ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Operations & Organisational Effectiveness is responsible for leadingUbele's operational infrastructure and ensuring the organisation has the systems,processes, people, governance and resources required to operate effectively andsustainably.
As a member of the management board, the postholder will work closely with thecurrent CEO and colleagues across the organisation to strengthen organisationaleffectiveness, improve operational performance and create the conditions forsuccessful programme delivery and long-term organisational resilience.

THE ROLE
The postholder will support the Prevention Coordinator to ensure events are delivered safely and effectively.
They will offer information, advice and guidance to people facing issues that are currently or may soon affect their housing security — delivering swift, impactful interventions that help reduce the risk of homelessness, and advocating and mediating on clients' behalf as they navigate complex bureaucratic systems. This role involves building meaningful relationships with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, connecting them with the Welfare Benefits, Housing Allocations, Citizens Advice, mental health and substance misuse support they need and deserve.
The postholder will work closely with a wide range of partners, including homelessness service providers, local authorities, and healthcare and wellbeing organisations. They will carry a varied caseload, conducting assessments and working creatively to navigate the complex and challenging issues that can lead to clients becoming homeless, supporting them to engage with services. Working closely with SPEAR's Homeless Health Link Team, they will support colleagues with client-facing work and carry a caseload of clients requiring homelessness prevention support.
This role will be spread across 4 days per week.

About the role:
This is an ideal post for someone with experience and interest in bereavement work, looking to join a forward thinking, new service. This is also a great chance to be working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield and be part of a prison services team in Advance.
Using a trauma informed approached, the Loss & Bereavement Specialist will conduct a person-centred assessment to understand the extent of the client’s emotional needs and the impact of loss due to imprisonment or contact with the criminal justice system whilst also identifying practical and specialist needs. They will work with women to develop a support plan, ensuring they are equipped with information and knowledge about how to navigate possible changes in circumstances related to her children’s care and offer crisis intervention and support during acute phases of loss/bereavement.
The Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker will liaise with the Prison Healthcare team, OMU, visits team and the Family Support Officer to facilitate interactions between women and their children/family members, particularly considering support is in place after visits and that the women’s emotional needs are met in custody and community via our Women’s centres.
The Specialist Worker will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women. They will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need advanced experience of Power BI, including semantic models, star schemas, DAX, calculated columns, hierarchies and performance optimisation. You will also be proficient in Power Query Editor and M Language, with experience of Power BI datasets, dataflows, semantic layers and SQL for querying, transforming, testing and validating data from multiple sources.

The postholder will spend time embedded within local health partnerships, helping to strengthen collaboration between statutory and voluntary sector organisations and ensuring local residents can access the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Community Health Outreach
· Coordinate and support delivery of a programme of community outreach events across Southwark.
· Work alongside community organisations to engage older residents who may be isolated, vulnerable or at risk of frailty.
· Support residents to access local services, activities and community assets.
· Promote prevention, wellbeing and healthy ageing messages.
Partnership Development
· Build strong relationships with:
o Integrated Neighbourhood Teams
o Social Prescribing teams
o Primary Care Networks
o Community health services
o VCSE organisations
o Housing and faith partners
· Act as a key point of contact between Time & Talents and local health partners.
· Identify opportunities for collaboration and service development.
Community Engagement
· Engage with residents in community settings including sheltered housing, community centres, faith venues and neighbourhood hubs.
· Ensure outreach activities are accessible, inclusive and responsive to community need.
· Gather resident feedback and insight to influence future service delivery.
Programme Coordination
· Coordinate delivery schedules, partner engagement and event logistics.
· Monitor project activity and outcomes.
· Collect and report data in line with project requirements.
· Produce case studies and examples of impact.
Integration and Learning
· Attend relevant neighbourhood health meetings and forums.
· Share learning between partners and contribute to service improvement.
· Support the development of sustainable pathways between health and community services.
General

About the role
The Turn2us Programmes Team runs place-based programmes to address the symptoms of and tackles the causes of financial insecurity. The Barking and Dagenham Programme has been running for three years working across multiple locations in Barking and Dagenham to design solutions to financial insecurity with residents and convene local stakeholders to drive systems change. This role will continue to work in partnership with local organisations and residents to develop and manage an innovative, high impact programme of support that includes lived experience, grants, and information so that people living in financial insecurity have the opportunity to build financial security and thrive in the places where they live.
About you
We are looking for someone experienced in managing programmes with complex projects, partnerships, and power dynamics and key stakeholders across the social, public, and charitable sector.
The candidate should be a strong communicator, collaborative, and able to translate complex ideas values to diverse audiences, and skilled in people management. They should be knowledgeable in embedding principals of EDIB, safeguarding, and GDPR.
Candidates should have a proven track record of financial accountability and community-led or community action programmes through collaborative and co-produced approaches.
