This is an exciting new opportunity in the Strategic Communications Team at the Foundation.

At Cruse we believe bereaved people should not be alone in their grief. We provide expert bereavement and grief training and support.
Cruse has over 3,500 volunteers who provide bereavement support in a range of ways including answering helpline call, support through understanding your bereavement sessions, and one-to-one and group support. We provide a wide range of training for organisations and individuals, through grief awareness webinars and essential bereavement support training.
As a trainer at Cruse Bereavement Support, you will play a key role in equipping volunteers, individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge to support bereaved individuals. We offer 25 days of annual leave, with an additional day a year added after two years (to a maximum of 30 days). In addition, we add an extra five days as a one off, once you have been with us for five years. Leave will be pro rata for part time staff.
We have a hybrid-working model with most work done remotely. A minimum of 2-3 days per month in the London office. Staff have the opportunity to apply for flexible working arrangements to suit individual´s needs.
Other relevant information
Term: This is an initial fixed term contract for 12 months
Salary: £35-38,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience
Working hours: 22.5 hours/week, over at least 3 days, based on a timetable to be agreed. All ISEAL’s finance team currently work on Wednesdays.
Location: The role is mostly done remotely, but London is the formal base and office presence required 3 days per month during probation, 2 days per month thereafter. Applicants will need to provide evidence that they are entitled to work in the UK.
International travel: The post holder may be required to undertake occasional international travel
Annual leave: 25 days pro rata
Ideal Start Date: mid November

The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites in and around Wolverhampton and Telford. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

The Survivor Movement and Participation Lead is a strategic leadership role at the heart of the Enhanced Mental Health Pathway (EMHP) Alliance Partnership, dedicated to amplifying survivor voices and driving systemic change.
You will lead the development of a high-quality survivor involvement programme across the Alliance, ensuring that the voices, experiences and expertise of survivors of sexual abuse, sexual assault and sexual violence shape service design, referral pathways, workforce development, communications and evaluation.
This role is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-racist and culturally grounded care frameworks, ensuring survivors are not only heard but actively shape strategies, influence policy and lead change.
