The Office Administrator is the first point of contact for general enquiries. They are responsible for various areas of administration involving our staff, Fellows, trustees and external organisations. They play a logistical role in several important areas of PSTT activity supporting our professional learning events and activities, our awards, planning, fundraising, logistics, key processes and communications with Fellows. The role also involves the collection, collation and maintenance of essential PSTT data sources.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Customers Services you will:

· Monitor and where necessary promote improvements in compliance against our complaints and compensation policies, ensuring timely and high-quality responses

· Support customer facing teams to maintain a positive complaint handling culture and service through training, sharing data and good practice

· Lead on liaison with the Housing Ombudsman, ensuring all enquiries are responded to and that CHS learns from cases.

· Analyse complaint data and identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement

· Support continuous improvement across the complaints process and customer experience

· Prepare our internal and external reporting and self-assessments and ensure they are published on time.

· Experience of handling complex, high-volume complaints within a social housing, local government or other regulated organisation in a customer facing environment

Finance

About the Team

The Alumni Relations and Development Office is a small, collaborative team responsible for alumni engagement, fundraising, alumni events, and stewardship activity. Working closely with senior College leadership and colleagues across departments, the team delivers a varied programme of events and communications to strengthen engagement and support the College’s development priorities. The Development Operations Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the systems, data, reporting and financial processes that underpin fundraising and alumni relations activity at Linacre College. Working at the heart of a small and ambitious team, the postholder will manage the College’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge/NXT), and will take responsibility for gift administration, reconciliation, data integrity, reporting, segmentation and operational processes. The role requires sound judgement, strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve data, process and finance discrepancies independently within agreed frameworks.

The postholder will provide specialist operational expertise to colleagues, advising on data selection, reporting outputs, CRM use and process improvements. Challenge Events and Community Fundraising Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Remote with attendance at meetings in Cannock/London (approx 2 per month) and attendance at events across the UK as required.

Lead the transformation of challenge events fundraising for a charity that changes children's lives daily. You'll build a national portfolio of inspiring events that generate significant income and create lasting supporter relationships.

What you'll be doing

You'll develop and deliver a sustainable programme of challenge events and supporter-led fundraising activities. Working with the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you'll create the strategy and drive income growth.

Strategic Development:

• Develop challenge events strategy and annual operational plans
• Set budgets, income targets and performance indicators
• Research new event opportunities and market trends
• Monitor performance and maximise income generation

Event Portfolio Management:

• Build portfolio including running, cycling, walking, trekking, overseas and virtual challenges
• Recruit, steward and retain participants through exceptional supporter journeys
• Manage relationships with external event organisers and suppliers
• Ensure safe, effective delivery meeting ROI targets

Relationship Building:

• Support corporate partners, community groups, schools and local businesses
• Deliver high-quality supporter care throughout their journey
• Collaborate across Fundraising, Marketing, Retail and Services teams
• Move supporters into long-term giving opportunities

What we're looking for

• Evidence of commitment to professional development within fundraising, events management or supporter engagement
• Experience delivering digital fundraising and supporter journeys
• Experience of mass participation events and challenge events delivery
• Track record achieving income targets and delivering fundraising growth
• Experience building relationships with supporters, volunteers and external stakeholders
• Experience planning and delivering events, managing budgets and monitoring financial performance
• Experience working with fundraising databases or CRM systems

To achieve their vision, they are looking for an Individual Giving Manager with a focus on acquisition to work alongside the Head of Individual Giving across regular gifts, appeals, lottery, raffle and other new products.

The Individual Giving Manager drives the recruitment of new supporters and supports the stewardship of warm audience, generating sustainable income for Shaftesbury. The proportion of acquisition focus v retention focus is likely around 70/30. 

This role focuses on maximising long-term value through innovative and impactful multichannel campaigns including reactivating lapsed supporters, optimising supporter conversion and delivering engaging onboarding experiences. The Individual Giving Manager will work on growing regular giving, cash and gaming pipelines and manage exciting projects which could include digital, DRTV, face-to- face, telemarketing, direct mail and radio. The role will provide assistance to the Head of Individual Giving with all retention activity, including cash appeals and newsletters. 

Shaftesbury is happy to consider fundraisers or officer level candidates looking to step up into their first manager level role. At present this role doesn’t line manage, so management experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for fundraising, supporter journeys and creative thinking and may have experience within a UK based charity in either IG and legacies, community fundraising, corporate or philanthropy.

This role is hybrid, with 4 days per month on average at either the Gateshead office or London office. The one role is being advertised twice to ensure candidates from both geographic locations see the role within their search remit and feel able to apply.

The Stories & Content Manager is responsible for developing and delivering an integrated, diverse 
stories and content plan and framework to support the three charity brands – Evelina London 
Children’s Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity.

Reporting to the Senior Brand & Content Manager, this role is responsible for the development of 
compelling, purposeful content and stories, working across digital and offline channels. Through this, 
the role contributes to showcasing our charities’ work and impact, driving our fundraising ambitions, 
and raising overall brand awareness. The Stories & Content Manager supports all teams across the 
Charities directorate, creating relevant, timely content for multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning 

• Develop and deliver the stories strategy for the organisation, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders across the Foundation and NHS Trust. 
• Execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with charities’ goals, target audience and brand identity. 

Content Creation 

• Create high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns. 
• Research, gather and sensitively write/collate stories content for placement across channels, in a variety of different formats including written, video, animation and photography. 
• Support with video production related to charity stories. Support with shoots, source film locations, set shoot schedules, film or supervise filming on the day, and plan final distribution
• Work with external agencies, photographers and videographers producing video or animated content featuring the people we support.
• Ensure diversity of voices across all storytelling, in line with our charities’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy. 

Planning and Process 

• Maintain robust story gathering systems and processes to identify and support people who have actively opted to share their stories, ensuring robust consent, safeguarding and risk assessment procedures are in place and adhered to. 
• Manage a database of stories and track their use across our charities to ensure we maximise their potential across our channels and events. 

Stakeholder Management 

• Develop excellent working relationships across a matrix structure, collaborating with cross functional teams to gather information and develop content that supports charity goals. 

Other Responsibilities 

• Manage budgets related to stories strategy and implementation. 
• Upskill and support teams across the three charities in storytelling and content production best practice. 
• Carry out other appropriate duties as required.
