The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for UK schools, you will play a pivotal role in growing our school partner base which will enable us to support even more young people with making informed decisions about their next steps.
You will need to be target-driven and proactive. While you will be fully supported by the UK schools team, you will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.
Your key responsibilities:
Strategic Outreach: Design tailored campaigns to engage Headteachers, Careers Leads and Trust Executives in a smart and compelling way.
Lead Generation: Communicate with non-partner schools and colleges to explain how Unifrog supports student outcomes and Gatsby Benchmark and PSHE compliance, and secure online demonstrations for our Area Managers.
Inbound Lead Management: Act as the first port of call for all new partnership enquiries from individual schools, colleges and Multi-Academy Trusts.
Collaboration: Work closely with our UK schools team to understand regional challenges and identify how your outreach can best support the growth of their specific territories.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate custom reports on our CRM database to identify opportunities for growth, cleanse Mutli-Academy Trust accounts, and analyse campaign performance.
Market Intelligence: Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK ed-tech landscape and the evolving statutory requirements for careers guidance in schools.
Working together

Purpose of the job

You will shape the strategy, grow and steward our community of individual supporters, and define what this looks like for Wish. What you will be doing
You will identify, engage and grow a community of individual supporters who feel deeply connected to our mission, developing propositions and campaigns that are emotionally compelling and inspire long-term giving. Experience developing, growing or significantly influencing individual giving income streams, including regular giving and lottery programmes, and engaging supporters at scale to inspire long-term and higher-value giving. Experience of managing the end-to-end supporter journey through CRM systems, using insight and data to drive acquisition, retention and growth.

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.
When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).
VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Resource Centre Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dispensing Optician, Sensory Equipment Specialist, or experienced practitioner with service management skills to lead and develop a well-established Resource Centre.
You will play a central role in supporting people who are blind, partially sighted, Deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind to access assistive equipment and technology that maintains independence and improves quality of life.
The role includes leading the day-to-day running of the Resource Centre, ensuring a high-quality, person-centred service, and working collaboratively across the organisation. There is also scope to shape and grow the service, including developing new income opportunities and resources. You will be line managing a small team of staff and volunteers.
We are looking for someone with experience in sensory support, strong organisational and people management skills, and confidence in advising on equipment and practical solutions. You will be proactive, flexible and committed to improving outcomes for the people we support.
This is primarily an office-based role with some travel across Surrey.

At the Social Change Nest (SCN), we’re radically transforming the funding landscape and strengthening civil society. We remove the financial and administrative barriers – like bank accounts and legal structures – that often prevent communities, grassroots groups and informal movements from accessing funding and focusing on their core mission.
