The Role:
Lead, develop and provide hands on delivery of existing and new income generating events
Be an active and positive member of the Fundraising Leadership Team (FLT)
Work with the FLT and Marcomms team to continually deliver and develop events, effective communications income through engagement with existing and new stakeholders.
Deliver an ambitious annual fundraising events six figure income target
Deliver hands on end-to-end activity in the delivery of events, working with colleagues and delegating where appropriate
Manage and report on all activity, risk, income and expenditure, as required and to meet all stakeholder expectations
The Candidate:
Experience of effectively leading and delivering end to end project management

We're investing in the future of our Ministry Services work, developing innovative ways to support churches and Christian charities with the practical foundations they need to flourish. As part of this journey, we're seeking a strategic thinker and skilled delivery leader to help turn bold ambitions into reality.
This is a rare opportunity to work alongside our Executive Team, influencing the direction of a significant new area of work at a key stage of development. You'll bring clarity to complexity, transforming ideas into actionable plans and ensuring strategic priorities become tangible outcomes.
You'll work closely with the Executive Team to:
• Shape and deliver the next phase of our Ministry Services strategy.
• Lead strategic projects from concept through to implementation.
• Explore new opportunities, partnerships and potential acquisitions.
• Build business cases, commercial models and strategic recommendations.
• Gather market insight and test assumptions to inform future growth.
• Design operating models, governance structures and delivery frameworks.
• Engage stakeholders across the organisation, helping people embrace and navigate change.
You'll be someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges and creating order where there is uncertainty. You combine strategic insight with strong execution skills and are motivated by seeing meaningful change take shape.
You'll likely bring experience from strategy consulting, corporate development, transformation, business planning or a similar environment, together with:
• Excellent commercial and analytical capability.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience developing business cases and strategic proposals.
• Confidence operating with senior leaders and external partners.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to balance long-term vision with practical delivery.

Asylum Link Merseyside is looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead our fundraising activity and coordinate our external communications at an important stage in the charity’s development.
Based at St Anne’s Centre in Liverpool, we provide practical support, specialist advice and opportunities for connection and participation to people seeking asylum in Liverpool and others who access our services from across Merseyside.
The role will focus on developing high-quality funding applications and maintaining relationships with funders. It will also involve developing selected income streams and coordinating communications across our website, social media and supporter channels.
We are looking for someone with a successful track record in fundraising, excellent writing and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Communications experience is desirable.
