The role
We’re seeking a Prospect Research Manager to join our collaborative Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This is an exciting new role in the team as we invest in building our high value pipelines across trusts, foundations, major donors and corporates.
We have worked with a consultant to lay the foundations for a new to the organisation prospect research function. Over the last five years, our database has grown considerably, offering a strong opportunity to enhance our prospect research. We are looking for a full-time member of the team to take this work forward, embed an insight led approach to prospect research and work with the team to effectively manage pipelines and grow income.
The Prospect Research Manager will play a critical role in driving the organisation’s growth by prioritising the identification and development of new prospects and building a strong, sustainable pipeline. A key focus of the role will be on effectively segmenting and prioritising prospects, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and ensure resources are directed towards the highest-value opportunities. The postholder will work closely with fundraisers, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach. Success in this role will require speed and agility, being able to quickly interpret briefs, distil complex information into clear, actionable insights, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes.

Purpose of the Role
The Manager for Young Lives & Families and Independent Living Advice & Support provides operational leadership and coordination across both departments.
The postholder supervises project leads, ensures effective, person-centred service delivery, and maintains quality, compliance and accountability in line with AoD’s values and the Social Model of Disability.
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager supports planning, performance monitoring, budgeting and partnership development to ensure services for Disabled children, young people, adults and families are delivered to a high standard and meet contractual outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide clear, supportive day-to-day leadership across both departments, ensuring that services meet organisational and contractual requirements.
2. Supervise and support the project leads for Youth, Supported Internships (H&F and K&C), Welfare Benefits Advice and Direct Payments Support.
3. Coordinate delivery to ensure that all activities are inclusive, accessible and informed by the Social Model of Disability.
4. Oversee compliance with statutory, contractual and safeguarding requirements, maintaining accurate monitoring and quality-assurance systems.
5. Manage departmental budgets within agreed limits and contribute to forecasting, reporting and value-for-money reviews.
6. Prepare and submit funding applications and tender bids, in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring proposals are evidence-based and aligned with AoD’s strategic priorities.
7. Lead regular team meetings, supervision and appraisals; set clear objectives and support staff development.
8. Build and maintain effective partnerships with local authorities, schools, colleges, employers and community organisations to strengthen outcomes.
9. Support project leads with data collection, outcome reporting and evaluation (including use of Salesforce or other systems).
10. Promote co-production and participation by Disabled people in service design, delivery and review.
11. Contribute to planning and service improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance delivery and efficiency.

This role serves as the strategic lead on media, and external communication matters for the Pensions Board, advising and working with senior leaders to propose, develop and execute well thought through proactive and reactive communication strategies to realise delivery of our biggest priorities
It is a hybrid and matrix role. The role holder will work within the NCIs' multi-disciplinary national Communications team ensuring the Board's external communications response is resilient, best practice and well-planned while also taking a steer on initiatives and the handling of key topics from leaders within the Pensions Board. Being able to influence and engage with senior leaders from multiple expert disciplines will be absolutely essential.
Your day-to-day reporting line for key work objectives is to the Director of Strategy & Engagement in the Pensions Board. Professional development and formal line management will be undertaken by the Head of Financial Communications in the NCI's Comms team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboration
* Be the primary 'lead' press contact for key stakeholders at the Pensions Board, with a particular focus on ethical and Responsible Investment.
* Lead the development of external media plans to support delivery of the Board's objectives, aligning these with customer communications and stakeholder plans being formed within the Board, working closely with the Customer Communications Manager and Engagement colleagues in Housing and Pensions
* Work as part of the Financial Communications team to manage the relationship with the Ethical Investment Advisory Group,
* Proactively initiate, build and manage complex relationships with key financial and specialist journalists who cover the work of the Pensions Board, strengthening the Board's media presence.

Communications planning/proactive comms
* Initiate and sustain effective external communications planning on a monthly and annual basis. This includes setting clear objectives to enhance effectiveness, close gaps and prioritising 'media' requests across Pensions Board teams.
* Be responsible for the development and delivery of key KPIs assessing media performance, and external reach, reporting to the Pensions Board's Director of Strategy & Engagement.
* Put in place a robust comms calendar
* Shape and author messaging ahead of anticipated media interest with an aim to grow the influence of the Pensions Board.
* As a trusted and savvy communications expert, advise internal stakeholders in the development and communication of their core messaging, especially on key projects and initiatives.
* Proactively identify and realise PR opportunities for the Pensions Board aligned to the Board's delivery plan, key strategic projects and making the most of opportunities with wider Church networks.
Reactive comms
* Monitor press coverage and distribute to internal contacts
* Respond professionally to media enquiries from news organisations, including the rapid development of agreed responses to media enquiries, seeking counsel from the Head of Financial Communications to enhance the response. Staying calm under pressure will be essential.
* Field media requests for interviews, photo calls, events, and similar.
* Support with media training and photo shoots for internal stakeholders, including working with and coaching colleagues (at all levels) to enhance their confidence with media exposure.
Content and events
* Identify and organise relevant speaking, conference and award opportunities, including speech writing where needed.
* Collaborate on the production of the PB's annual review, Stewardship Report and other reports - liaising with internal stakeholders, collating and editing content, working with the design agency, and managing budget
* Initiate, manage and maintain excellent relationships with external suppliers and design agencies, including instilling clear standards for delivery.
Essential

* Knowledge of pensions and investments industry, including regulatory landscape

About this job
The Head of Research enables successful delivery of the organisation’s ground-breaking Research Strategy. They will provide vital leadership, strategic direction and day to day management of the MS Society’s research programme as well as leadership of the Research Team.
This varied and exciting role also involves developing and maintaining strategically relevant partnerships, annual grant round, new research strategy and acting as a spokesperson for the MS Society as well as being a key ambassador – inspiring internal teams about the MS Society’s research programme.
Please note this is a part-time 14 hours per week position. This could be worked across either 2 or 3 days.

Main Purpose of the Role
The Head of Partnerships and Networks provides senior leadership for EHCVS’s partnerships, networks, and income development. Reporting to the CEO, the post-holder strengthens the voice and connectivity of the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) and develops new, sustainable income for the organisation and the wider sector.
The role focuses on growing corporate funding and business partnerships, developing Hounslow Giving (the borough’s place-based giving scheme) in partnership with the Head of Volunteering, and encouraging collaboration and consortium bids across the VCS.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Funding and Income Development
• Lead the development of corporate funding, sponsorship, and business partnerships to generate sustainable income for EHCVS and the wider sector.
• Build relationships with local businesses, major employers (such as Heathrow), and corporate funders, developing clear cases for support.
• Identify corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community investment opportunities and help diversify income.
Developing Hounslow Giving (Place-Based Giving)
• Work with the Head of Volunteering to develop Hounslow Giving, the borough’s place-based giving scheme, as part of the London Giving network.
• Bring together business, philanthropic, public, and community partners to grow local giving and connect funds to local need.
• Support donation, fundraising, and volunteering routes that engage both individuals and businesses.
Partnerships, Networks and Consortium Development
• Coordinate and facilitate EHCVS networks and forums across both boroughs, encouraging partnerships and collaboration within the VCS.
• Develop consortium bids with VCS partners, brokering relationships to pursue joint funding opportunities.
• Represent EHCVS and the VCS at strategic boards and sector events, and maintain relationships with statutory partners (local authorities, NHS, Integrated Care Board).
Leadership and Team
• Provide senior leadership for partnerships, networks, and income development, contributing to the senior leadership team and deputising for the CEO as required.
• Line manages relevant staff, providing supervision and development support.
Monitoring, Reporting and Governance
• Capture engagement, income, and outcomes, and contribute to internal and funder reporting.
• Ensure activity complies with relevant policies (safeguarding, GDPR, equality and diversity) and with fundraising good practice.
Person Specification
Essential
• Senior experience of developing partnerships, networks, or income in the VCSE, public, or social enterprise sector.

The Opportunity
This is far more than a community fundraising role.
You'll lead the development of SportsAid's Community Fundraising & Engagement programme at a pivotal moment in our history, helping shape the future of one of the UK's most respected sports charities.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications and as part of an ambitious leadership team, you'll develop and deliver a bold community fundraising strategy, grow sustainable unrestricted income and create outstanding supporter experiences that inspire people to back the next generation.
You'll also provide strategic leadership for our growing alumni engagement programme, ensuring former SportsAid athletes remain connected through mentoring, advocacy, storytelling, volunteering and fundraising.
Whether it's launching new fundraising products, growing challenge events, building partnerships with schools, clubs and communities, or developing innovative supporter journeys, you'll have the freedom to build something with lasting impact.

The Pepper Foundation is a local charity funding children’s hospice care at home, specialised play and family days for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The Community Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced relationship-builder to lead and grow community fundraising and challenge events activity, helping to raise vital income for The Pepper Foundation.
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of community fundraising activity, building and developing relationships with volunteers, schools, clubs, local businesses and community groups, while also nurturing existing supporters and creating an excellent experience for everyone who engages with us. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of our community fundraising and challenge events activity, proactively identifying new opportunities, developing a strong pipeline of support and managing your portfolio to grow income and deepen engagement with The Pepper Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial
• Deliver or exceed agreed income targets across community and challenge event fundraising activities.
• Manage agreed budgets for community fundraising activities and challenge events, monitoring income and expenditure and ensuring activity is delivered in line with agreed targets and plans.
• Ensure activities are delivered as cost-effectively as possible, monitoring expenditure and helping to maximise return on investment.
• Develop and refine fundraising products, activities and supporter experiences that put supporters at the centre of what we do and encourage long-term engagement.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of community fundraising opportunities, identifying prospects, converting enquiries and building repeat support from individuals, groups and local organisations.
• Help convert one-off supporters and new enquiries into repeat fundraising relationships through strong stewardship, follow-up and tailored engagement.
Communication
• Build and develop strong long-term relationships with community groups, schools, clubs and individuals to increase awareness, support and donated income.
• Support and manage key fundraising volunteers to help deliver income and activities.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising and marketing partners to ensure community and challenge fundraising activities are promoted effectively through suitable online and offline channels.
• Confidently communicate the work of The Pepper Foundation and inspire support through a variety of channels, including informal conversations, networking, presentations, written materials, newsletters and website copy.
• Deliver a high standard of donor and supporter care to maximise fundraising potential and encourage long-term support.
• Contribute ideas and content for promotional materials within agreed budgets and timelines.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to broaden participation in community fundraising and increase supporter engagement across the region.
• Proactively identify, develop and secure new community fundraising opportunities with local schools, groups, businesses and supporters to grow income and broaden engagement.
• Ensure relevant staff and volunteers are well briefed on community fundraising activities.

Management
• Recruit, train, support and motivate fundraising volunteers to help deliver community fundraising activities and events.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners, such as venues and event providers, to support successful delivery.
Planning and Organisation
• Develop and deliver activity, stewardship and campaign plans for community and challenge event fundraising within agreed priorities, budgets and income targets.
• Deliver high-quality fundraising events that raise awareness of The Pepper Foundation across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
• Use Donorfy, our fundraising CRM, to administer and manage fundraising activity accurately and effectively, working with the Database Volunteer as needed.
• Produce post-event evaluations and recommendations in line with agreed requirements.
• Use insight, pipeline information and performance data to review results, identify trends and recommend improvements to future activity.
• Manage the day-to-day planning and delivery of key events and campaigns, making decisions within agreed plans, budgets and fundraising procedures.
• Take responsibility for health and safety in community fundraising activities, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed and relevant fundraising and safety procedures are followed.
• Respond appropriately to unexpected incidents at community fundraising events, following agreed procedures and escalating where needed.
• Take an active role in setting up and clearing down events and community fundraising activities, including periods of standing and occasional unsocial hours.
• Arrange appropriate Pepper Foundation attendance at local community events when needed.
• Manage resources effectively, including volunteer support, to maximise reach, income and engagement.
Reporting
• Produce regular reports on pipeline, activity, outcomes, income performance and learning for the Head of Fundraising, highlighting opportunities, risks and recommendations.
