Main Role & Responsibilities

The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with responsibility for engagement within Wales. Although remote working, they would need to be living in Wales for travel purposes.

Role Requirements

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Planning 

· Network and develop stakeholder relationships, leading the recruitment of delegates suitable to Ygam’s programmes.

· Provide high quality training to a range of professionals in line with Ygam’s Quality Assurance processes.

· Deliver workshops and training independently as well as through team teach approach.

· Be responsive to delegates needs, answering questions and queries in a supportive manner.

· Promote Ygam’s additional offerings, such as Alumni and resources.

Outcomes:

To support the engagement and activation of key audiences to take action in support of ending the need for food banks. Responsible for delivering mobilisation opportunities and actions to new and existing supporters and driving meaningful change through action.

Key Responsibilities

Audience engagement and supporter activation

Work with the Senior Audience Mobilisation Manager and Audience Mobilisation Manager to develop and deliver campaigning actions that recruit and inspire new supporters, deepen engagement with existing audiences and build widespread public support for our vision, while collaborating with the Email Marketing Manager and Supporter Data Manager to deliver engaging, insights driven activity aligned to our audience strategy and supporting audience retention.

Platform Management

· Build and manage actions on our external campaigns platform provider, collaborating with the platform provider agency to deliver impactful and engaging digital mobilisation journeys, leading on the system as super user.

Cross team collaboration

· Engage with project teams, audience leads and channel owners to deliver journeys and the content needed within them, as well as actions that engage campaigners through time, money, voice aligning content, messaging and audience touchpoints. 

Insight and evaluation

Child Bereavement UK is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role will play a vital part in helping Child Bereavement UK turn up the dial across our Regional Fundraising team.

The Head of Regional Fundraising is responsible for overseeing our team of Regional Fundraising Managers and Challenge Events team to maximise income from community groups and associations, businesses and individuals as well as leading the growth and diversity of the challenge events portfolio.

Alongside leading the regional team, you will also be the main point of contact for our team of Community Ambassador Volunteers. You will work with them to keep them engaged, inspired and active with great training, communication, and by providing them with the tools, materials and resources they need to fulfil their roles across the country.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership

The team has successfully influenced the law on microchipping, pet theft and commercial kitten sales in England and worked with the Scottish Government to regulate cat breeding and rehoming activities. The team also runs digital campaigns as part of its strategy.

This role will join an ambitious programme developing the capacity of the Libraries Connected public library networks. We want to help them evolve as strategic partnerships able to deliver social impacts at scale and to secure resources and investment from national, regional and sub-regional government. Be key to the development of libraries as essential social infrastructure, and help them secure the resources they need to make an impact. 

The role is part of a small team of two Regional Managers, supported by an Administrator. 

By developing our existing regional networks into formal, resourced structures we can enable the regions to: 

• Secure investment for the service and for the libraries from regional and devolved / combined authority funds.
• Create unique regional offers to meet specific needs across and within the regional areas.
• Deliver at scale. For example, the Yorkshire & Humber regional network has 15 library services, and 348 library buildings. 
• Create opportunities for cost saving – through joint procurement and shared / collaborative services. 
• Share good practice and experience on a formal and integrated basis. 

We have 9 regional networks in England, covering all library services and ranging in size from 9 to 33 services. Within each region they provide hundreds of library branches, thousands of staff, and serve millions of service users.  They have a long tradition of working together as peer support networks and to deliver activities such as festivals, marketing, and staff training.

Job summary

This role will predominantly support the Service Delivery Managers and Support Officer across the UK in the effective planning and delivery of wheelchair skills training to meet the strategic objectives. The postholder will be required to work directly with young people and their families, schools, colleagues, partner organisations and professionals, delivering accredited training across the UK.

The person

You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. You will have a friendly and professional approach to working with families and professionals and be highly organised to manage planning, delivery and relevant paperwork for all wheelchair skills services. 

Key accountabilities

• Coordination and delivery of wheelchair skills training, travel training and train the trainer across the UK.
• Conduct on site visits prior to delivery of travel training to plan routes and inform risk assessments.
• Book relevant modes of transport for travel training sessions.
• Writing Service Level Agreements for key partners; content providers and schools.
• Obtaining information from content providers and schools, such as Public Liability, DBS and key Risk Assessments.
• Writing Care Plans & Risk Assessments.
• Ensure schools complete paperwork for accredited services and liaise with Skills & Education group regarding learners
• Sending event invites to young people and families and updating the database as required.
• Updating all documentation for events and participants onto the database.
• Promoting Whizz Kidz services to third party organisations in order to drive new applications/referrals.
• Attending events such as Kidz to Adultz exhibitions to promote Whizz Kidz and showcase wheelchair skills training.
