ISEAL is offering a new role for aspiring sustainability professionals who are comfortable with and excited by working on social issues around sustainability standards. The role will provide valuable exposure to working with standards systems and partners in business and government to catalyse global efforts on critical social, economic, and environmental sustainability issues. ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. Our Innovations workstreams explore and pilot new solutions to operational and strategic challenges sustainability standards face. The position will be critical to the coordination of projects and engagement with ISEAL members on system innovation working on sustainability topics such as human rights, living wage, gender, farmer livelihoods, climate resilience and sustainable landscapes. 

The coordinator will be part of this journey of peer-to-peer learning, pilot testing, and discovery. The role will collaborate with different ISEAL teams and be in contact with ISEAL Community Member / partner organisations, making this an excellent opportunity to learn about a wide range of initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you will enjoy working on a varied and changing set of tasks related to an area of specialist knowledge and will thrive on learning more about topics related to sustainability standards. Having gained a good level of work experience, you are familiar with project administration, research or analysis, stakeholder engagement and communications. You are keen to provide all-round assistance to several exciting ISEAL projects. The position will be based in ISEAL’s Impacts and Innovations team.

 ISEAL works across a wide range of issues, including social, climate, and environmental challenges, so candidates should be flexible and ready to learn new topics based on where the greatest need arises. Initially, this role will focus on social topics, such as wages, worker conditions and smallholder support. However, there is possibility for supporting on a range of other topics.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Project support

• Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
• Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, outreach and speaker coordination, notetaking, and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications
• Support delivery of virtual, hybrid, and in person meetings, provide technical support during Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings, operate other engagement tools (e.g. EasyRetro, Miro, Jamboard, etc)
• Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
• Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

Key responsibilities

The Senior PR and Press Officer will take a leading role in developing and implementing the media strategy, enhancing the charity's visibility and impact through strategic communications and media engagement. This involves collaborating closely with the PR and Press Manager to identify, research, and develop story and PR campaign ideas for local and national media. The role also includes managing a professional and efficient press office and supporting individuals with lived experience of financial insecurity in their work.

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect.

We’re now looking for a Cubs and Community coordinator to help keep our swim sessions running smoothly and our community growing well.

This role is about people, organisation and care. You’ll coordinate weekly swim sessions, support swimmers throughout their journey with WeSwim, and make sure the behind-the-scenes admin is handled accurately and calmly. You’ll play an important role in welcoming new swimmers into our community,  building relationships with other third-sector organisations, managing waiting lists, and helping ensure our clubs remain active and well-attended.

You’ll get to know our swimmers as individuals ensuring that we can continue to create an experience where people feel supported and welcomed. No two weeks will look the same, but every week will be full of purpose.

This is a part-time role (15 hours per week), ideal for someone who is highly organised, people-focused and motivated by inclusion, community and impact. You don’t need to be a swimmer but you do need to care creating inclusive spaces where people can thrive.

Every session you support helps people who struggle to access mainstream swim sessions to exercise,to feel more confident and benefit from the WeSwim community.

We’re hiring a Fundraising Officer at WeSwim, this is a relationship-led fundraising role with real ownership and influence.

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect. Our work is powered by community, care and people who believe swimming should be accessible to everyone.

We’re now looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead our community fundraising and individual giving efforts and help shape the future of WeSwim’s income.

We already have a strong community of swimmers and volunteers who care deeply about WeSwim. In this role, you’ll work with the community to create more fundraising activitym supporting our members to fundraise in ways that feel achievable, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll be the main point of contact for community fundraisers, creating simple tools and resources that help people feel confident getting involved.

You’ll also work closely with the CEO to develop and grow WeSwim’s individual giving and monthly donations, helping to transform our mix of income over time.

Social AF are experts in Social Media Moderation. Established in 2021, we work with some of the biggest names in the third sector and have supported charities to raise over £30 million through their Facebook Challenges and Virtual events. 

We are a fast-growing agency with a strong reputation for delivering outstanding results. Our team of experienced fundraisers know exactly what it’s like to be on the front line and put their heart and soul into every event. 

On a day to day basis, our team maintains a safe and welcoming environment and ensures all challenge participants feel valued and well supported. Our reputation for delivering an excellent service has helped our agency grow at a rapid pace and we are fast approaching our busiest period. We are now on the lookout for talented fundraisers who understand the value of supporter care to join our team.

About the role

Our moderators manage Facebook groups of up to 18,000 virtual challenge participants. You will be working with some of the biggest names in the sector, supporting them to raise five and six figure sums. 

This role is perfect for skilled fundraisers who can provide excellent supporter care, and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm and adhere to our sub-three hour response time. 

As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you would be responsible for:

• Becoming the voice of the cause you are representing, adhering to their brand guidelines at all times

• Identifying, escalating and signposting any safeguarding issues

• Managing your own time and work on own initiative

• Responding to all post and queries in under three hours

• Maximising registration conversions and fundraiser activation 

• Providing fundraising support to challenge participants

• Ensuring that the group is a safe, constructive and positive environment

• Going above and beyond at all times to provide participants with an incredible experience

Our moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday-Sunday. Different challenges have different requirements and whilst you need to be on hand to monitor the group during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional fundraising experience. They will understand the importance of stewarding relationships and be committed to always acting in the best possible way for the charities we work so hard to support.

Full training will be provided alongside regular one to one and monthly team meetings.

Role Summary:

Whilst Futures For All has been fundraising for all of our 15 year history, we are now at a point in which increasing voluntary income and diversifying our charitable income streams is vital to the charity’s long-term success.  The new role of Director of Fundraising took up management of the team in 2024, and is now in the process of building a bigger and brighter team to support increasing income over the next few years.

The Senior Fundraising Manager – Trust and Philanthropy will play a pivotal role in raising funds from grantmaking trusts and HNWIs (philanthropists) towards the work of Futures For All.  They will go beyond simply writing applications and reports, to build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards maximising their grant to the charity.  They will work closely with colleagues, volunteers and leadership to ensure each prospect/donor is engaged appropriately and accurate information is provided in a timely manner.  They will also support the overall function of the Fundraising team, supporting other forms of fundraising. They will build relationships with prospects and donors, ensuring that each are guided through the solicitation cycle towards making major donations.

About this role

Other information

As you will be home-based, we are flexible about your location. Save the Children UK is looking for an individual with extensive senior legal, governance and risk leadership experience to join us as our General Counsel and Company Secretary. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Board of Trustees, Chief Executive and leaders across SCUK, as well as partners across the global Save the Children Movement, to help drive impact for children.

About the role 

As General Counsel and Company Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in guiding decisions that align with our mission and values, ensuring that SCUK operates with integrity, transparency and strong governance. You will lead our Legal, Enterprise Risk and Company Secretariat functions, oversee internal audit performance, and act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. You will integrate legal, governance and risk-thinking into organisational decision-making, enabling innovation and impact while ensuring compliance and safeguarding the organisation's reputation and obligations. 

In this role, you will: 

• Provide strategic legal, regulatory and governance advice to the Board, CEO and senior leaders, ensuring decisions are informed, risk-aware and aligned with our organisational priorities. 

• Lead and motivate the Legal, Enterprise Risk and Company Secretariat teams, setting strategic direction and fostering a high-performing, inclusive, values- and impact-driven culture. 

• Serve as Company Secretary, ensuring robust governance, effective Board and Committee management, and compliance with company law, Charity Commission requirements and the Charity Governance Code. 

• Oversee SCUK's enterprise risk management and internal audit functions, acting as Executive Sponsor for Global Assurance and ensuring effective risk, audit and compliance frameworks are in place. 

• Support organisational transformation and innovation, including new financial models, subsidiaries, and partnerships, while ensuring SCUK remains compliant, ethical and child-rights focused. 

About you 

You'll be an English qualified lawyer with broad experience across a range of areas, including some or all of charity and fundraising laws, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, IT and corporate law.   

Ideally, you'll bring experience in an in-house legal role (including in a charity context) with some experience of working in international contexts.

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Senior experience in a challenging role, including managing a team and working with senior executives and trustees.

• Good understanding of the context in which Save the Children works. Experience and understanding of human rights law, child-rights based law and/or laws relating to sexual offences is desirable but not essential. 

• Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity, influence at senior levels and provide clear, solution-focused advice. 

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in accessible ways and negotiate effectively. 

• A high level of integrity, ethical judgement and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, and to fostering a culture of accountability and learning. 

• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.

Location & Ways of Working: 

SCUK offers ‘remote first' hybrid and flexible work arrangements to enable impact towards our strategic objectives and to support the wellbeing of our talented people.

This role involves close direct work with the Board, CEO, senior leaders, staff, and partners. Often fast-paced and handling sensitive issues and relationships, the nature of this role means that you are likely to need to be in our Farringdon office for at least two days most weeks. Some out-of-hours work may be required.
