About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to join a regulation and quality assurance team responsible for supporting professional standards, regulatory processes and public protection.

You will coordinate organisational reviews and member reaccreditation processes, ensuring activities are scheduled effectively, deadlines are monitored and accurate records are maintained. • Helping to organise online and in-person meetings and events
  • Contributing to projects and wider organisational initiatives

About You

You will have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage several activities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

You will be a confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information, working independently and identifying when an issue needs to be escalated.

  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Experience coordinating activities involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusive working practices

Experience within a membership body, professional association, regulator or similar organisation would be advantageous. Knowledge of accreditation, audit, compliance, psychotherapy, counselling or the wider mental health sector would also be welcomed.

About the Organisation

You will be joining a leading professional body for psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors, representing training organisations and more than 12,000 members.

The organisation works to protect the public, maintain high professional standards and promote education, research and access to psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling.

Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, additional leave during the December office closure, an 8% employer pension contribution, flexible and hybrid working, occupational sick pay, enhanced maternity leave, learning and development opportunities and confidential wellbeing support.

Please note that the organisation is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
