Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for a new Senior Philanthropy Executive to join their team. The Refugee Council is a leading charity working with refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. Founded in 1951 following the creation of the UN Refugee Convention, they exist to support and empower people who have fled conflict, violence and persecution in order to rebuild their lives here in the UK. They work with over 14,000 women, men and children each year who are desperately seeking safety.
The role is offered on a permanent full-time basis with a salary of £41,013 per annum with flexible hybrid working options between home and their Stratford office.
The Senior Philanthropy Executive will secure sustainable, high value income from major donors (high net-worth individuals and family trusts) in support of the organisation’s strategic priorities and long-term financial sustainability. The role is accountable for building, converting and stewarding a strong pipeline of high value funding opportunities, translating organisational priorities into compelling, fundable propositions, and ensuring effective relationships with major donors. As a member of the Philanthropy Team, the postholder contributes to income planning and organisational alignment, ensuring philanthropy activity is targeted, coherent and delivers measurable impact.
They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing five and six figure gifts from high value fundraising sources, including major donors and/or family foundations. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of building and managing pipelines and converting new business. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the issues affecting refugees and people seeking asylum and an understanding of the UK major donor fundraising practice.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
You will lead a specialist refuge service providing safe accommodation and support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse. You will ensure a high-quality, trauma-informed service that empowers individuals to rebuild their lives, while promoting an anti-racist, intersectional and strengths-based approach in line with Hestia's values.
You will oversee all aspects of service delivery, including safeguarding, case management, move-on planning and support activities, ensuring women and children receive effective, person-centred support. You will also be responsible for the management of refuge properties, maintaining safe, secure and welcoming environments, and overseeing health and safety, housing management, repairs and voids.
The role includes leading and developing a team of refuge and children's workers, providing supervision, performance management and professional development opportunities to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. You will also ensure compliance with contractual requirements, manage budgets, monitor performance and use data to drive continuous improvement.
Working closely with partner agencies and local networks, you will represent Hestia in multi-agency settings, building strong relationships with housing, health, social care, education and community organisations to ensure women and children can access the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You will have experience leading and supervising teams within a domestic abuse, refuge, housing or supported accommodation setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, person-centred services and managing risk for women and children affected by domestic abuse. You will be confident monitoring performance, maintaining high standards and supporting individuals with multiple and complex support needs.
You will have a strong understanding of domestic abuse, safeguarding, housing rights and welfare benefits, including legislation relevant to survivors of domestic abuse. Fluent in at least one South Asian language, you will be able to communicate effectively with women who do not feel confident using English and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive support.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, staff and external partners. You will be resilient, organised and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, crisis environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining a compassionate and empowering approach.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Lead to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace and wider digital systems across the Refugee Employment Network.
The Refugee Employment Marketplace is a digital platform connecting displaced people in the UK with jobs, employers and employment support.
Working closely with developers, partners and users, you will help ensure the Marketplace is successfully implemented, accessible, adopted and scaled across Wales and the wider REN network. Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Product Development & Delivery
· Lead the implementation, customisation and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace to meet REN’s organisational goals and user needs.

We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our brand new Shelter shop opening in St Albans. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.
You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

About the role
You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.

Your extraordinary motivational skills will enable you to inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. Above all, you are ready to take on a new challenge and have a keen interest in Shelter's cause.

A hugely exciting new role within the Communications team at the charity, the postholder will work across media, external affairs and influencing to engage with key stakeholders, boost the charity's profile, and promote learning and adoption of the solutions the organisation funds. You will be responsible for sharing evidence and learning in order to influence the people who fund, adopt and commission mental health care and services, and will work closely with the CEO to increase engagement with policy work which the Maudsley Charity undertakes through it's work in coalitions.

Contract: Full time, permanent role
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, with two days per week in the Denmark Hill office
