraising journey. Cara has been a lifeline to academics at risk for over 90 years enabling them to continue their teaching and research in safety, as and when world events have placed them in the line of fire: Hungarian Uprising, Cold War, Apartheid South Africa, Iran, Latin American Juntas, Vietnam, Kosovo, DRC, Rwanda, Sudan, Zimbabwe etc. and, more recently Iraq, Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine.
Today, our Fellowship Programme convenes a network of 135 UK universities in the UK to secure research placements for at-risk academics and support for their families, continuing a longstanding commitment of protecting academics and preserving their knowledge and expertise.

Role & Responsibilities
Casework
Signposting prospective applicants to the application form.
Manage own caseload, preparing cases for eligibility review, including arranging calls to speak with applicants, booking English language tests, and gathering all relevant documentation.
Escalating complex cases to the Team Leader as required.
Maintain accurate and GDPR-Compliant records of casework activity.
Researching international affairs to develop understanding about risks applicants face.
Attending weekly case review meetings with the team.
Administration
Provide general administrative and logistical support, including answering phone enquiries.

IPSEA (Independent Provider of Special Education Advice) is a national charity working to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the educational support they are legally entitled to. Since we were formed in 1983, we have helped to improve the education experience of thousands of children and young people across England. We do this by providing free and independent legal advice and casework support for families, undertaking policy work and delivering training on the SEND legal framework.

We are seeking a Policy Manager to lead IPSEA's policy and influencing work to achieve positive change for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Legal and Training, trustees and colleagues across the organisation, you will set strategic policy priorities and develop evidence-based influencing plans that support IPSEA's mission and long-term objectives.
Drawing on insights from our advice and tribunal services, legal expertise and the experiences of families, you will identify systemic issues within the SEND system and develop policy solutions that improve children and young people's access to the support and education to which they are entitled. You will ensure that IPSEA's policy positions are credible, legally robust and informed by the lived experiences of those we support.
You will lead IPSEA's engagement with government, Parliament and other key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to influence legislation, policy and practice at both national and local level. This includes overseeing responses to consultations, parliamentary inquiries and calls for evidence, as well as preparing briefings and strategic advice to support senior-level engagement and advocacy.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across legal, communications, fundraising and training teams, you will ensure IPSEA's policy, campaigning and public affairs activities are aligned and maximise the organisation's impact. You will also monitor developments across the political, legal and policy landscape, helping IPSEA respond proactively to emerging opportunities and challenges affecting the rights of children and young people with SEND.

Who are we looking for?
You will have significant experience in a senior policy and campaigning/public affairs role and have good knowledge of local and national government structure including the legislative process.
You the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including MPs, civil servants, campaigners and parents. You exhibit tact and diplomacy and can be impactful with people of varying levels and experience.
Your research and critical thinking skills enable you to analyse policy and data to produce relevant reports and position papers. You have experience of drafting organisation responses to government consultations and parliamentary calls for evidence.

Purpose of the role:
As Community Fundraising Officer, you'll play a key role in growing Sheffield Hospitals Charity's income, reach and relationships across Sheffield.
This is a role where you'll have real ownership, managing your own portfolio of community partnerships, self-led fundraising, collections and volunteers, while building new relationships and finding opportunities to grow support for the charity.

What you’ll be responsible for:
Income Generation
Work to achieve agreed income targets by developing community fundraising opportunities and relationships with new and existing supporters.
Manage a portfolio of community fundraisers and supporters, providing advice, resources and support to maximise income and engagement.
Lead community fundraising activities and campaigns, including Mince Pie Morning, ensuring they are well planned and promoted to maximise participation, income and engagement.
Develop and manage partnerships with colleges, community groups and organisations, securing annual and multi-year commitments and opportunities to increase fundraising and awareness.
Act as the main contact for community partnerships, providing support and stewardship and attending relevant fundraising activities and events.

Monitor, evaluate and report on community fundraising against agreed targets, using learning to inform future activity and budgets.
Collaborative Working
Work with the Brand & Communications team to develop promotional activity, share supporter stories and identify PR and awareness opportunities.
Work with the Events Fundraising team to use community contacts to promote charity events, encourage participation and maximise fundraising.
Support the events programme through regular attendance, typically – but not exclusively – as a volunteer manager.
Work with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for businesses and corporate groups to support community fundraising.
Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across our beneficiary NHS Trusts to increase awareness and identify staff and departmental engagement opportunities.
Develop resources, toolkits and guidance with colleagues to support community fundraisers, volunteers and partners.
Share community fundraising insight and learning with the wider fundraising team to inform campaigns, supporter journeys and plans.
Volunteers
Deliver the charity’s volunteer recruitment and engagement strategy, including effective recruitment, onboarding and retention.
