Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join LAMDA’s ambitious Development department on a one-year fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover for our Development Manager (Philanthropy) role. The department plays a central role in the life of the UK's oldest and top-ranked drama school. As Development Manager, you will be an integral member of a close-knit team to help raise funds by inspiring donors to support our cause; as a result, you will play a key role in ensuring accessibility to LAMDA's outstanding training opportunities.

We regularly liaise with our world-famous alumni who support our work; they are often involved in our supporter events, such as our high-profile biennial fundraising
Gala. Just a few of the alumni we regularly work with are Brian Cox CBE, Benedict Cumberbatch CBE, Rebecca Frecknall, Leah Harvey, Rory Kinnear, John Lithgow, David Oyelowo OBE, Sir David Suchet CBE, Dame Janet Suzman, and Dame Harriet Walter DBE.

This role is ideal for anyone wishing to make a real impact and drive positive social change.
