The Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) is a Charity and Company Limited by guarantee and is the representative body for Directors of Public Health (DPH) in the UK. The Role
As a Triage and Early Intervention Officer, you will be the first point of contact via telephone, text or email for clients referred to the service. You will conduct comprehensive impact and risk assessments, provide immediate and short-term interventions, and ensure that each client receives tailored support that meets their individual needs.
As a Triage and Early Interventions Officer you will:
- Conduct comprehensive impact and risk assessments for clients.
- Provide tailored responses to clients' needs, including children and young people and those affected by domestic abuse, ensuring they are aware of their rights.
- Manage a caseload of clients requiring immediate and short-term interventions, developing support plans and referring to other agencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case management records.
- Work as part of a team and collaborate with statutory and voluntary agencies to address clients' needs.
About You
Ideally you will have an understanding of the impact of crime and the criminal justice system. Experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting is also beneficial.
You will need:

- Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
- To work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- To develop and maintain partnerships with external organisations.

The role

Key responsibilities

· Event promotion: Develop marketing plans for events and programs, including fundraisers, workshops, visitor programming, and awareness campaigns.
· Website management: Ensure the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, compliant with data protection legislation, and aligned with brand guidelines.
· Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing and communication campaigns, the website and social media providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Work with the Head of Marketing & Commercial Operations to enhance audience understanding through research, surveys and effective use of CRM.

The service offers specialist support to homeless men across a range of areas including re-offending behaviour, mental health issues, physical health needs and substance misuse. Edward Alsop Court implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.
As a maintenance worker, you will be responsible for small responsive/maintenance items (for example replacement of bulbs, batteries, tightening of screws etc) to internal elements and components; PAT test items; internal decorations; cleaning of communal spaces; removal of minor items; fixture and fittings such as shower curtains, mirrors, bathroom fittings (toilet seats, toilet rolls holders etc); assembly furniture; bins removal; there will be a weekly rota with tasks allocated to each day which will be given weekly; support with shopping deliveries.
The working hours for this role is: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

* Carry out weekly checks (water checks, fire call points check, fire doors check, lint removal from laundry room, emergency lights check, fire extinguishers check, communal areas check, courtyard cleaning, fire escapes check).

Our Nightlight Service is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis centres, crisis cafes and a weekend Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. As a member of our team you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach as to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect.
The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services are:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Edward Alsop Court service in Westminster. No personal care or experience is required, just the right values.
£28,808.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

What you'll do:
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible
Adhere to Look Ahead' Policies and Procedures
Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills
Provide day-to-day instruction/supervision of Assistant Support Workers/domestic staff/Personal Support Assistants where appropriate
Undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned
