The opportunity

As Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic financial leadership across the charity and its trading subsidiary.

EIA is seeking to recruit an Outreach and Communications Officer to strengthen the visibility, influence and coordination of its climate campaign.

The role sits at the intersection of communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement. The postholder will focus on translating and amplifying EIA’s policy and advocacy work through media, stakeholder engagement and external positioning. An important aspect of the role will be to support engagement and coordination with EIA partners, to build the movement and amplify their efforts.

Key areas of responsibility

Media and strategic communications

Person Specification

Essential

· Demonstrated experience in communications, public affairs, campaigning or media work within NGOs, civil society or advocacy organisations

The Philharmonia is seeking to appoint a Box Office and CRM Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of the Orchestra’s CRM strategy, systems and audience experience. The roles focuses on ensuring a seamless customer journey while overseeing the effective operation of the Box Office and the ongoing development of Tessitura.

This is a key role overseeing both the day-to-day operation and strategic development of the Philharmonia’s Box Office and CRM function. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing ticketing and customer strategies that maximise sales income, improve conversion and enhance the audience experience.

As a public facing member of staff, the Box Office and CRM Manager will be a key representative of the Orchestra, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient and accessible service whether booking online, by phone or in person. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service is therefore essential.

The role will also lead on the effective management and ongoing development of Tessitura, supporting audience insight, segmentation, reporting and customer journeys across the organisation. Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning and implementation:

• Work closely with Marketing and Development colleagues to develop and implement CRM strategies that support audience growth, income generation, membership retention/acquisition and fundraising objectives

• Develop customer journeys, audience segmentation and data-led approaches that improve conversion, retention and engagement across the customer lifecycle

• Develop and deliver training for staff across departments to ensure confident and effective use of Tessitura and Box Office activities

• Ensure organisational compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, including GDPR, PCI and data protection requirements

Role Overview 

Your focus is supporting the CEO by managing their diary, scheduling meetings, and ensuring board papers are prepared and distributed on time. You also assist the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with meeting coordination and follow-up actions. Alongside this, you provide essential HR and compliance administration, helping maintain accurate records and supporting smooth people processes. You’ll keep systems organised, so information is easy to find, and decisions are based on reliable data. 

Key Responsibilities 

CEO Support 

• Manage the CEO’s diary and schedule meetings. 
• Prepare agendas and meeting packs for CEO and SLT meetings. 
• Distribute board papers and track related actions. 

SLT Support 

• Coordinate SLT diaries and meeting logistics. 
• Take and circulate meeting notes, track actions and deadlines. 
• Maintain organised document storage in Office 365 and SharePoint. 

HR and People Administration 

• Support the Head of Finance and Administration with HR processes. 
• Assist with recruitment admin: scheduling interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding checklists. 
• Maintain personnel files and training records.
• Track compliance requirements: DBS checks, right-to-work documentation, policy acknowledgements, and mandatory training logs. 
• Issue new contracts and set new employees on the system 
• Full management of our employees HR portal 
• Maintain central trackers for actions and deadlines. 
• Handle routine admin tasks: filing, scanning, letters, and data entry. 
• Support basic finance & admin (e.g., chasing approvals, filing documents).

We are looking for an SLC Coordinator to join us and continue to grow the scope and presence we have already established in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. We are open to considering candidates wishing to work up to 36 hours per week. The salary will be pro rata for roles of less than 36 hours per week. 

About the role

The key purpose of the Coordinator role is to support the Senior Engagement Manager to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across Yorkshire and Humberside and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have three Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to work alongside the Senior Engagement Manager and coordinate the SLCs’ activity, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and ensuring the projects and work they are involved in continue to be successful.

About you

You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced Coordinator, you will engage and support Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a national team working across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with. Ideally you will need to live within the Yorkshire and Humberside region, as there will be travel within the region every week.

The award-winning ISM is the dynamic, change making professional body  representing musicians. With a current membership of over 11,000, the ISM is known for its wide range of services to its members from legal to health and wellbeing. We are also known for our campaigning work on issues from music education to AI and Brexit.

The ISM is now looking for a highly experienced Administrator and Secretary to work alongside the Chief Executive. You will have very strong administrative skills as well as advanced knowledge of using Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You must have experience of ensuring good governance at Board level including  preparing Board papers and drafting and circulating Board minutes. This is a critical part of the role as well as drafting a wide variety of correspondence.

You will also be responsible for aspects of risk management such as health and safety. The Chief Executive is a senior leader in the music sector so you will need to be able to demonstrate absolute loyalty, discretion and confidentiality as well as excellent common sense and good judgement.

If possible you should have a music background.

You will have at least 5 years’ experience working  in Governance/ Administration or as a PA/ Secretary and will be used to working to competing deadlines with high levels of accuracy. You will be joining a professional staff team who are based in Bayswater, London. The role is 28 hours per week.
