We are seeking to recruit a welfare benefits caseworker to undertake casework assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits and other sources of financial help.

To be successful you will need:

  • At least one year’s full time (or part time equivalent) paid or unpaid recent experience of advice work. This should include advising and undertaking casework on complex cases in social welfare law.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of welfare benefits including those related to disability and sickness.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the Aims and Principles of the Citizens Advice service including Equal Opportunities policies.
