Job description

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting a lovely organisation that provide welfare and wellbeing support in their search for a Senior People and Engagement Officer. This is a permanent role sitting within a collaborative and forward-thinking People team, and offers £36,000, on a remote basis with some travel to the offices in London. This is a genuinely varied role, combining employee relations support with employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and culture-focused projects.

Working closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, you'll provide guidance on a range of people matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance and organisational change, while also helping to deliver initiatives that improve employee experience, wellbeing and workplace culture.

You’ll bring solid experience in a HR or people-focused role, with a sound understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment law. You’ll also have some exposure to employee relations processes; you might have gained this through supporting investigations, note-taking or case administration or advisory work. You’ll have a passion for employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be confident, and have some experience of, presenting and facilitating discussions with a range of audiences.

We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to develop across a broad people remit.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting managers with employee relations matters across the employee lifecycle
  • Contributing to engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives from concept through to delivery and evaluation
  • Facilitating sessions, awareness campaigns and employee-focused activities
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting culture, organisational development and change projects
  • Contributing to policy development, communications and continuous improvement activity

This role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel to a Central London office for team events, project work and business requirements. Applicants must be able to travel to London when needed.

At Prospectus, we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you with your application. We welcome candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds and are happy to make reasonable adjustments to enable all interested candidates to apply. If you require assistance with your application, please contact Shannon Sanderson, the lead consultant for this role. Please note that applications and CVs sent directly by email cannot be accepted and must be submitted through the application link to ensure they are properly recorded and considered.
