As an Advocacy Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our advocacy strategy - engaging with grantees, policymakers, and leading experts to influence decisions that matter. Your work will help accelerate action on air quality at international, national, and local levels, and expand the reach and impact of donor funding for clean air initiatives.

Our advocacy spans major global platforms such as COP, G20, and partnerships with multilateral and bilateral donors, UN agencies, and country representatives. We combine direct advocacy with strategic grant-making to amplify voices and drive systemic change.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and support the smooth delivery of advocacy activities, from coordinating Clean Air Fund’s presence at global events, organising stakeholder engagement and events, to drafting briefings. This includes the potential for travel to global advocacy moments such as COP.
• Manage grantee portfolios, ensuring impactful partnerships and effective onboarding.
• Provide research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Keep our team and partners aligned through clear communication and project management.

The wïsh centre is a Registered Charity in London Borough of Harrow that helps young people to stop self harming so that they can live a life free from the risk of serious harm. Every year we support over 150 children and young people ages 12-25 years through long term psychotherapy and peer support groups. We deliver our work in schools and colleges and at our Centre in Harrow. We have a twenty year evidenced track record of success and a small and dedicated team.

 We have a new three year strategy where we will focus on enhancing the capacity of wïsh Harrow so that we can support more young people and will continue to focus on partnership work with youth voice being central to, and informing, all that we do.

Purpose of the Role

The Deputy CEO is a new and exciting role that is pivotal in supporting the CEO in leading the charity, ensuring operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustainable impact. This role combines leadership, governance, income generation, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance to help drive the charity’s mission forward.

The Deputy CEO will work closely with the CEO, enhancing capacity to recruit and retain staff and diversify sources of funding to ensure the sustainability of our service.

You will be responsible for creating new partnerships and commissioning opportunities and help us with income generation and the stewarding of funding relationships whilst keeping an overview of the quality of our services and how we communicate about our work.

You will be entrepreneurial and fast thinking, with skills of persuasion and strategy. Experience of working in the education, charity, mental health or social care field will be an advantage together with a genuine drive to improve life chances for young people.

Leadership & Governance

· Deputise for the CEO when required, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making.

Job summary:

You will set both strategic direction and deliver hands-on activity, overseeing all fundraising streams, communications, digital platforms, and supporter engagement. • Use communication and marketing techniques to amplify the impact of our services and increase our reach, ensuring maximum take up.
• Oversee the charity’s website, ensuring strong user experience, accessibility, SEO performance, and conversion optimisation.

• Oversee digital supporter acquisition and retention: paid ads, email marketing, marketing automation, and analytics.

5. Campaigns & public engagement

• Lead fundraising, awareness and media campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

Heart of Kent Hospice provides compassionate, specialist end-of-life care for people across our community. As demand for our services grows and NHS funding continues to cover only a fraction of our true costs, the need for exceptional bid-writing and proactive trust fundraising has never been more urgent.  This role is responsible for generating high-quality, compelling bids, predominantly in the three and four figure range, to fund essential clinical services, patient support, and transformational projects. You will help ensure the hospice can continue to deliver outstanding care today and plan confidently for the future.

• Proactively research and evaluate potential grant funders, identifying strong matches for priority hospice projects.

About the Role
As our committed and experienced Speaker Network and Education Manager,
you will:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the Speaker Network and volunteer Speakers and overseeing Administrators who coordinate and process Speaker requests.
• Lead and manage the Speaker Network, recruiting volunteers and training them to deliver high-quality talks and workshops.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain educational resources, including Key Stage WASH curriculum materials, ensuring best practice in language, design, and child-friendly visuals.
• Manage operational processes and systems, embedding best practice in volunteer management, GDPR compliance, and safeguarding.
• Monitor performance, manage budgets and KPIs, and contribute to reporting, evaluation, and future planning.
• Lead on strategic initiatives, contributing to the development of a unified volunteer stewardship journey across WaterAid.

Person Specification / To be successful, you’ll need:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and people-focused individual who can inspire and support volunteers. You will have:

• 5+ years’ experience recruiting, developing, and managing volunteers, ideally in education or community engagement.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding, and volunteer best practice.
• A natural ability to inspire, motivate, and support volunteers to deliver high-quality talks and workshops.
• Experience developing and delivering training and/or educational resources.
• Strong organisational, planning, and evaluation skills, including monitoring, reporting, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Experience managing Key Stage educational resources and/or working with freelance educators or writers.
• Understanding of WASH programmes, policy, and campaigning.

The Tours & Projects Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of several key areas of the Orchestra’s core performance activity, including but not limited to: international stand-alone concerts, tours and residencies; UK tours, engagements and festival performances; commercial recordings and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating of all international tours and residencies undertaken by the Orchestra,

• Planning and coordinating of UK-based performances, engagements and tours outside of the Orchestra’s core regional residencies.

• Planning and coordinating commercial recordings and special projects, shared with Concerts & Projects Manager, according to orchestra schedule.

• Developing and managing detailed itineraries, travel schedules, visas, freight and accommodation for musicians, artists, staff and equipment.

• Preparing project budgets, managing and maintaining set budgets and final reconciliation and invoicing, including international tax applications on behalf of the Orchestra.

• Liaising with the Orchestra’s Head of Production and Stage Managers regarding practical arrangements for all concerts and projects, including, but not limited to, stage plans, stage extensions, ATA carnet applications; truck requirements, second instruments etc.

• Liaising closely with the Orchestra Librarians on orchestrations and editions for repertoire being performed or recorded.

• Supervising the Concerts Coordinators and Assistant in the practical delivery of contracts, PPE letters, technical riders, dressing room and security lists, rehearsal venue bookings, flight and hotel lists etc.

• Keeping abreast of all relevant agreements and updates from the Association of British Orchestras and Musicians’ Union concerning touring best practice and regulation.

• Liaising with the Orchestra Committee and Artistic Committee regarding player matters as directed by Senior Concerts Manager/Concerts Director.

• Travel with the Orchestra on all international tours and attending concerts & projects within the UK as necessary.

• Upholding and demonstrating the Orchestra's values. Representing the Philharmonia with utmost professionalism at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

• Minimum three years’ managerial experience in classical music administration preferably with a focus on tour management

• Demonstrable experience in performance production and scheduling; including knowledge of international visas, tax and travel.

About our Primary Care Network Service

The Primary Care Network Service works in partnership with GP surgeries in Hertfordshire to provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to individuals who are experiencing mental ill health or need support with their mental wellbeing.

About the role

The Team Lead plays a significant role in the co-ordination and running of the Primary Care Network Service. This role is key to the development and support of the team and the wider organisation and will be part of the new NHS Neighbourhood plans.

Responsibilities of the post

• To line manage a team of Community Support Workers. 
• To provide monthly supervision to support client work and staff wellbeing.
• To be responsible for the Primary Care Network Service quarterly reporting.
• To support the team in doing high quality case studies.
• To participate in the recruitment of new Community Support Workers.
• To carry out HMN’s induction program for new Community Support Workers.
• To ensure Community Support Workers receive regular and up to date training to support their job role and well-being.
• To build strong relationships with GP surgeries across Hertfordshire.

• Support clients to build their emotional resilience and crisis planning tools, promoting self-management through building an understanding of their own triggers/coping strategies.
• To provide advocacy where requested by clients, accompanying them and ensuring their voice is heard when communicating with other agencies.
