About the Role
The Finance officer is responsible for vital financial functions, including recording all financial transactions and assigning income and expenditures to appropriate funds, projects, and cost centres, processing BACS payments and assisting with processing of month end schedules, among other duties. This role is integral to the overall administration of the charity.

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advocate) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients. You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our research grant programmes across the entire funding cycle, from application and peer review through to award management and post-award administration. Senior Researcher
Contract: Fixed term for 24 months
Work Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours per week (We are open to flexible hours and working patterns, including accommodating part-time and compressed hours where possible).
Salary: £40,855 per annum, Nationwide – £44,167 per annum for London
Location: NCB has offices in London, Sheffield, Newton Abbot and Belfast that staff can work from should they choose, or this role can be homebased. NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working with 2 days working in the office if based in London.
The Vacancy
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Researcher to make a significant contribution on a 2-year fixed term contract to the design, delivery and management of research and evidence projects at NCB. Research projects at NCB involve a range of methods, often using a mixed-methods approach, that include evidence synthesis and systematic reviews, literature reviews, primary research using qualitative and quantitative methods and secondary data analysis.
A key focus of this role will be leading and delivering high-quality evidence synthesis, as a core component of our research portfolio.
NCB’s research focuses on a broad range of topic areas on behalf of a range of trusts and foundations, statutory, academic, voluntary and community sector funders, including social care and the transition to adulthood; education; mental health & wellbeing; youth violence and early years.
The postholder will work across a range of projects including the topics above and using a range of methods as appropriate, ensuring their work is delivered to NCB’s quality standards.

In this role, you will own the paid channel marketing activities, managing a blended media mix to drive growth across a suite of products, including home, car and travel insurance. We're looking for a Regional Lead to oversee delivery of the TechFirst programme across the South East. Reporting to the Senior Regional Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating delivery activity, managing a team of three colleagues, and ensuring schools, employers, and partners receive an excellent experience.
