Job Description
Freedom for Animals is one of the UK's longest-running animal rights organisations. Since 1957, we have been working to end the exploitation of animals through undercover investigations, research, campaigns, political lobbying, education and grassroots activism. Our vision is simple: Freedom for all animals.
We are now seeking an experienced Social Media Officer to help grow our online community, inspire action and strengthen Freedom for Animals' digital presence.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in sharing powerful stories, promoting campaigns and engaging supporters across our social media channels. Working closely with our Co-Directors, Campaigns and Fundraising teams, and Graphic Designer, you will help communicate our work across our key campaign areas, including zoos, aquariums, mobile zoos, circuses, bird of prey centres and the exotic pet trade.
The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated and ambitious team where every member has the opportunity to make a real impact. You will plan and schedule engaging social media content, write compelling copy, help deliver coordinated campaign and fundraising activity, monitor performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
We're looking for someone who understands how to use social media to inform, inspire and mobilise audiences. You'll be confident planning content, writing engaging copy, identifying trends and opportunities, and ensuring our social media channels reflect Freedom for Animals' voice, values and mission.
You will have experience managing social media accounts, excellent copywriting and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues. A strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics and audience engagement is essential, together with a genuine commitment to animal rights.

Lead the operations, governance and compliance that enable Solving Kids' Cancer UK to deliver its mission and impact for children and families affected by neuroblastoma. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the charity operates effectively, compliantly and sustainably.
This broad and varied leadership role spans governance, risk, HR, IT, data protection and organisational operations, supporting delivery of the charity's strategy through robust systems, policies and processes. Acting as Company Secretary, you will work closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees, providing advice on governance, regulatory requirements and best practice. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will oversee key operational functions, lead cross-organisational projects and deputise for the CEO where required.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a strategic, highly organised and values-driven leader with strong experience in charity operations, governance and compliance. You will have a track record of ensuring organisations are well run, compliant and effectively managed, with the ability to oversee multiple operational areas and support strong governance and decision-making at Board level.
You will be comfortable working across a broad remit, including governance, risk, HR, IT and data protection, and confident providing clear, practical advice to senior leaders and trustees.

Job summary
We're looking for an organised, proactive individual to own the day-to-day running of our grant pipeline. This will range from researching grant opportunities and drafting applications, through to managing compliance, tracking grant finances, and delivering funder reports. You’ll be working closely with the Founder and School Engagement Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive fundraiser who enjoys both bid writing and relationship building.
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in securing income from trusts and foundations, supporting donor stewardship, and helping to grow community fundraising activity.
