About the Role
We’re looking to recruit a Research Manager to support the delivery of our strategic research portfolio. This role will involve managing and delivering research design, data collection, analysis and reporting, while working collaboratively with colleagues across Homeless Link, member organisations, academics, government officials, partners and people with lived experience.
The successful candidate will be an excellent project manager with strong quantitative research skills. They will have communication and relationship building skills, understanding of interpreting research findings in wider policy contexts, and of making strategic recommendations for national and local policy and decision makers. About the role
There are 2 Policy Officer roles in the Health and Care Policy team available. The team focuses on shaping the future of the health and social care system in the UK to ensure the best care for all, by supporting more evidence-informed policy and decision-making. One officer will work across a range of thematic areas, and one will focus initially on technology and AI, with the opportunity to work across other areas further down the line. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. The Head of Research and Policy will lead the trust's research, evidence and advocacy work.

You will have a strong understanding of the issues facing Muslim communities in the UK and a proven ability to use evidence to influence policy and decision-makers.
An outstanding communicator and analytical thinker, you will be confident interpreting complex data, engaging senior stakeholders and producing compelling written outputs for a wide range of audiences. A confident public speaker, you will be comfortable presenting to government officials, parliamentarians and the media whilst also able to mobilise others to advocate and campaign. We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Learning and Development Officer to join our adults’ team on a part-time basis (28 hours per week, 0.8 FTE).

Contract: Permanent
Work Pattern: Part Time, 35 hours per week (0.8 FTE).
Salary: £34,408 per annum, FTE (£27,526 per annum for 28 hours per week)
Location: Homebased – however NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working, staff can work remotely or from our Newton Abbot, Devon TQ12 or Central Sheffield Research in Practice offices if they wish
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled facilitator with strong experience in adult social care (or a related sector, e.g. housing, homelessness, mental health or criminal justice) who is motivated to make a real impact. While the role requires a solid understanding of research and its application, it is not a primary research post—the focus is on translating evidence into meaningful learning and development opportunities.
You will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality learning experiences, including programmes, full-day workshops, webinars, and events, working with diverse audiences such as senior leaders and practitioners.

Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research and Production Officer to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we launched Testimony 360 in June 2024, a digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can interact with a recorded testimony of a Holocaust survivor, before seeing some of the sites they experienced using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Programmes Team, responsible for the research, post-production, testing and maintenance of interactive recorded testimony to ensure fluency and usability in the classroom. They will also be responsible for the ethical representation and engagement with the testimonies. We are looking for an individual with experience in research, with an understanding of the sensitive use of testimony, as well as experience of data management systems and platforms used for interactive testimony. They will have the ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and programmes. As an expert in Holocaust education, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our Testimony 360 programme through research and development of new content or digital resources.

We are seeking an agile and collaborative Policy and Communications Officer to join our small but mighty team. The Policy and Communications Officer will sit at the heart of CJA’s impact, combining policy research, member engagement, and digital communications to amplify our work and effect systemic change. They will prepare and distribute the weekly CJA e-bulletin; create engaging digital content across social media; draft CJA policy responses, briefings, and consultation submissions; undertake desk research on priority areas (such as policing accountability, diversion, and racial disparities) and assist in co-ordinating member meetings, policy roundtables, and events.
This is an exciting and varied role created at a pivotal moment as we approach our 20th anniversary and begin developing our 2027-30 strategy.
