This role at ISEAL is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administration experience, interested in moving into a HR role or broadening their HR experience in an organisation is now consolidating recent growth. With significant recent growth in employee numbers and with staff based both in London and international locations, the HR function is looking to continue to strengthen its processes to provide excellent support throughout the employee lifecycle. Continuing the improvement journey already started, you will coordinate the induction processes for new employees as well as supporting regular HR processes linked to probation and performance reviews and employee communications.

The Coordinator will take a lead in bringing new ideas on how to develop the learning programme as well as coordinating relevant training and developing a more consistent approach to training provision. The role will also have the opportunity to contribute to optimising our remaining HR processes and procedures, helping to identify opportunities for improvements and taking ownership of the introduction of a new HR system to provide easy to access services for staff.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a proven interest in working in HR, possibly with studies in a related field or work experience in a HR/administrative setting. You will be organised and a strong communicator. You understand the confidential nature of HR and enjoy supporting others and ensuring they get the best out of their time at ISEAL. A specific interest, or existing experience with, learning and development would be a bonus.

The Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:

HR administration

• Support Senior Manager, HR & Operations in day-to-day delivery of ISEAL´s HR provision
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, contracts, and HR records in line with legal requirements in the UK and other locations of employment
• Support onboarding processes, coordinating and overseeing employee inductions, including ownership of keeping Employee Handbook up to date
• Help with and monitor the implementation and administration of all HR policies, procedures and tools
• Develop and deliver guidance and training for ISEAL staff and line managers about HR policies, practices and procedures
• Organise timely review of policies and communication of updates or changes to any such documents and procedures
• Coordinate annual performance review processes, ensuring timely completion of documents
• When required, support recruitment process managed by external consultant

Improvement to Processes

• Input to continued improvement of Learning and Development provision
• Implement move to new HR system, including contributing ideas for how best to use the system
• Support revision of HR policies to ensure all policies are up-to-date and new policies produced if needed

Systems, data and reporting

• Improve processes and systems for HR data capture and to ensure consistent and accurate data
• Help identify an appropriate HR system for increased automation of HR processes and employee self service functions
• Analyse employee and HR data and help prepare regular reports 

Essential experience, knowledge and attributes

• Experience working in the HR function in a small to medium sized organisation
• Experience working on learning and development function
• Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, working with a variety of administrative systems and tools
• Track record in contributing to improving processes or procedures
• Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals in a partly remote, international environment, including occasional international time-zone calls
• Service-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills enabling effective relationships with internal clients and other stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English, with proven ability to provide clear guidance both in verbal and written format

Working hours and location

This role will ideally be hybrid / London-based. We can currently provide London office space on Mondays (Victoria), Thursdays (Shoreditch) and Fridays (Victoria). (Please note we don’t currently have any other staff members in the office on a Friday.) We will occasionally hold team days in London - you will be given advance notice of these dates. We may be able to offer remote working for an exceptional candidate, but our preference would be for a hybrid schedule with at least one day in the office (Monday or Thursday) per week - please note this could be a shorter day, e.g. 9-3 to accommodate other commitments.

We are looking for a Foster Scheme Coordinator to coordinate Battersea’s London Foster Scheme, working in conjunction with Operations and Clinic in sourcing suitable temporary homes for those dogs in our London site requiring foster and supporting both foster carers and dogs during their time away from Battersea.
The Foster Scheme Coordinator will maximise further growth impact and development of the Foster Scheme and the engagement and retention of our Foster Carers through the implementation of the Volunteering and Fostering strategy for Battersea.
They will provide guidance and support to existing and potential Foster Carers including managing their expectations.

This is a hands-on role combining operational delivery, systems development, stakeholder management, and line management of a small team.

 Alexandra Rose run practical place-based food system transformation projects based around a voucher for fresh fruit & veg. We currently have 9 projects across the UK, and we’re aiming to scale in the coming years. Each project operates the same model, but each project adapts to work with different communities, different languages, different community support infrastructure, different retail options, and more.

At the core, we work with local trusted community organisations who distribute our vouchers to local families on low incomes with young children, and in some areas to local adults on low incomes managing food related health conditions (diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, etc). Voucher distribution is linked to a range of wider wrap around services to ensure that our projects support people in getting out of poverty in real and long-lasting ways. Our vouchers area accepted exclusively by local, independent healthy food businesses, ensuring that we are also supporting a fairer, healthier local food economy.

Our model directly tackles the barriers of affordability and accessibility to the most nutrient dense and most expensive element of a healthy diet. We change the health outcomes of young children and adults living with food related health conditions. We actively change the food environment that is available to a range of people who have been disadvantaged for decades.

As we grow nationally and expand the reach of our projects across multiple regions, we need strong operational leadership to ensure we can deliver consistently, efficiently and with confidence. You will help shape the systems and structures that support our operations, building on the strong work of our existing project teams.

This role is central to developing an operational approach that is both standardised and adaptable, supporting diverse communities while ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, data collection and organisational resilience. We are a small, values-driven charity providing peer support services to bereaved adults. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee the charity’s general operations and ensure the effective, compliant delivery of our services.

This is an operational role, working closely with the Global Lead, Volunteer Coordinator, and volunteers with responsibility across operations, finance, safeguarding, governance, and service delivery.

About FFLAG

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity and is the UK’s longest established parent support charity in the LGBT+ sector. Our history began in the grassroots parent helplines of the 1960s, grew through the 1980’s and 90’s as we supported anxious parents and fought against the discrimination of Section 28, becoming a formally registered charity in 2000.

Our work sounds simple, but it is life changing. We help parents and families understand, accept and support their LGBT+ family members with love and pride.

We offer a range of support options spanning 121 online and helpline support services, to a UK-wide monthly group Zoom meeting and face to face local groups. We also have an extensive collection of online resources and guides.  We attend as many Pride events as we can and our work supports thousands of families every year. This support is provided by an active base of FFLAG volunteers who are parents of LGBT+ children themselves, supported by other volunteers and allies.

Reporting directly to the Chair, working closely with the Board of Trustees and supported by a part-time Volunteer Engagement & Events Coordinator you will:

• Lead and supervise the daily operational functions, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of services.

Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a real difference, every day, to people from all walks of life? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to BIAS’s mission of reducing social isolation among older Irish people and creating a warm and welcoming space for the whole community.

The Active Ageing Coordinator will run BIAS’s very popular twice-weekly active ageing lunch clubs in Dollis Hill and Cricklewood, which attract over 50 attendees per session, working with a team of volunteers to coordinate activities including Irish music, dancing and bingo. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person who is happy to take a hands-on approach to the development and delivery of our active ageing project. You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to proactively build positive relationships with volunteers and service users, along with excellent organisational abilities.

The project (funded by the Irish Government’s Emigrant Support Programme) will also involve delivering occasional special events for club members, such as St Patrick’s Day and Christmas celebrations and health and wellbeing days. You will need a strong capacity to build relationships and partnerships with other organisations and community groups in the borough, and a willingness to work with the leadership team on the marketing and development of the clubs, including via social media.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take the lead on the day-to-day running of BIAS’s two active ageing clubs in Brent, ensuring that they are welcoming, accessible and available to all.
• Carry out administrative tasks necessary for the successful running of the clubs, including shopping for club supplies, preparing refreshments, setting up music, organising entertainment and banking attendance fees, working within agreed budgets.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all club members during club sessions, and manage communication and additional engagement with members outside of club sessions.
• Record and maintain member and attendance information in BIAS’s client management system.
• Where needed and possible, provide support to BIAS’s Active Ageing Coordinator in Haringey borough, and cooperate on joint club initiatives.

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-friend volunteer scheme. We’re looking for an Operations & Logistics Supervisor who is practical, organised and motivated by impact. Someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, keep things moving, and take pride in making sure goods reach the right place, at the right time, in the right condition.

The Sheppard Trust provides homes for older women in housing need, and we support them to live independently.  We reduce loneliness and isolation by fostering a supportive community spirit. 

We're planning to move to brand-new, purpose built accommodation near Hampton Court village in Surrey.   Whilst we wait for the build to complete, 20 of our existing residents are temporarily housed in Mill Hill, with 4 housed in Greenford.  Their new homes are expected to be ready in July 2026.   The aim of this role is to support these residents before, during and after our move, as well as to plan, organise and deliver the logistics of the moves.

We're a small friendly team who are currently flexibly hybrid working.  This role is based on 21 hours a week, with two visits per week to Mill Hill and occasional visits to Greenford and Hampton Court.  The rest of the work could be carried out from home if desired.  From July to September when the moves take place the workload will be higher and more on-site attendance may be necessary on move days.   

The right appointment is important to us, so we're willing to discuss proposals for alternative working arrangements including adding additional responsibilities to create a full time role. There will be the opportunity to apply for permanent positions at the  new site if wished.
