Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. For this role, we need someone to come into the office at least one day a week, on a Tuesday. A day where all of Income Generation come into the office. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.
Contractually this role is London-based.
Contract: 8 Month Contract ending on 31 March 2027

The Conference Manager (FTC) plays a significant part in delivering Hospice UK’s programme of conferences for our hospice membership. As a newly created position, you will take the lead on our one-day conferences while also supporting the delivery of our annual National Conference.

The Team
The Conference team is made up of the Senior Conference manager and the Programmes Team Administrator, with support from the Deputy Director of Programmes, Director of Programmes and subject matter experts across the organisation.
It is a mighty team of two, managing a portfolio of 5 in person conferences across the year, from our role focused one-day conferences of around 130 - 150 delegates to our annual National Conference, which welcomes over 1000 delegates.Our team works across the organisation and collaborates with lots of internal and external stakeholders.

The Giving Directorate has four teams: Innovation & Insight (leading on innovations, the parish share project, data analysis and marketing); Parish Giving Scheme (giving mechanisms and technology); NZC Fundraising (including policy, philanthropy and gifts in wills) and Learning & Development (delivering training, mentoring, and equipping clergy and diocesan giving advisors, national and regional conferences, and developing online learning resources for parishes).
You will sit within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team which leads the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure the significant additional funding needed to decarbonise the Church of England.
What you'll be doing
Legacies have historically played a transformative role for the Church of England - sustaining parish ministry, helping deliver the 30,000+ community projects run by parishes every year, conserving historic buildings and enabling important work for the future, including Net Zero Carbon projects. There is significant untapped potential for legacy giving to make an even bigger difference to our work, but awareness is uneven, and local church leaders often lack the training and resources to talk confidently about gifts in wills.
As the Gifts in Wills Manager, you will lead an ambitious new legacy programme to significantly expand the support and resources available for all parts of the Church of England to effectively encourage legacy giving. This will include creating new legacy giving resources that can be used by parishes, cathedrals and Dioceses as well as new training for local parish volunteers, clergy and senior leaders.
Gifts in wills have the potential for significantly enhancing the work of the church in caring for God's creation, being the culmination of a person's lifetime of commitment and care for the church and God's creation. The role will include specifically looking to develop NZC cases for support as a way to encourage gifts in wills, through linking the ongoing and perpetual care of God's creation with the long term impact of gifts in wills.
Through your work you will create a culture shift where legacy giving is demystified to become a natural part of Christian discipleship. The increased number and generosity of legacy gifts pledged and received will make a long-lasting impact on the financial ability of parishes, cathedrals, and dioceses to fund their ministry and social impact in the communities they serve.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.
The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. Key Responsibilities
Major SOHK Events
- Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
- Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
- Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
- Source high value auction and raffle prizes
- Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
- Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
- Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up
Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)
- Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed

The impact you will have
As the Events and Community Fundraising Manager you will lead the delivery of events and community activity that engages people to raise vital funds for Missing People. Missing People relies on support from individual members of the public who take on an event or activity to raise awareness and vital funds for missing people and the charity. What the job involves
We’re looking an Events and Community Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.
Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:
· our own events (e.g. March for Men)
· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)
· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)
· Golf Days
· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity
You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.
Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Community Fundraising sub-team, supporting people organising their own fundraiser, from bake sales to head shaves and unique walking and cycling challenges. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.
You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. Accountability and Objectives of the role
Strategic Focus
- Support the co-ordination and delivery of agreed operational plans and programme by providing quarterly reports on performance against the targets in the annual delivery plan, for the board and key stakeholders.
- Drive the development of boccia delivery in key regions, aligned with Sport England place-based investment priorities.
- Collect, collate and report data, insight and learning related to the delivery of the Boccia
England operational plan
- Support the implementation of the People Plan for our external workforce at a local level where identified
- Work with colleagues to secure new funding to resource the development and growth of boccia in regions.
Relationship Building – Lead the initiation and development of a nationwide regional community boccia infrastructure model.
- Develop and manage a network of key partners to create opportunities that connect, engage, and empower physically disabled people and wider communities through a range of Boccia initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key identified partners to ensure Boccia England maximizes the opportunities to grow the sport of boccia
- Plan, promote, and deliver engagement events such as the Big Boccia Conversation, creating opportunities for partners and stakeholders to network, share ideas, and explore ways to increase participation in Boccia and disability sport.
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish new clubs, strengthen school engagement, and ensure the sustainability of participation growth.
Programme Development
- Promote and support the delivery of Try Boccia, providing partners with the tools, resources, and guidance required to deliver inclusive Boccia sessions across a range of community settings
- Support the development of local and regional Boccia communities, building their capacity to deliver sustainable participation opportunities across clubs and Try Boccia sites.
- Deliver a roadmap of initiatives across key locations to drive participation through a range of Boccia programmes.
Finance and Budget Management - Ensure effective processes are in place to manage and report on budgets.
- Coordinate annual budget planning and monitoring of performance against budgets.
- Effectively manage and monitor the specific budgets for participation and development programmes, with clear means of measuring progress.
- With the senior leadership team, ensure the preparation of relevant and appropriate quarterly financial reports to the Board.
EDI and Safeguarding
- Promote and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of work. Ensure accessibility and inclusive practices are integrated into all working processes, creating a workplace and culture that is welcoming, equitable, and representative of all communities.

We're looking for a Fundraising Manager, Trusts & Statutory to join our Development team and grow our income from charitable trusts and foundations. You'll manage a portfolio of high-value funders, craft compelling proposals, and forge the kind of long-term relationships that sustain our work in 22 of the UK's most under-resourced communities.
What you'll be doing
- Building and managing a pipeline of five and six-figure trust and foundation grants
- Writing persuasive, evidence-rich funding applications and stewardship reports
- Developing deep, lasting relationships with funders at all levels, from programme officers to trustees
- Working in close collaboration with programme leads and the senior management team to align bids with our strategy

We are looking for a proactive and organised Individual Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery of our individual giving and digital fundraising programme during a maternity cover period.

About the role
The Programme Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the Trust's programme partnerships, training delivery, and organisational systems.
