About us
Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.
To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Community and Events Fundraiser to develop their experience, to work within the community to increase and diversify our income stream and strengthen our charity’s profile.
The Community and Events Fundraiser is responsible for planning and delivering a varied range and scale of fundraising and events in the community.
You will proactively manage projects and build strong relationships with individuals, businesses and community groups, while also supporting and developing volunteers and their involvement.
As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Legacies Officer and Trusts and Foundations Officer to help deliver an annual income target of £400k+.
Alongside maximising opportunities with our existing supporters, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing new ideas, partnerships and activities. Your work will help to grow this vital income stream and ensure we continue to engage with the communities and organisations that champion Greyhound Rescue Wales.

Location: Home-based, with monthly team meetings in London, access to workspace at King's College London, occasional travel for meetings, events and visits to University Maths Schools.
Salary: £44,000–£47,000
Hours: Full time or part time (0.8-1.0FTE)
Contract: Permanent
Sector: Education
Help young people with an affinity for mathematics thrive.
We're looking for a Data + Insights Manager to build shared data systems, analyse national data and help a network of schools make better decisions.
This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity at an exciting stage of its development. You'll help schools collect and use data more effectively, develop shared systems that save time and improve practice, and build the insight that helps schools, funders and U-Maths make better decisions.
If you enjoy turning real-world data into practical insight and want your work to have a national impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Why U-Maths?
U-Maths is the national charity for University Maths Schools.
Our vision is that every young person with an affinity for mathematics can thrive and succeed.
Our mission is to advance excellence and equity in mathematics education by strengthening and growing the national network of University Maths Schools.
There are currently nine state-funded University Maths Schools, each established in partnership with a leading university and specialising in mathematics and the mathematical sciences for students aged 16–19. The network continues to grow, with two further schools in Nottingham and Durham due to open.
Together, these schools are helping more young people – particularly those from backgrounds currently under-represented in the mathematical sciences – to access an outstanding mathematics education and progress to ambitious futures.
Why this role?
Schools are stronger when they work together.
By developing shared data systems, high-quality analysis and robust evidence at national level, U-Maths helps every University Maths School understand its work, strengthen its impact and reduce unnecessary duplication.
As our Data + Insights Manager, you'll play a central role in making that happen.
About the role
You'll lead U-Maths' work on data and insight across the network.
You'll help schools collect, manage and use data more effectively, develop and support a shared outreach CRM, produce high-quality reporting for schools and funders, and strengthen the evidence that helps U-Maths understand and improve its impact.
You'll also work with partners such as the Observatory for Mathematical Education to support robust national analysis and benchmarking where specialist expertise is needed.
What you'll be doing
You'll:
About you
You'll enjoy this role if you like making sense of data, improving systems and helping other people use them well.
You might have developed your skills in education, the charity sector, widening participation, evaluation, operations, CRM implementation or another setting where careful use of data matters. We're more interested in the skills, judgement and approach you bring than in where you have gained them.
We're looking for someone who:
Why join us?
You'll be joining a small national team with the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to one of the UK's most successful educational innovations.
We offer:
We're aiming for the successful candidate to start on 1 December 2026, with some flexibility.
Interested? Download the full application pack via the U-Maths website.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

About Voice 21
Oracy is our ability to articulate our ideas, develop understanding, and engage with others through speaking, listening and communication. Like reading, writing and maths, oracy is fundamental for learning and life. Every child should be taught how to use their voice to thrive in education and beyond. Voice 21 is the national charity on a mission to secure high quality oracy education for every child. We know that teaching oracy skills improves children’s confidence, wellbeing, engagement and attainment. We support teachers and school leaders to weave oracy into everyday teaching and whole-school culture, to transform learning and outcomes for their pupils. We focus where we can make the most difference, in state schools that serve economically disadvantaged pupils. We also work to influence national policy and champion oracy across the education system. Follow the links to find out more about why oracy is so vital and the impact Voice 21 has.
About this role

Within 3 months, you’ll:
Review corporate partnerships strategy; build targeted list of new corporate prospects; develop partnerships propositions with colleagues.
Within 6 months, you’ll:

Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities.
Proactivity and assertiveness, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities, along with the tenacity to secure meetings.
Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance, and report on outcomes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.
Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.
Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising. There is also a full-time Fundraising Officer in the team who will provide some support for this role. The postholder should expect to work regularly with the CEO and wider leadership team. Fundraising sits within Voice 21’s Operations Directorate.
