The Membership Administrator is a core operational role responsible for delivering the accurate, timely and compliant administration of Icon’s membership services, whilst ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service to members and stakeholders.

About the Role

JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate Dudley Lodge's impact reporting, fundraising support and business development activities across the organisation.

About the opportunity 
 

You will help drive the quality and impact of our key stage 2 (KS2), key stage 3 (KS3) and key stage 4 (KS4) English tutoring programmes through improving our English resources. You will create training materials and provide advice and support to our volunteers and our (mostly) non-teaching staff members who manage these volunteer tutors day to day. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission. 

The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.

Who are we looking for?

Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.

Hybrid working

The role has a hybrid expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the High Wycombe office (HP11 2QW) to build relationships and provide support to the fundraising team, and there will be flexibility required for other in person meetings and events. CONTEXT

An estimated 12,000 men are raped every year and 76,000 sexually abused or assaulted. Yet just 4% of men will tell someone. Of those who do, it takes on average 26 years to do so.

Survivors UK provides specialist support to (cis and trans*) men and boys, and to non-binary people, who have been raped, sexually assaulted or abused. Our aim is to help any man, boy, or non-binary person, to have the confidence to tell someone what’s happened to them, and to know that it’s OK to seek help. When they do, we want to ensure they have access to the right support so they can deal with the impact of their experiences.

We provide emotional support, information and signposting to survivors and anyone worried about someone they know, through a national website and webchat service (open till 8pm most evenings). Last year, 2,600 people contacted us via our webchat services and social media.

In London, we are the only organisation providing specialist services for men and boys, including individual counselling and therapeutic groupwork, available till 9pm six days a week. Across London, we provide the capital’s only Independent Sexual Advisor (ISVA) Service that helps men and boys through the criminal justice system.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role at Survivors UK which combines counselling and practical support, specifically to the (circa) 150 people who refer themselves for individual counselling with us each year. You will work specifically with young people aged 13+ and people from Black, Asian and Multi-Heritage communities who have experienced sexual violence.

The people served include those with clinical mental health diagnoses, drug and alcohol dependencies, at risk of suicide, homelessness or involved in the sex industry. You will need to be a highly skilled counsellor with experience of dealing with very vulnerable clients, willing to work flexibly and on your own initiative. Importantly, you will be a compassionate person, able to blend therapeutic work with practical support and care.

Main responsibilities include:

• Provide counselling and practical support interventions to boys, men, trans people and non-binary people from the BAM community who have been raped, sexually abused or assaulted with high levels of need and who are most vulnerable.
• Deliver counselling interventions by phone, video calling and face-to-face with clients 13+ years old.
• With clients, develop action plans to help them address emotional and practical needs and ensure clients can engage with a flexible service.
• An ability, interest and commitment to working and developing a therapeutic approach that is culturally attuned to Black, Asian and Multi and Dual Heritage clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely client case notes, ensuring adherence to confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection procedures.
• Support the monitoring and reporting to funders on the development and delivery of the service.

PURPOSE

• Provide counselling and practical support interventions to boys, men and non-binary people who have been raped, sexually abused or assaulted with high levels of need and who are most vulnerable.

The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh Skylight as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Crisis Skylight Edinburgh Team. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.

You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.

Highway Vineyard Church is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our growing multisite church in the London Borough of Newham. This is a varied and hands-on leadership role, overseeing the church's operations across administration, finance, facilities, governance, compliance, health and safety, event support, and organisational systems. This role is for someone who thrives on bringing order, clarity, and excellence behind the scenes. Working closely with the Senior Pastor, leadership team, trustees, staff, volunteers, and external contractors, you will ensure that our buildings, resources, and operational processes are managed efficiently, safely, and sustainably, enabling our ministries to flourish. The successful candidate will be an exceptional organiser with strong administrative and financial skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Bow Church is looking for an organised, proactive and relational Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day life, ministry and mission of our church community.

Bow Church is a vibrant community seeking out the abundant life of following Jesus, encountering the Spirit and growing in the Bible – and helping others in Bow to come, belong, serve, give and grow within that story.

Working closely with the Rector and other leaders, you’ll coordinate the practical rhythms of church life, maintain the systems, communication and organisation that enable the life of the church to flourish, help oversee our buildings, events and governance, and support volunteers, ministry leaders and staff.

This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys helping people, systems and activities work well together. You’ll need strong organisational and interpersonal skills, good judgement and the ability to move confidently between practical administration, relationship-building and day-to-day problem-solving.

This is a permanent, flexible three-day-per-week role (21 hours), including some Sundays and occasional evenings as part of the normal rhythm of church life. Salary: £19,200–£21,600 per annum (£32,000–£36,000 FTE), depending on experience.

There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

About the role

We’re looking for a new HR Lead to build on our existing policies and processes and take our inclusive, and high-performing culture to the next stage. As HR Lead, you will be integrated across the organisation, working at both strategic and operational levels to develop our people practices. You will have experience across the HR spectrum but will be especially skilled at coaching managers, undertaking employee relations casework, recruitment, developing organisational culture, and implementing equity, diversity and inclusion within HR practices. Your ability to build trusting relationships with a wide range of people will set you apart, as will your passion for the work we do.

Flexibility

Our London-based staff operate on a hybrid model, working from our office at London South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the remainder of the week worked from home. Full-time staff are expected to attend the office on both days, while part-time staff are required to attend on one of these days only. We also have staff based outside London who work fully remotely.

The HR Lead role is a two-day-per-week position. We would like the postholder to work from the London office on either Monday or Tuesday (or both days if preferred), with flexibility over when the remaining hours are worked, provided there is a consistent working pattern each week.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team, to support the Head of Procurement to take the department to the next level.

You will use your commercial focus and expertise to drive best practices in our projects, managing various aspects of spending from RfQs for tail-end to tendering on our eProcurement portal for large project procurements.  You will find yourself constantly challenged to come up with innovative ways of thinking and working closely with stakeholders to lead on procurement understanding, driving value for money, strategic projects and managing the supply chain.

You will get involved in a huge variety of projects, from ICT equipment to Marketing and Events, and everything in-between – this means you’ll need to be dynamic and flexible and able to manage your own time well. Sustainability, Social Value and EDI are important to the Trust as a Charity, and so you will strive to embed this in our supply chain with the key suppliers that we work with.

This is an exciting role that the ideal applicant can really make their own and would suit someone who is a self-starter with energy and drive, and a good background in procurement.

Although this role is based in Manchester, you will be expected to travel to our centres across the U.K. with the requirement to stay away from home one or two nights a week if you’re working on key projects in certain areas. Primary locations for this work are Birmingham, Glasgow and London.

We are looking for a committed, highly organised administrator to join our Leeds team on a permanent basis. You will play an important part in helping disabled people, older people and people with long-term conditions access advice, assessments and services that support independence.

William Merritt Disabled Living Centre is a registered charity based in Rodley, Leeds, supporting people across Yorkshire and beyond. We have grown significantly over the last decade and now employ around 40 staff across a range of services and locations.

You will receive training across our administration services which include: reception, assessment booking, training & room hire, driving school support and shopmobility cover. As we grow, we are looking for someone who can help us improve, document and embed clear administrative procedures for the future.
