About the Role

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Philanthropy Officer to join us at this very exciting time. The Philanthropy Officer will be responsible for the relationship management of a portfolio of around 100 prospective donors in order to raise funds for a range of key projects. They will be responsible for the entire prospect relationship management process including researching, cultivating, asking and stewarding.
This role will play an integral part in supporting donations to improve student experience and across key areas of research.
As part of an award-winning team and led by some of the most respected names in higher education fundraising, you’ll get the chance to work across the team and wider university to encourage new donors to make long-term, sustainable and significant £10k plus gifts. You will also have the opportunity to work with our senior team on proposals to top donors enabling you to get experience of working with some of the most successful and experienced major gift fundraisers in the UK Higher Education sector.
You will be provided with a robust induction and an ongoing training program that will include support from the University as well as expert external providers.
As a Philanthropy Officer you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of current and prospective donors. You will have the confidence to ask for donations, be a strong communicator, and be passionate about making a difference to some of the biggest challenges the world faces.
The Philanthropy Officer will take ownership of the end-to-end relationship management process of a prospect, from initial research to stewardship activity:
1. The Opportunity

Key responsibilities
Support the Corporate Partnerships team to secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets, including funding for outdoor learning.
Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. networking at events, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
Lead on the completion of the due diligence process for new partnership opportunities.
Support the development of warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth
With the support of the Corporate Partnerships Team, develop corporate bids, budgets and proposals, managing the process across different teams, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support on the creation and presentation of high quality, persuasive funding bids to C-suite audiences and senior stakeholders
Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and recognised, working closely with the finance team
Ensure that the CRM is up to date and accurate at all times, including monthly updates of the pipeline report.
Support the Corporate team to keep up to date with trends, research and data on fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping to inform long-term strategy.
Experience we're after
Experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role.
Proven track record of corporate partnerships fundraising/ securing sales targets from new organisations
Experience of working in a busy and deadline-driven environment and achieving ambitious targets
Experience negotiating, pitching and presenting to senior (C-suite) internal and external stakeholders
Experience of using a donor database/ CRM system (eg. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)

About the Role
We are looking for a Development Coordinator to support and develop Outside Edge Theatre Company’s fundraising and income generation.
Working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO, Trustees and external consultants, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of fundraising activity, with a particular focus on trust and foundation fundraising, individual giving, corporate relationships, supporter communications and donor stewardship.

Job Summary
The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will build relationships with key corporate partners and provide exceptional stewardship.
Responsible for a varied and fulfilling portfolio of accounts, some of which raise six figure sums.
This position, in the Corporate and Community team, builds relationships with companies to deliver and exceed income targets and the organisation's CSR goals.
Working collaboratively towards a "one team one target" approach across the Fundraising and Engagement department, the postholder will ensure that the use of technology is maximised and all processes are subject to continuous improvement.
Areas of Responsibility
• Work collaboratively with partners to plan and deliver engagement and fundraising plans
• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, offering exceptional account management
• Identify key decision makers and use strong consultative and negotiation skills to articulate the benefits of a partnership and the organisation
• Provide excellent supporter stewardship to engage supporters and ensure agreed fundraising objectives are successfully met and if possible exceeded
• Develop and implement plans to secure financial and in-kind support from corporate partners
• Produce impact reports and innovative ways of thanking, ensuring every support feels valued, apprciated and informed
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the corporate fundraising strategy
