About the role
Reporting directly to the Sanctuary Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our accommodation pathways, ensuring the best possible outcomes for destitute migrants and newly granted refugees.
This is a dynamic, frontline casework role that spans three core areas of our housing provision:
The Hosting Project: Supporting people seeking sanctuary who have no recourse to public funds by giving them a welcoming, safe place to stay in the home of one of our volunteer hosts.
Refugee Lodgings: Helping to provide a safe and supported housing option for newly granted refugees at risk of homelessness by matching them with people who have a spare room.
Transitional Housing: Providing vital tenancy sustainment support for newly granted refugees transitioning into our shared accommodation properties.
About you
We are seeking a dedicated, highly organised, and empathetic professional with proven experience working directly with people experiencing homelessness, particularly asylum seekers and forced migrants.
You will have a strong working knowledge of the housing system, the UK welfare system (including Universal Credit and Housing Benefit), and how to support people to access their entitlements. Because this role requires managing complex casework and navigating cultural nuances, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, particularly when working with vulnerable people or those with English as a second language.

Villagers Connect is a community development project which is working to sustain a strong and vibrant community in the villages of Colgate, Faygate and Rusper. It aims to build connections and relationships which increase confidence, independence and empowerment, particularly for the over 65’s.
We are seeking a part-time community development worker to work as part of a small team that is active in this rural location in the Horsham district. The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for UK schools, you will play a pivotal role in growing our school partner base which will enable us to support even more young people with making informed decisions about their next steps.
You will need to be target-driven and proactive. While you will be fully supported by the UK schools team, you will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.
Your key responsibilities:
Strategic Outreach: Design tailored campaigns to engage Headteachers, Careers Leads and Trust Executives in a smart and compelling way.
Lead Generation: Communicate with non-partner schools and colleges to explain how Unifrog supports student outcomes and Gatsby Benchmark and PSHE compliance, and secure online demonstrations for our Area Managers.

Market Intelligence: Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK ed-tech landscape and the evolving statutory requirements for careers guidance in schools.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Variety is looking for a Trusts and Foundations Executive to join our Fundraising and Marketing Team. Reporting to the Trusts and Foundations Manager, the role will be vital in growing our income to fund life-changing practical support to disabled and disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
You will be responsible for building and sustaining Variety’s growth across our Trust and Foundations portfolio by expanding our low and mid-sized supporters. You will pro-actively approach, secure and steward a pipeline of Trusts and Foundations (ranging from £500 to £20,000) and support the Trusts and Foundations Manager on larger applications and impact reporting.
You will be working with a supportive and knowledgeable team who regularly work from our office in the heart of Camden, London. This role will also require a DBS check.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Income generation
·Managing relationships with existing funders to secure repeat funding.
·Preparing and submitting high-quality funding applications for varied projects.
·Independently managing a well-developed pipeline of prospective funders.
·Leading on delivering small Trust mailings throughout the year.
Prospect Research
·Proactively researching and evaluating potential grant funders using funding databases.
·Identifying and aligning potential fundraising opportunities to our projects.
·Directly building relationships with potential funders via telephone and email.
·Keeping accurate records of trust prospects on our CRM, Salesforce.
Stewardship
·Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders to secure grants and increase capacity to donate.
·Delivering exceptional stewardship through timely, personalised and highly creative top-quality tailored reports for our restricted grants programmes.
·Working closely with programmes team to gather insight, data and evidence to fulfil reporting requirements for projects funded by Trusts and Foundations.

Administration & Management
·Ensuring that donations are accurately coded and acknowledged in a timely manner.
·Monitoring income performance against agreed targets. This will include pro-actively updating the Trust and Foundations Manager on progress, risks or emerging income generation opportunities.
·Assisting with the creation of fundraising templates for our various projects using our marketing templates.
·Updating salesforce and maintaining accurate records and donor information in our CRM systems.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Essential
· Experience working within a fundraising team at a charity.
· Experience engaging with supporters across the cultivation cycle. For example, researching potential donors, engaging with or stewarding them.
· Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and confidently in-person and on the telephone.
· Strong creative writing skills, with experience gathering and simplifying complex information into accessible content.

At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to
achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.

Expanding our curriculum
In response to our successful roll out of T Levels from September 2024 we are expecting to expand the offer of the program in Digital Software Development with up to 75 learners across both our campuses with London hosting up to 50 learners. This includes a 315-hour industry placement and a comprehensive skills program designed to launch successful careers in tech. We are also looking ahead to launching new V Levels in 2027 in response to the DfE launch of distinct programmes of study.

Teach Computer Science to Ada students, maintaining outstanding standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
Support the college in developing an inventive approach to teaching, learning and assessment in computer science so that all students are challenged effectively and enabled not simply to achieve high outcomes but also to gain an excellent understanding of the subject which propels them into successful progression routes.
Prepare high quality learning resources that reflect the Ada Approach to Collaborative Professionalism.
Provide academic and pastoral support for students in their lessons, as well as support outside lessons (e.g. after college or during part of lunch) to ensure that every student makes continuous and effective progress.

The Role
The Careers Advisers will cover one or more of the following regions: Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required.
Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.
You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.
We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.
