About the Royal School for the Blind Charity
The Royal School for the Blind Charity Liverpool is a charity that runs both a School for young people aged 2-19 years old and an adult day service for young adults over the age of 19 with vision impairment, sensory, or additional needs. Although our funding comes from a variety of sources, we are starting to fundraise to support our income and make our work more sustainable for the future. Income generated will support the development of our pupils and young adults, prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life and encourage their independence, communication and mobility.

Term: Two-year fixed term in the first instance, with the ambition to establish fundraising as a sustainable long-term function within the charity.
This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a new fundraising operation from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in the long-term growth and sustainability of the Royal School for the Blind Charity. As the function develops, there will be scope to expand its reach and impact, offering excellent potential for career progression.
The Charity Development Manager will lead efforts to secure vital income that underpins the charity’s vision and purpose, driving support through donor engagement, targeted campaigns, and strategic fundraising initiatives. Our long-term ambition is to build a diversified fundraising programme capable of generating approximately £400,000 annually. This role will be instrumental in developing and delivering a growing, high-performing fundraising portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who can design and deliver a robust, evidence-based fundraising strategy. This will involve gaining a deep understanding of the charity’s mission, stakeholders, and audiences, as well as the broader funding landscape, creating a diversified and effective approach that maximizes income and long-term sustainability. This is an exciting time for the Charity as we become much more outward-looking. Alongside our existing work, we have begun a capital building project to enhance our resources. When completed, the new Rushton Centre will house facilities which are open to the public, including a hydrotherapy pool and a café. At the heart of this is a wish to make the Royal School for the Blind Charity part of the fabric of the City.
In this new post we are looking for someone who can help open up our work to the wider public: the role is well suited to an experienced fundraiser looking for autonomy and the opportunity to help shape the next chapter in the charity’s history.
Although this is a new standalone fundraising role, you won't be building the function in isolation. The post sits within a well-established and supportive team and will be strategically led by the Charity Leadership group and Board of Trustees. In addition, you will have access to colleagues across our services to help bring our impact to life, and support to develop campaigns and engage new audiences. Alongside this, the Charity is currently fundraising for a capital project for a significant new building to resource our activities and reach out into the wider community. Whilst this is a separate project, in the future there will be exciting opportunities to link the new building into the core fundraising strategy.

The Regional Fundraising Manager (National Programme Development) will lead the creation, development and delivery of Camphill Village Trust’s community fundraising programme.
You will establish community fundraising as a sustainable and growing income stream across the trust by creating a framework that can be scaled across Camphill Village Trust nationally.
This role combines strategic planning, relationship building, and programme development but also encompasses hands-on delivery across our northern communities. You will play a key role in raising awareness of Camphill Village Trust, strengthening community connections and creating opportunities for supporters to help more people with learning disabilities and autism live extraordinary lives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver a community fundraising strategy that lays the foundations for long-term national growth.
- Develop and manage the community fundraising budget and forecasting processes.
- Design and launch engaging fundraising products including DIY fundraising, challenge events, in-house events, schools, community groups and local organisations.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days per week based within Camphill Village Trust communities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being out in the community. This is not a desk-based fundraising role. You will spend significant time building relationships, identifying opportunities, meeting supporters and representing Camphill Village Trust across the region.
The successful candidate should live within reasonable commuting distance of our three communities in the north-east (based in North Yorkshire and Middlesbrough). Regular travel across the region and occasional travel to other Trust communities will be required, along with some overnight stays, evening and weekend work.

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving and Legacy Assistant to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.
This role sits within the Individual Giving and Legacy team which includes an Individual Giving Fundraiser and a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser. The role also works closely with colleagues across the community, marketing and finance teams to deliver supporter journeys, website content, and the smooth running of fundraising campaigns.
The post-holder supports the generation of income and delivers an excellent supporter experience. They ensure supporters and enquirers receive a prompt, warm, and appropriate response at every stage of their journey with the Alder Hey Children's Charity.
The role is responsible for maintaining accurate supporter records on the Charity's CRM system (Salesforce), helping supporter administration (including Gift Aid, tribute pages, and regular giving processes), and assisting with the coordination of legacy enquiries, pledgers, and the free Will Writing service.

Additional Information

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the role of Primary Futures Project Manager for Education and Employers charity supporting the delivery of our internationally recognised career-related learning programme in primary schools. The programme is called Inspiring the Future and is known as Primary Futures in primary schools.
Through our programmes, our charity brings inspiring volunteers from the world of work into schools, helping children learn in a fun way about a wide range of future jobs and career pathways, broadening their horizons and raising their aspirations and attainment. This important role will manage and lead the day-to-day delivery of a key primary school focused project for the charity, funded by the Westminster Foundation. About the role
- 3 days (24 hours) per week (flexible working encouraged, hours spread across several days per week preferred)
- Hybrid working across our Kensington main office and somehome working. The exact split between remote/onsite working will be by agreement with the line manager and to meet the needs of the service which could change over time.
- Salary range from £28k to £31k (FTE) depending on experience, with the expectation that all desirable and essential attributes within the job description should be in evidence to achieve the top of this range (see job pack on our website)

This is a crucial role to support our Advice Services team. They are the gatekeepers of our work, being the first point of contact for our clients, most of whom will be struggling and may be both emotionally and physically vulnerable. You may be the first person many of our clients will have spoken to about their issues and being able to put them at ease in a professional, yet warm and friendly manner is incredibly important. You will get to make the first impression of Crosslight and help build trust and engagement from the very start.
The role is varied but will involve handling new client enquiries in person and on the phone, understanding their situations, assessing their needs, booking and coordinating appointments, providing information, and acting as an advocate for the work we do.

Absolute Support Leading Light (ASLL) is looking for an inspiring, values-led Chief Executive to lead the charity through its next stage of development. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced leader to work closely with the Board of Trustees, senior leadership team, staff, commissioners, families and the people we support to sustain and grow high-quality outreach and supported living services for people with learning disabilities and autism.
ASLL is a small local charity based in Richmond-upon-Thames supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. Founded in 2006 and registered as a charity in 2019, Absolute Support has built a solid reputation as a caring provider with a warm and supportive home setting for the people we support. Through our two community-based, supported living homes and via a small outreach service, we work to enable 11 young adults to live happy and meaningful lives.
You will lead a skilled and committed staff team within a welcoming and collaborative culture whilst being supported by the active and experienced board of trustees. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, strengthen governance and quality assurance, oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and act as the organisation's lead spokesperson.
Job title: Chief Executive Officer.
Location: Office-based at ASLL's Teddington office, with regular travel to the locally based client sites.
Working hours: 24 hours (3 days per week).
Salary: £60,000 FTE (£36,000 based on 24 hours per week).
Regulatory role: CQC Nominated Individual (designate) for ASLL's regulated activity, pending CQC registration.
