We are looking for ambitious and strategic Development Manager – Corporate and Philanthropy to lead the growth of our corporate fundraising, build high-value partnerships, and work with our network of senior supporters to unlock transformational opportunities.
With a strong foundation of mid-level corporate partners (typically £5k-£25k) and a skilled Senior Officer in place to manage and grow those relationships, you’ll be free to focus on securing new, higher-value partnerships and support.
The Role:
You’ll lead our corporate new business development identifying and approaching companies aligned with our mission, and converting them into long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Fundraising to cultivate high-net worth individuals and senior volunteers who can introduce us to the right people and help get us in the room.
Working with colleagues across communications, marketing and services, you’ll create professional, pitch-ready presentations and proposals that inspire companies to partner with us – and then deliver those pitches at a senior level, with confidence and clarity.
Key responsibilities:
· Research, Identify and approach new corporate prospects, building a strong pipeline of potential six-figure partners
· Lead on creating bespoke, compelling pitch decks and proposals, working with the communications and Marketing Team to ensure quality and impact.
· Deliver high-level presentations and pitches to senior stakeholders across a range of industries.
· Work with the Director of Fundraising to identify and engage major donors and key contacts who can help unlock introductions and strategic support
· Manage Senior Officer who leads on existing mid-level corporate partnerships.
· Support the growth of the mid-level portfolio and ensure excellent stewardship and reporting for all corporate partners.
· Collaborate with marketing, communications, and service delivery teams to ensure partnerships are meaningful, on-brand, and mutually beneficial.
· Monitor income and pipeline progress, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking.
What we’re looking for:
· A track record of securing new business or corporate partnerships, ideally in a fundraising CSR setting
· Confident writing and presenting skills, with experience creating professional pitch decks and delivering high-level presentations
· A strategic thinker who can spot opportunities, plan a compelling approach, and close the deal
· Experience collaborating across teams (e.g. Marketing design, service delivery) to shape proposals and deliver joint objectives
· A strong relationship-builder with the credibility to work with senior executives, philanthropists and decision-makers
· Organised, self-starting and passionate about helping families when they need it most
· Line management experience desirable, but not essential

This organisation runs over 1,000 UK projects that transform the lives of almost 300,000 children and young people every year. As the Senior Legacy Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping shape and deliver the legacy and in-memory giving fundraising programme that will maximise the lifetime value of supporters. This role will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing budget of £600k and an income target of £240k. With a varied legacy marketing programme, this role will focus on both the acquisition and retention of legacy supporters and work across a range of channels including direct mail, telemarketing, DRTV, digital, events, and Free Will products.
The successful candidate will have proven experience within legacy marketing and have a strong understanding of direct marketing across a range of audiences. They will be confident in planning, delivering, and evaluating legacy marketing campaigns, and be able to make strategic decisions based on audience insights. Ideally, this person will have previous line management experience and have managed project budgets and expenditures.

About the Role
As our Senior Legacy Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the strategic development and delivery of Compassion in World Farming’s legacy marketing programme across the UK and internationally. The Role

We are recruiting for a Fundraising Officer to join our Fundraising team located within our Marketing team. The role will lead on programme-based funding, through trusts and foundations, and corporates. You will work closely with every team at Scottish Book Trust and across a diverse portfolio of funders and projects. The post-holder will also have the opportunity to learn and engage with our wider fundraising streams, to develop their skills across fundraising as a whole. Your experience and ideas can help shape the role and strategy, as we look to increase fundraising at Scottish Book Trust.
The Fundraising Officer (FO) will develop and maintain our Trusts and Foundations funding pipeline, which includes multiple five and six figure funders. You will be primarily responsible for researching potential funders, writing compelling fundraising applications, managing reporting requirements, and assisting with corporate sponsorships. The FO works closely with every team at Scottish Book Trust to fundraise for a range of literature, arts and education projects. The role will support the Fundraising Manager (FM) and Individual Giving Manager (IGM) to deliver our fundraising strategy and grow our charitable income across all funding streams.
Responsible for fundraising administration including gift processing and thanking, you will also support on fundraising events, impact story gathering, and donor stewardship where required. There is flexibility within the role to incorporate other elements of communications and fundraising if desired. You will be supported to maintain a Chartered Institute of Fundraising membership and pursue CPD.

This position has been created to boost the TUC’s policy capacity at a time of significant shifts in the UK labour market. The role will support our response to various new legislation and a rapidly changing economy.
It will suit someone who has highly developed data analysis skills, who is comfortable applying this experience to policy areas including labour markets and pensions.
What key experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need?
You will need:
- Experience in analysis of primary and secondary data related to labour market trends and living standards
- Experience initiating and carrying through quantitative research projects
- Confident skills in evaluating and communicating a range of data sources from legal material to quantitative data, and using evidence to inform policy development
