About Code Your Future
Code Your Future trains dedicated people in poverty to change their lives by getting good jobs in the software industry. We have helped hundreds of people get jobs so far, including at companies like Google, Slack, HashiCorp, Thoughtworks, and Capgemini. All of our education is free, and we cover expenses like childcare and transportation to support people in need.
We teach part-time courses using a flipped classroom style, assigning our trainees material to learn and exercises and projects to work on. We meet in person once a week on Saturdays, and host mentoring sessions during the week, to help people with their learning. Our teaching and mentoring is primarily delivered by volunteers with a diverse set of backgrounds and skills, and our curriculum is all open source.
We sell corporate packages to companies to reach hiring and sponsorship agreements. We can create a custom training track to adjust to companies’ technical requirements.
Position Overview The People & Operations Lead manages the day-to-day execution of internal operations, driving efficiency through automated workflows across HR, finance, and community safeguarding.
Your Responsibilities

HR Operations: Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding), leave, and training management. Ensure compliance with the Equality Act, managing access requirements and reasonable adjustments across the organisation.

Financial Administration: oversee regular financial approvals, weekly expense processing, and support the annual audit.

We're looking for a People & Wellbeing Executive to be responsible for delivering efficient administrative support and knowledge that facilitates the smooth running of the People department for all other team members. · Management and development of our application tracking system to attract key talent.
· Coordinate resources to ensure relevant materials are available to support volunteers, employees and their managers throughout their Ramblers journey.

People systems and data management
· Ensure that all people related documentation is completed accurately and stored appropriately.

· To ensure the processes, tools and resources available on Rambler’s systems are accurate, user friendly and support a great user experience.
· Input, manage and interpret data to support the creation of reports to enable data led decision making.

Payroll and contractual
· Responsible for the collation, preparation and checking of payroll information for all new starter and leaver information, pay changes, position changes etc, for submission to payroll for processing.
· Maintain good knowledge and understanding of all relevant policies and procedures relevant to the role and keep up to date with employment legislation.
· Responsible for the administration of our benefits programme.
Co-ordination activities
· Assist in preparing notes, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as required
· Manage the team inbox(s), logging, dealing with and responding to queries regarding people opportunities, work experience, feedback, etc. and referring relevant queries to other colleagues or teams as appropriate.
· Provide administrative support for larger team projects and activity, for example, employee surveys or volunteer recognition events.
· Support the creation and development of inspirational employee and volunteer events and meetings.
· Create peer support opportunities for employees and volunteers so that they can share experiences and learn from each other.
General
· Undertake such other duties as may be required of the post.
· Maintain a consistently high level of service to our customers. Ensure high levels of confidentiality and credibility are always delivered, whilst being both proactive to the Ramblers needs, priorities, and deadlines.
· We operate a hybrid working model. The postholder will be expected to attend our London Bridge office for up to two days each month to take part in team meetings and collaborative working. There is also the opportunity to work from the office on additional days if preferred.

Key Responsibilities include:
Employee Lifecycle
- Deliver a high-quality, confidential and customer-focused People service from recruitment through to leaving.
- Advise line managers on recruitment; selection, interview and safer recruitment
- Provide People advice for queries from the People & Culture team in line with policies, managing and or escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Systems, Data & Reporting
- Produce timely and accurate People management information to assist organisational decision-making. (ihasco, Breathe, Livepay, Charity log, etc)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the HR information system (Breathe HR), including new profiles, personal data, annual leave and absence reporting.
- Oversee monthly payroll data collation, including hours, absences, and any contractual changes, ensuring timely submission to Payroll.
- Ensure Breathe annual holiday renewal and other system updates are effectively completed and communicated
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Manage employee relations cases, such as sickness absence, conduct, capability, disciplinary, grievance, family focussed leave, flexible working requests.
- Undertake casework, guiding and advising on relevant procedure including gathering evidence and drafting investigation reports, tracking case progress and ensuring communications and actions are completed.
- Provide consistent and fair advice to managers in accordance with policies, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to projects such as employee engagement initiatives, policy updates, wellbeing programmes, EDIE (VIBE, Voice, Inclusion, Belonging, Engagement) and system improvements.
- Support quality assurance processes in line with National Mind policies and ISO9001 standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Global HR Operations -
· Maintain a high-quality global HR operations function, including standardized policies where legally appropriate, standardized processes, technology, systems, tools, forms, and guidelines that are accessible, well understood, and consistently utilized across all offices.

Qualifications:
Education -
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
· Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent international HR certification preferred.

Experience Required:
· Minimum of 15 years of progressive human resources experience, including significant experience in global HR operations, compliance, and employee services.
· Demonstrated experience supporting a complex, multi-country or global organization, preferably within the nonprofit, international development, public health, or mission-driven sector.
· Experience partnering with global offices and navigating varying labor laws, cultural norms, and operational practices across regions.
· Proven experience developing and implementing global HR policies, procedures, systems, and operational processes.
· Experience managing HR compliance, audits, employee documentation, and data governance in international environments.
· Experience overseeing compensation and benefits administration across multiple countries and/or employer-of-record (EOR) arrangements.
· Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters and conducting or supporting investigations in collaboration with legal counsel and HR business partners.
· Experience leading or supporting HRIS optimization, system configuration, reporting, and data integrity initiatives; experience with UKG strongly preferred.
· Experience using HR metrics and workforce data to support operational planning and organizational decision-making.

As a People Systems & Benefits Specialist, you'll play a key role within our People Operations, Systems and Data team, supporting and developing the technology and benefits platforms that underpin the colleague experience across Peabody. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, payroll teams and external providers to ensure our systems are effective, our data is accurate and our benefits offering remains engaging and valuable for colleagues.

What you’ll do
- Act as Product Owner for the Salary Extras platform and support the wider management of key People systems including PeopleXD, ServiceNow HRSD, CultureAmp, Kallidus and Power BI dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across People Services, Payroll, IT and external suppliers to enhance system functionality and improve colleague experiences.
- Support the delivery of system enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing and implementation.
- Lead the administration and ongoing development of colleague benefits schemes, ensuring they remain attractive, efficient and well-managed.
- Manage relationships with benefits providers, including renewals, invoicing and issue resolution.
- Coordinate monthly benefits and recognition activities, including Long Service Awards, Recognition Awards and voluntary benefit schemes.
- Project manage the annual benefits selection window, working with suppliers, payroll teams and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience for colleagues.
- Create training materials, deliver system training sessions and promote the benefits offering through communications, drop-in sessions and colleague engagement activities.
- Monitor benefits-related queries and ensure colleagues receive a high-quality and timely service
What you’ll need
- Experience administering and supporting HR Information Systems, ideally including PeopleXD or similar platforms.
- Experience managing employee benefits platforms and administering colleague benefits schemes.
- Strong systems aptitude with the ability to identify and implement technology-led solutions to business challenges.
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets, reporting tools and advanced Excel functionality including pivot tables and formulas.
- Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical audiences
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- Knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practice

As our Office and Facilities Manager, you won't just keep the lights on and the supplies stocked you'll be the person who makes our office a place people actually want to be. You'll bring warmth, energy and sharp organisational instincts to everything from health & safety and vendor contracts to onboarding new colleagues and pulling off brilliant team events. You'll also lend a hand to our People team with day-to-day HR admin, so a genuine interest in people operations is a real plus.
What you'll be doing:
- Running the office day-to-day supplies, suppliers, maintenance, tech liaison, and everything in between
- Leading on health & safety, fire risk assessments, evacuation drills and workplace compliance
- Being the friendly first point of contact for office and facilities queries, and for general enquiries via our website
- Supporting the People team with HR admin onboarding, records, recruitment coordination and starter/leaver processes
- Organising all-staff meetings, away days and key events that bring our culture to life
- Negotiating contracts and driving value for money with external suppliers
