You'll support managers and staff with advice on ways of working, implementation of employment policies and enabling effective people management across AaA through supporting employee relations case work. You'll also ensure that all variations to contracts impacting terms and conditions of employment and pay are written accurately.
You'll support managers with absence/health issues, including making occupational health referrals as required, and following up and assisting through the capability process. You'll prepare HR related documentation and support administration, ensuring records are kept securely, confidentially and up to date.
We are looking for some someone who has:
- A CIPD qualification/currently studying towards a CIPD qualification or demonstrable equivalent ER experience.
- Demonstrable experience providing advice to managers and staff on HR related matters.
- Strong knowledge of ER case work, current employment law and HR best practice.
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders with an ability to be sensitive, diplomatic and tactful when required.

Job Purpose
This role sits at the heart of Operation Smile UK’s five-year strategy to deliver transformational growth across all income streams. As Retention Fundraising Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering on three of the four core strategic priorities:
1. Build Regular Giving – retain and maximise value from the regular giving base
2. Drive All Donors to Legacy – ensure donors experience best-in-class stewardship, increasing their loyalty to the charity with an objective of feeding into legacy and long-term giving goals.
3. Maximise Growth Through Digital Fundraising Integration – leading the expansion and optimisation of digital growth for all existing supporters.
The Retention Lead is responsible for delivering Operation Smile UK’s strategic individual giving retention and legacy marketing programme. This role is key to driving income growth from our existing donors from the point of recruitment, maximising value and minimising attrition from the regular giving pool and generating and retaining legacy actions and prospects.
You will lead on the strategy, planning, delivery and evaluation of retention campaigns, with full accountability for managing significant budgets, agency partnerships and performance metrics.
You will support the development of the Legacy strategy, be instrumental in planning legacy activity and delivering legacy marketing for the existing supporter base across all income streams and methods of support, from Partnerships, Volunteers and public fundraisers.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced Individual giving fundraiser with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership
- Develop and implement the retention strategy, aligned with income targets and supporter growth objectives.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of campaigns across cash, donor stewardship, legacy prospecting and stewardship, welcome, conversion, reactivation and upgrade appeals.
- Lead on strategic development of the cultivation journey to ensure Operation Smile maximise growth through digital channels.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insight-driven recommendations to optimise results.
- Drive testing and innovation to expand existing approaches and introduce new ones within acceptable risk and return parameters.
Budget Ownership & Performance Monitoring

- Collaborate with the Senior Database Manager and the Director of Data and Technology to develop and maintain performance dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and support strategic data analysis, including both short term and long-term channel performance evaluation.
Line Management
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the Retention team, ensuring clarity of objectives, effective workload management, and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, annual appraisals, and performance reviews for direct reports, supporting their growth and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging innovation, learning, and high standards of delivery.

Agency & Partner Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external fundraising and creative partners.

- Work closely with the Acquisition and Digital lead to deliver a seamless supporter journey from point of recruitment to donor communications.
- Work closely with the Philanthropy Manager to develop and manage the pipeline of HV/Major donors.
- Work closely with the Legacy administrator, Philanthropy Manager and Volunteer Manager to develop the legacy pipeline.

- Act as a key liaison with colleagues across Operation Smile global markets, sharing insights and exploring opportunities to align strategy, co-develop creative, or pilot cross-market initiatives.

- Ensure all campaigns meet legal, ethical and data protection requirements (e.g., GDPR, Fundraising Regulator).
- Act as a key contributor to organisational risk assessments relating to income performance and supplier performance.

Essential Experience
- Extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) in Individual Giving, Legacy or fundraising acquisition roles.
- Proven success delivering multi-channel (including digital) retention campaigns for both cash, legacy and regular giving donors with strong ROI.
- Experience managing external agencies and suppliers to high performance standards.
- Strong background in regular giving retention.
- Demonstrable experience managing and reporting on retention budgets.

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works
and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference.
One of the most important things we do is make sure our commissioning and procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently. We manage complex grant agreements and partnerships that support projects designed to create real impact. To do this well, we need accurate data, clear processes and strong coordination across teams and partners. The Delivery Operations Manager role is critical to making that happen. Reporting to the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager, you’ll be the central point for operational delivery; drafting and managing grant agreements, maintaining data integrity in Salesforce and ensuring payments and requirements are processed correctly.
You’ll onboard partners, resolve issues quickly and keep everything organised so our teams can focus on delivering change. By supporting operations and improvements, you’ll help us maximise the impact of every pound we invest.
Key Responsibilities
Your role would be essential to keeping our commissioning and procurement processes running smoothly and efficiently. Manage grant agreements and contract administration in response to the needs of each team:
o Draft, prepare and execute initial grant agreements and subsequent variations, using Adobe e-Sign where required.

o Process adjustments to grant commitments, payment schedules and requirements promptly and accurately.

applications to assessors, set up interviews and provide GEM administrative support when required.
o For the Evaluation team: Maintain an evaluation report tracking system to monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
o Ensure data archiving is completed and shared with ONS/DfE as required.
Support process improvements and system integrity
o Assist the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager and Assistant Director of Finance and Operations in implementing improvements to commissioning and procurement processes.
o Provide backup technical support for Salesforce during periods when the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager is unavailable or requires assistance.
o Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency across commissioning operations.
Enable effective communication and reporting
o Serve as the main point of contact for initial commissioning and procurement requests when they arise, ensuring streamlined processes and avoiding duplication.
o Provide timely responses and clear communication to internal teams to improve stakeholder experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events and Community Fundraising Executive to take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon and Great North Run, and supporting our community fundraisers to raise vital funds.

The Fleet Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of FareShare South West’s fleet, including vans, HGVs, forklifts, and manual handling equipment. This role ensures all vehicles, equipment, and drivers operate to the highest standards of safety, legal compliance, and operational effectiveness.
The Fleet Manager supports the wider operations and volunteer driving teams (including 2X HGV Drivers) through training, onboarding, and best practice-practice guidance. Working closely with Hub Managers, the Head of Operations, Food Manager and external contractors, the role drives continuous improvement across fleet operations and contributes to the smooth running of all FSSW transport activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee servicing, MOTs, repairs, and maintenance for all fleet vehicles, forklifts, and manual handling equipment.
- Diagnose and triage vehicle issues, coordinating timely resolution with trusted contractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with garages, leasing companies, insurers, fuel card providers, and breakdown services.
