Branching Out supports young people aged 16–21 across Newark and Retford. As Project Manager, you will lead, develop and inspire the team to ensure young people receive high‑quality, strengths‑based support that enables them to achieve their full potential.

This is a busy, rewarding and dynamic service, focused on supporting young people to grow in confidence, life skills and independence. Our approach is rooted in strengths‑based practice, helping young people build resilience and move forward positively.

Our team plays a critical role in advocating for young people, from liaising with partner agencies to secure permanent accommodation, through to supporting access to education, employment and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

As Project Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

· Recruiting, selecting and inducting new colleagues

· Managing performance through supervisions, development plans and CLEAR conversations

· Managing workplace health and safety risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations

· Meeting statutory and organisational quality requirements

· Developing, monitoring and achieving designated cost centre income and expenditure targets

Work Hours – 37 hours a week

The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You will be required to work early, late and some weekends which will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.

Employability Coordinator 

Our team is growing and we're looking for a skilled, people-focused coordinator to join us in making a real difference for young carers across Dorset.

You will be working within Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. You will work within the advocacy team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year. 
 
You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors and hold responsibility for part of the operational team management. Your work will focus on needs across all specialisms within Galop: domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, so-called honour-based abuse and conversion practices as they pertain to children and young people. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care. 
 
You will manage a small number of specialist young people’s advocates providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT victims and survivors. You will also be responsible for scheduling team meetings and reflective spaces and support in chairing these spaces. You will support with ensuring the needs of the wider Children and Young People’s (CYP)  team are understood and opportunities for them to develop their practice are created.
 
As Team Lead, you may also be the first point of contact that many LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence have within the National Advocacy and Support team. You will be partly responsible for triaging new referrals that come into service from across the UK and allocating them to the Children and Young People’s team. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and values‑led Accommodation & Facilities Manager to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and welcoming management of all Baca accommodation, offices and service delivery spaces.

This is a critical role within our service model. You will ensure that young people are provided with homes they can truly call their own, while staff and volunteers have safe, functional, culturally respectful environments in which to work. You will also lead our premises team and work closely with contractors, landlords and partners to deliver high‑quality, compliant properties across our services.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of all Baca accommodation, offices, and service delivery spaces applying practical and technical knowledge and experience to diagnose maintenance issues, oversee and complete repairs.

About Spear

We launched the award-winning Spear Programme over 20 years ago, and there are now 18 Spear Centres across the country, equipping unemployed 16–24-year-olds facing barriers to employment with the skills and mindset they need to secure work and thrive in the workplace.

About the role

The Social Media Executive sits in the Media & Communications’ team and plays a key role in elevating Spear’s brand and mission by producing engaging, story-driven digital content, with a strong focus on video, for social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This role centres on amplifying the voices and experiences of young people on the Spear Programme, creating authentic content that inspires audiences including young people, supporters and corporate partners.

Based in London, but working with colleagues across Spear Centres nationwide, the Social Media Executive will create engaging content in line with our social media strategy. Working from concept to filming, editing, and performance analysis, this role will also empower coaches, alumni and ambassadors to produce user-generated content. The role requires creativity, adaptability to digital trends, and strong relationship-building skills to capture impactful stories.

About the Role:

Here at Construction Youth Trust, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and ready to dive into a supported internship. This is a fantastic chance to get a hands-on feel for what it's like to work in the charity sector. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the Trust e.g. participation in strategic working groups.

We are particularly looking for individuals at the start of their career interested in working directly with young people within our Delivery Team. Also, as one of our interns, you'll gain valuable skills to kickstart your career, with the prospect of progressing into a Coordinator role with us . Plus, you'll have an internal buddy to support you and help you settle in throughout your internship.

As a Delivery Team Intern, your key duties and responsibilities could include:

· Supporting the team to deliver fun and engaging programmes and activities for young people (primarily in schools/colleges and with employers) to get them ready for the working world by building on their skills and confidence.

· Supporting the team in the development of effective long-term working relationships with schools and referral partners.

· Supporting the team to enlist, manage and coordinate the support of local industry partners to connect young people with opportunities and employers that match their unique strengths and interests.

· Supporting the team with administrative tasks, helping to register, monitor, and evaluate the young people participating in programmes and activities.

· Please note that you will be required to travel across London regularly

About You

The Construction Youth Trust team works in a fast-paced environment, what we are looking for in our new Intern(s) includes:

· Enthusiastic about connecting young people to opportunities, particularly those facing barriers to work.

· Good organisational skills, detail orientated and proactive in finding solutions.

· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, as our Intern you will be expected to get involved in a variety of our programmes and activities.

· IT literate and digitally savvy

· Ability to communicate professionally with a range of people including young people, schools, funders, universities, industry representatives, training providers and community organisations.

· A willingness to learn about career opportunities offered by the modern construction and wider built environment sector.

· Ideally educated to Level 3 (BTEC, A- Level, etc) or equivalent experience.

Position Title:  Senior Lead Gender Coalition

Level: Level 5

Salary: £39, 000 - 44, 000 (FTE yearly)

Reports to: Associate Director of Partnerships

Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 2 days’ work from our office (Pro rata for part time)

Contract: Fulltime (40hrs/weekly), fixed-term project contract for 1 year with potential for Part time (e.g., 32hrs/weekly) extension subject to funding.

Hours: TAA has flexible working hours, with some expected evenings (e.g., one 9pm finish once every two weeks) and weekends due to the nature of the role. All extra hours are reimbursed as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.

Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective. 

We want youth organising to be enshrined in the UK for generations to come, and for young people to have tangible political power to influence national policy. That’s why we have launched two national coalitions, one around climate, and the other around gender. Each will train organisations across the country to become youth organisers and work together to bring 100 young people together to identify the strategy and tactics needed to achieve change. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. You will coordinate our Gender Coalition – Power in Balance. You will be accountable for the development and delivery of our Gender Coalition programme Power in Balance, including but not limited to:

• Coordinating efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programme, working primarily with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships, and in connection with others that need to feed into the programme.
• Proactively build relationships with our coalition partners. This involves: 
  • Holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen our connection, supporting partners to identify and act on their developing political interests, and ensuring they meet coalition milestones
  •  It also includes providing ongoing support around campaigns and community organising, enabling partners to lead and deliver local actions following the Summer Camp.
• Lead the Youth Steering Group. This involves: 
  • Providing strategic oversight and facilitation of the Youth Steering Group, ensuring consistent engagement, strong attendance, and meaningful youth voice throughout the programme.
  • Setting clear agendas, supporting members to contribute confidently, and ensuring insights are captured and translated into programme design and delivery. 
  • Working closely with partners to maintain alignment and ensure the group reflects the diversity and needs of the young people Power in Balance serves.
• Lead the development of the Summer Camp. As part of this, you will be required to attend the Power in Balance Summer Camp (15th - 19th August 2026) to build your understanding of the model, support delivery, and become familiar with best practice in preparation for future leadership of the programme. In addition, you will:
  • Work closely with the Associate Director of Partnerships to oversee the delivery of the Power in Balance Summer Camp, ensuring all elements are well-coordinated, high-quality, and aligned with programme outcomes.
  • Take ownership of key logistics, including timelines, partner coordination, and on-the-ground delivery, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for all participants. 
  • Support and enact mechanisms to capture learning and feedback throughout, ensuring insights are gathered effectively to inform real-time improvements and future iterations of the camp.
• You will ensure that Power in Balance runs like a well-oiled machine by pulling in the right people at the right time to ensure key milestones are met:
  • Coordinate and maintain a suite of behind-the-scenes systems, processes and resources to keep things running like clockwork and provide transparency and help build trust
  • Coordinate the holding of safeguarding, risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met.
  • Maintain the clear monitoring and evaluation frameworks for your work which allow you and your team to learn, test, and re-test as you build, in partnership with young people and other partners
• Hold the budget for the Power in Balance Programme, ensuring that all activities are run within financial targets, working closely with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships to maintain oversight, identify efficiencies and potential savings, and proactively flag any risks or opportunities that may impact delivery or budget adherence.

2. You will support our wider partnerships work. Support the Associate Director of Partnerships to deliver our overall partnerships strategy. This will include, but is not limited:

• Working closely with the Senior Lead for Climate Coalition to identify opportunities for collaboration and reducing duplication
• Work closely with the Programmes, Organising and Campaigns, and Community teams to develop training on organising and campaigning.
• Deliver ad hoc workshops and meetings, holding space effectively and designing and delivering creative learning journeys for young people.

3. You will be a key member of the Programme Team, including but not limited to:

• Support efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programmes Team each financial year.
• Support the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships with the management and mitigation of organisational risks presented by the Coalition by escalating issues in a timely manner and contributing to effective problem solving.
• Contribute to the delivery of wider organisational programmes beyond Power in Balance, including providing support to initiatives such as Ignite and other internal programme delivery as required, ensuring alignment with team priorities and organisational goals.

4.Share responsibilities for achieving our strategic objectives by upholding our vision, mission, strategy, ideology, and cultural values within your area and across TAA, supporting on cross-departmental projects as needed:

• Embody our commitment to social and economic justice, ensuring this is consistently reflected in decision-making, delivery and partnerships

5.Governance and Compliance

• Work with your team and the Finance, HR and Operations team to prioritise and centre risk management in your portfolio: feeding into risk analysis and mitigation, identifying and escalating risks to the strategic objectives, taking the lead to mitigate risks early and thoroughly.
• Hold oversight of risk within your area, ensuring appropriate systems and practices are in place and consistently applied
• Ensure understanding and compliance with TAA policies and practices and take the lead on their implementation within your portfolio

• At least 5 years of experience in supporting people to be more confident and comfortable developing and implementing organising or campaign efforts.

Reporting to: Accommodation and Facilities Manager

Location: Baca office, Loughborough, England. The role will require regular travel to other locations where Baca’s services are delivered

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week including some evening and weekend hours may be required

Salary: £26,750 per annum

Overall Purpose

To provide maintenance support to the organisation, ensuring premises are maintained at a standard that will serve the mission of Baca. This will include properties across Loughborough and 2 office sites.

Duties Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct required maintenance at all Baca sites. The below list is not exhaustive but some of the below skills will be required to fulfil the role; General Plumbing; bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs, blocked toilets & sinks etc, Painting and Decorating, Basic carpentry skills, Meter Reading for electricity and gas meters, Fire Testing; routine testing of smoke and CO alarms.
• To become familiar and actively use the Baca’s maintenance management system which aids the reactive and planned works across all sites.
• Communicating with contractors, residential workers and landlords as required, ensuring repairs and maintenance is conducted when planned.
• Administering quarterly checks, quarterly cleans, health and safety requirements and annual servicing such as: PAT testing and Gas safety on properties and reporting issues for follow up.
• Working alongside the Premises Manager, administer the Health & Safety checks on all Baca properties including the offices, to ensure regulatory requirements are met and associated paperwork is completed.
• Support in the setting-up and closing down of properties and rooms between moves.
• Administering the setup and set-down of rooms for young people moves between Baca properties, ensuring the rooms are ready for new young people.
• Ensuring the office and car parks are clean and tidy, ensuring visitor experience is positive, professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Assist the Premises Manager and Finance Manager with year-end Fixed Assets verification.
• Supporting with other administrative activities in line with the team needs.

General:

• Play an active and supportive role within the organisation.
• Take ownership of files allocated, ensuring they are up to date and stored correctly.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to work undertaken and ensure all confidential material is stored according to Baca’s Confidentiality statement and Data Protection Policy.

Personal Specification

Baca is looking for someone who can help the organisation with the housing maintenance and day to day function of all properties it houses young people in and our offices. The successful applicant will be motivated and passionate about the work that Baca does and the young people in our care. They will be very organised and practical, able to get on with tasks that need doing on a day-to-day basis, managing a varied and busy workload. They will be very approachable and enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team and supporting others. The successful applicant will need access to transport as the role requires travel between the properties that Baca manages including the transportation of items to the properties.

The successful applicant will have a personable style that is in line with Baca’s vision and values. Someone who is supportive, approachable, responsible, reliable and personable.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience

• Good knowledge/understanding of the building and maintenance process.
• A good awareness of general health and safety, especially regarding maintenance work.
• Ability to use computers well, with experience in Microsoft Office and on-line email systems.
• Experience of prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines.
• Advocate of customer care including experience of dealing with a range of client queries/concerns in a professional and understanding manner.

Skills/Abilities

• Experienced in the use of hand tools and familiar working with timber, basic plumbing materials, furniture building, decorating and gardening.
• Excellent personal organisation with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a number of tasks at any one time.
• Self-motivated to complete a varied workload.
• Working well as part of a team is essential.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact well with staff, contractors and visitors to the office and other properties.
• Ability to work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to the changing demands of Baca’s work.
