About the role
Your key purpose will be to support the successful day to day running of our brand new Twickenham shop, making this an exciting opportunity to be part of a new role from the very beginning. Working alongside the Shop Manager, you will help maximise sales, deliver excellent customer service, and lead and support a team of volunteers to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. You will play an important role in processing and merchandising donations, promoting Gift Aid, maintaining high shop standards, and ensuring the shop operates efficiently and in line with relevant policies and procedures.
About you
This role requires experience of supporting the management of a retail environment, including knowledge of customer service, cash handling, stock management, and health and safety practices. You will be organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy setting, with the ability to motivate and support volunteers, prioritise competing demands, and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills are essential, along with a flexible approach and a willingness to work weekends as part of a rota.

About the role

You will manage Assistant Shop Managers and a team of volunteers to maximise income, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain high retail standards. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing stock and donations, creating engaging displays, overseeing shop finances, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. You will also play a key role in promoting Gift Aid, identifying high-value items, supporting charity initiatives, and ensuring the shop remains a welcoming and well-presented environment for customers, volunteers and supporters alike.
About you
This role requires experience of managing a retail environment, including responsibility for sales performance, customer service, cash handling and health and safety compliance. You will have experience leading and motivating staff, with the ability to build strong relationships and create a positive and inclusive team culture. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise competing demands and confidence in making operational decisions are essential. Experience of working with volunteers, charity retail, EPOS reporting and identifying opportunities to maximise income would be advantageous. You will be the main person responsible for our UK phone line and be the first point of contact
for our many supporters. You will be working closely with the rest of the Supporter Care Team to ensure every interaction supporters have with our charity is a positive one and that they understand how integral they are to our mission.
You will communicate with supporters on our progress and ensure we utilise every opportunity for positive engagement. You’ll work with a wide range of people, efficiently gathering and providing information as well responding to whatever queries or situations may arise.
As a Supporter Services Executive, you will be working closely with our external fulfilment partners, ensuring that they deliver the high standard of service that we and our supporters expect. With them, you will provide a seamless, first-class end-to-end donor experience.

Qualifications, knowledge & skills required:

Headway Gloucestershire was established in 1987 and since then has been working to make a positive difference to the lives of people over 18 with an acquired brain injury. We provide specialist recovery support and respite through the following services
- OurCommunity Links Service provides outreach information, specialist brain injury recoveryadvice for people with an acquired brain injury and their families and supports them as they come toterms with the changed circumstances brought about by brain injury. The service includes benefits advice and collaborative working with other organisations such as Adult Social Services, Housing Providers and other VCSE organisations
- Our Enablement Service is centre based and open every weekday offering activities that focus on the five elements of rehabilitation: emotional functioning; cognitive functioning; learning; social interaction and behaviour. This takes the form of a structured timetable so that those with an acquired brain injury can select the activities thathelp them work towards their goals.We work one to one and also employ a group format to harness theunique recovery benefits of peer contact and support.
- OurCarer Support Groups provide a relaxed environment withinthe community where people with an acquired brain injury and their families can meet new people, share experiences and support each other.We provide training events, social events and facilitate familysupport groups.
- Our Peer Support Groups provide an opportunity once a month in different locations for people with an acquired brain injury to discuss topics of interest and to share challenges, tips and provide positive support.
- Our Community Hubs are delivered in locations around the county in community venues and are tailored to the needs of the group for up to 3 hours. They include physical exercise sessions, focussed discussion groups, advice and support related to acquired brain injury and the opportunity to develop a local support network
- Our Hospital Liaison service is where we attend the Gloucester Royal Hospital once every two weeks at an agreed time to offer support to individuals and their family during the early stages of rehabilitation.
Headway Gloucestershire is a busy, growing charity providing services to people with an acquired brain injury and their families and carers. Every year we are challenged to raise funds to help deliver our services.
CEO Role
You will lead and motivate a small team of staff and volunteers and work with them to provide a person centred, enabling and outcome focused support service to people over 18 with an acquired brain injury. You will seek opportunities for planned development and growth and build on the success of our existing services to increase our offer.
You will act as principal spokesperson and advocate for the charity, demonstrating integrity and commitment to key stakeholders, partners and donors to ensure the best outcomes for people affected by brain injury in the Gloucestershire area.
You will be joining at an exciting time as we work together with health and social care partners to monitor and understand the needs of people with brain injury in Gloucestershire and influence the pathway for rehabilitation and longer-term support.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a small organisation in the charity or care sector, developing strategy and business plans, a track record of securing funding in a tough financial climate, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team of staff and volunteers.

This role provides high-quality, person-centred support to up to 15 Service Users across Kingston, promoting independent living and wellbeing. It involves assessing individual needs, developing personalised SMART support plans, and helping Service Users manage mental health, physical health, finances, and relationships.
The role includes liaising with families, carers, and partner agencies, encouraging engagement in meaningful activities, and supporting access to treatment and employment opportunities. It adopts a holistic ‘Think Family' approach and flexible working
hours. The postholder ensures service delivery aligns with organisational values and contributes to service improvement through co-production and active Service User involvement.

About the Role:
The role of the Domestic Abuse Team Leader is to provide operational support and management to a team of Independent Domestic Violence advisors (IDVAs) that provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse in Cumbria. The Step-Up service provides accommodation-based support which acts on a model to prevent people having the need to go into hospital. OneSky is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our corporate and foundation partnerships outside of Asia. The Director of Partnerships is a seasoned international NGO fundraiser and an excellent communicator and collaborator. They will have a track record in building, maintaining, and stewarding new and long-term corporate and foundation donor relationships, and soliciting and securing gifts of USD$50,000 and up. They will oversee a portfolio of existing funders while also developing a pipeline of new potential institutional funders.
Reports to: Senior Director of Partnerships

Role requirements:
- Solicit and secure grants and sponsorships that allow OneSky programs to flourish.
- Collaborate with other global team members to grow and diversify foundation and corporate partnership opportunities. Continually research and identify prospective corporate and foundation donors across multiple sectors that align with our mission priorities to maintain a robust and diverse prospect pipeline.
- Develop and maintain strategic, high-level relationships with funding partners and prospects in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the Director of Grants to develop and submit competitive and compelling proposals, reports, budgets, and supporting materials by their due dates.
- Work with Finance, Communications, Program and MEAL staff across the organization to ensure accurate and consistent messaging in all OneSky funding proposals and reports.
- Ensure funder engagement benefits and deliverables are met or exceeded within the required timeframe.
- Establish consistent use of the CRM function of Salesforce to track pertinent donor and prospect information, cultivation, and stewardship.
- Represent OneSky at regional industry conferences, meetings (virtual and in-person), program site visits, and fundraising events.as required.
- Monitor and provide regular updates to leadership regarding fundraising strategies, activities, prospects, progress, and revenue.
- Undertake any additional fundraising activities that may be necessary and compatible with the nature of this role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in generating significant income from foundations and corporate partners for nonprofit purposes
- Demonstrated success in developing and stewarding long-term philanthropic partnerships
- Experience working across cultures and managing stakeholder relationships in multiple countries
- Superior project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to making the world a better place for young children
- Based in the UK or US
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or child welfare INGO
- Salesforce NPSP proficiency, or similar CRM
