We‘re about fuller plates, fuller communities, and fuller lives.

  • Lead the transition of roles and responsibilities as DDAT is reshaped, ensuring Impact & Insights takes clear ownership of business logic and insight requirements while working with Technology to inform the core reporting suite and data infrastructure, creating clearer accountabilities and a stronger, more effective department.
  • Own business logic, measurement frameworks, KPI design and data quality reporting, working with business owners and Technology to strengthen data governance and organisational data maturity.
  • ·Create and maintain an innovative environment that encourages colleague participation in raising standards of quality, team working and communication.
  • Monitor departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement when required to ensure targets are achieved and improved.
  • Establishes direction by developing strategies to attain long term goals.
  • Shape and lead Impact and Insights as a strategic, trusted function that embeds a data-driven culture across the organisation.
  • Lead the research, data and analytics strategy, ensuring evidence, insight and enabling technology drive impact, learning and innovation.
  • Establish and embed data governance practices that improve data consistency, accountability, compliance, and the responsible use of information across the charity.
  • Oversee the production of reporting and analytical outputs that turn complex evidence into clear, compelling insight for senior leaders, trustees and external stakeholders.
  • Personally lead and deliver analysis for key strategic projects, ensuring robust evidence, insight and recommendations directly inform organisational priorities and decision-making.
  • Work in partnership with fundraising, food and marketing teams  to ensure insight, evidence and impact reporting are embedded in planning, delivery and strategic decision-making.
  • Support systems, tools and processes for effective data capture, reporting, governance and insight generation, working closely with the BI Lead and data engineering team.
  • Establish and advocate for appropriate use of AI and digital tools to improve or automate analysis, forecasting, reporting efficiency or insight generation, with appropriate governance in place.
  • Strategically manage the Impact & Insights budget and resources effectively, ensuring investment is prioritised to deliver the greatest value for organisational learning, performance and impact.
