A fundraiser, partnerships guru, and consummate relationship builder. Someone who can support the CEO to identify, go after, and convert opportunities which sustain and scale the charity’s impact. Broadly this means more money and greater participation. Through your ability to seek out and support the relationships which matter most you will ensure the charity secures:

• Income generating relationships with trusts, foundations, and philanthropists
• Corporate partnerships fuelling our programmes with funding and volunteers

The Role

As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Finance & HR Director and support the Finance & HR Director in leading day-to-day financial operations, taking ownership of transactional accounting and month-end reconciliations. You’ll maintain the general ledger, ensure data integrity across systems, and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control functions. The role involves coordinating payroll, preparing management accounts and VAT returns, supporting budget preparation and assisting with year-end accounts and external audits.

This is an exciting and varied role will be providing a key role in developing and increasing income, donor acquisition and engagement across SSCH’s Individual Giving fundraising programme, including legacies. The post will work to maximise potential and develop both new and existing donors, through targeted donor development campaigns, supporter acquisition and retention programmes.

The post holder will work flexibly across the Individual Giving income streams including individual donations, campaigns, gifts in memory and legacies. As part of this, a key responsibility will be the relationship management and support to any of our supported families who choose to fundraise for SSCH. This role will also support with legacy administration.

This role will combine a targeted driven approach with excellent donor care and relationship management helping to drive growth and income.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience within a fundraising or comparable role. Ideally the candidate will have some legacy administration experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting residents with daily tasks who may be facing challenges with complex needs such as mental health, substance use, and offending backgrounds.
• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events such as movie nights, cooking evenings, and games nights
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis

About the Role

Funded by ten prime providers, this is a senior policy and public affairs role leading a high-profile campaign on behalf of the employment support sector. The postholder will ensure that decision makers, policy makers, and commissioners clearly understand:

• The value and contribution of large employment support organisations as prime contract holders

• What is required to deliver effective future employment support programmes

The role will be managed by the CEO of ERSA, with the CEO reporting into a dedicated campaign working group.

It will enable ERSA to further and more effectively represent the interests of the employment support sector and the prime provider model across future national and devolved commissioning activity.

Lead research and policy projects 

You will lead our Research and Policy team and manage our research experts. This will include leading on existing and new projects from concept design to funder reporting, as well as conducting research in different areas of economic and social policy like social security, pensions, VAWG, labour market, social care, etc.

Maintain and forge external partnerships 

You will maintain, identify and forge new collaborations with academics, feminist organisations and economics think tanks. 

Represent WBG at external events and to the media 

You will represent WBG in meetings with key stakeholders and speak at external events. You will also be a spokesperson for the press, radio and broadcast TV to promote WBG’s research and analysis. 

Contribute to our advocacy strategy 

You will work closely with our Communications and Public Affairs team to ensure our research outputs are relevant to our advocacy goals and that they are accessible to a wide range of audiences, including policymakers, politicians, journalists, and feminist campaigning organisations. 

Supervise our research and policy support programme 

In collaboration with our Head of Training and Capacity Building you will expand our programme of research and policy support for grassroots organisations in the UK and internationally. 

Manage a team and support its members 

You will be leading not only projects but also people. You will have experience of supporting, motivating and leading a team of people and supporting them to develop new skills and grow in their careers. This includes staff members and paid interns. 

Hours: 30 hours per week. We operate a shorter working week with 30 hours the equivalent of full time. We are happy to consider a secondment role and/or flexible working arrangements. Some out of hours working will be required for which TOIL will be given. 

Location: Must be resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK. Post is hybrid with requirement to be in the office at least once a week. Office is in Vauxhall, London. 

Duration: 10-month fixed-term contract. 

Line management: Reports to the Director, manages three staff members and any paid interns working in the Research and Policy team. 

Start date: Late May 2026

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. We are now looking for an Operations Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working up to 40 hours per week including at least one weekend day per week.

The Role

As our Operations Assistant, you will support a seamless customer journey at the Hyde Park and The Regents Park Tennis venues, from arrival through to departure.

Acting as a first point of contact, you’ll engage with customers across our facilities, responding to enquiries, encouraging repeat bookings, and escalating complaints when needed, while consistently delivering a high standard of customer service.

You’ll also help maintain safe, well-managed venues by promoting positive customer behaviour, managing expectations around court usage, and supporting the procedures that keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Additionally, you will:

• Provide information about the surrounding park environment
• Process bookings for all visitors
• Handle tenders in line with financial policies
• Support the preparation of areas for activities and events
• Attend team briefings
• Follow safeguarding guidelines for children and adults at risk

About You

To be considered as an Operations Assistant, you will need:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage customers and resources to achieve smooth operations and a great customer experience
• Computer literacy, with the ability to use a variety of systems and MS Outlook, Word and basic Excel
• Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of audiences
• Organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of Senior Graphic Designer to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.

As a key member of the Creative Content team, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead on and produce all aspects of creative design and branded materials. Responsible for ensuring heightened creativity and brand consistency, the Graphic Designer will act as a brand guardian, leading creativity across the organisation to elevate IR’s brand.

The Graphic Designer will lead on creating engaging designs for a variety of briefs from ideation through to concepts development, design and final creative products for Islamic Reliefs fundraising, marketing, advocacy, UK programmes campaigns and initiatives. 

They are responsible for producing a diverse range of high-quality, innovative, and engaging digital and print materials that showcase IR’s progressive humanitarian work both nationally and internationally.

The role involves creating and developing visual assets across multiple channels, including direct mail packs, posters, leaflets, project booklets, fundraising materials and emergency appeal communications, social media graphics, digital ads, event marketing materials, advocacy campaign assets, website visuals, and published reports. The post holder will also occasionally support video production for campaigns.

This position requires a strong combination of creativity and technical expertise to deliver and coordinate all aspects of design work. The successful candidate will be comfortable working to tight deadlines, consistently delivering high-quality outputs that align with IRUK brand guidelines.

The successful candidate must have:

• A qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design
• Proven experience of producing designs from ideation, concepts through to final creative assets
• Experience in storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively
• Proven experience in producing graphic design assets for all digital and print platforms including direct mail packs, magazines, and print reports
• Experience in producing varied graphic design assets for digital ads
• Experience in developing and elevating brand identity through multiple design projects
• Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders and clients
• Be artistic in producing graphically animated sequences
• Creative and innovative approach to work
• Excellent research skills to successfully market products aimed at IR’s diverse donor base
• Excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to plan own work, and establish and maintain monitoring systems
• Excellent ability to work on multiple design briefs and meet deadlines
• Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond effectively to requests for briefs and deadlines
• Co-operative and supportive team player with an ability to work within cross organisational teams
• Specialist knowledge of using graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Working knowledge of PC and Mac platforms
• Commitment to working within the principles of equal opportunities
