We’re looking for a Principal Gifts Manager, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with those whose generous contributions make a transformational impact on the work we do.
What does this job do?
As Principal Gift Manager, you will:
- build and manage relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families to secure six- and seven-figure multi-year gifts,
- develop tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies that deliver exceptional donor experiences and long-term engagement,
- identify and progress new principal gift prospects, strengthening the pipeline and contributing to long-term income growth,
- work closely with senior leaders, trustees, and internal teams to maximise high-value fundraising opportunities and develop compelling cases for support.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Friday 18th September and Monday 21st September, and will take place on Teams.

Lewisham Parochial & Almshouse Charities is looking for a Clerk to the Trustees: an experienced, independent-minded governance professional to support our board on governance, finance and administration.
We are a small group of four historic charities, amalgamated by Charity Commission scheme in 1990 but with roots reaching back over 400 years in the ancient parish of Lewisham. We run the Lloyd Court almshouse in Ladywell, providing independent housing for older residents, and award small grants across the parish. Our staff team is small — a House Manager and a Premises Manager on site — supported by a board of volunteer trustees.
What you'll do:
- clerk the board and its committees, including agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up;
- maintain the three-year budget and prepare the annual accounts for audit and filing with the Charity Commission;
- keep statutory and operational records, policies and compliance in good order;
- advise trustees on charity law, regulation and good practice;
- and work with the House Manager so trustees stay sighted on day-to-day operations.
What you'll need:

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively deep-dive on organisational problems and processes, applying problem-solving and decision-making skills. About the role
As Senior Management Accountant, you will report to the Director of Finance & Operations and take ownership of a broad range of management accounting and financial management responsibilities.
You will lead on the preparation of management accounts, budget monitoring, forecasting, reconciliations, cashflow reporting, payroll review and financial controls.
A key part of the role will be providing clear financial insight and commentary to the Director of Finance & Operations, senior leaders, trustees and budget holders, helping ensure financial information translates into effective organisational decision-making.
You will also have supervisory responsibilities, providing technical guidance to colleagues, reviewing finance work and helping to ensure the team consistently delivers accurate work to agreed deadlines.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

About you
We are seeking a fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS or equivalent.
You will have a strong management accounting background and experience across areas such as management accounts, forecasting, budget monitoring, reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes.
We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have experience of:
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Financial controls and reconciliations
- Audit preparation and supporting audit queries
- Improving financial systems and processes
- Working accurately to tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel and financial data analysis
Experience within a school, academy trust, charity, public sector or similarly regulated environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of academy finance requirements, ESFA returns and school MIS platforms would also be desirable.
You will be a confident communicator who can explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders, challenge appropriately and build strong relationships across an organisation.

About the role
As Digital Project Manager you will take responsibility for major web development projects across and work closely with fundraising to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Work with internal teams and third parties to ensure that all aspects of our projects are delivered accurately and to required deadlines Consult with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, building on the initial feasibility work of the Product Manager.
- Create and maintain project plans and establish commitment to plan with the stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Maintain the integrity of the project and push back when the scope creeps or suggested budgets are not realistic.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven track record of successful Project Management (PM) on digital projects, including planning, scoping and specification phase
- Strong understanding of enterprise level Content Management Systems
- Ability to work independently under own initiative
- Strong communication skills, including ability to influence stakeholders
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Working knowledge of Drupal CMS
- Experience working with outsourced development agencies
- Good understanding of user experience (UX) and information architecture principles
