We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join our Communities team at Sovereign Network Group. You’ll help to shape and deliver our exciting new Energy Support service, aiming to be proactive and preventative in fuel and energy insecurity. You’ll be working in the community and with customers across our geography.

The Role

You’ll be part of our Financial Inclusion team, looking holistically at customers and their household circumstances and finding innovative ways to support them to make sustained changes. You’ll be working with partners, building new relationships both internally and externally, with an overall aim to aid our customers to become financially resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and enhancing financial inclusion initiatives, with a primary focus on energy-related projects
• Collaborating with customer support teams to ensure impactful delivery of financial inclusion offers
• Supporting operational activities of Financial Inclusion programs across SNG communities
• Working closely with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to identify new delivery partners and continue to develop financial inclusion offers for sustained positive customer impact
• Reporting and analysing on program impacts to evaluate value for money and guide future planning

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, with an understanding of financial inclusion challenges and its impacts would be beneficial but isn’t essential. You will need:

• A proactive, creative, and innovative approach to your work and problem-solving 
• A customer-centric mindset, ensuring customer needs are at the forefront
• Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to engage colleagues and external partners effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis, particularly with high-volume datasets
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook

Fine Cell Work are looking for an exceptionally supportive and non-judgemental individual to act as the first point of contact and underpin all aspects of Fine Cell Work's post-prison programme, Open The Gate (OTG). 

Beyond skills for employment, OTG offers a range of support to prison-leavers, who we refer to as Apprentices. The Engagement Support Officer will be responsible for establishing sustainable referral pathways with external partners, recruiting OTG Apprentices in line with organisational strategy, and preparing individual risk assessments and tailored support plans. They will also be responsible for the development of OTG’s remote support scheme and for supporting volunteer employment mentors alongside the Volunteer and Programmes Manager.

Our purpose

Fine Cell Work is a rehabilitation charity and social enterprise that teaches prisoners and prison-leavers to make beautiful handmade products.  The making and selling of high quality needlework boosts their self-worth, instils self-discipline and fosters hope.  Our aim is for our stitchers to finish their sentences with work skills, money earned and saved, and the self-belief to not re-offend.  We also guide them towards training and support on release.  At the Fine Cell Work Hub in Battersea, we run our Open the Gate programme which provides work experience, formal training and employment to prison-leavers. 

The role

As well as offering person-centred support and helping to shape our post-release programmes, you would be responsible for:

• Presenting and promoting Open the Gate among external partners including HMP resettlement teams, probation services, approved premises and other organisations supporting prison-leavers on their resettlement journey.
• Assisting with the development of risk management plans including information gathering, dissemination, and regular review.
• Providing day to day practical, emotional, and sign-posting support to a caseload of adult Apprentices engaging with Open the Gate and providing ad hoc support to past Apprentices when required.
• Action planning and setting out individual objectives with all Apprentices, supporting them to achieve work-ready outcomes in an agreed period.
• Working with the team to research and liaise with offender support and employment agencies beyond FCW, signposting Apprentices and supporting mentors with appropriate signposting and referrals to partner agencies.
• Working with the wider team at FCW to develop and coordinate a series of employability and creative wellbeing workshops for Apprentices.
• Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe recording of all information and personal data.
• Responding to safeguarding concerns in line with FCW policy and procedure.
• Providing remote support via telephone and online to FCW experienced prison-leavers who do not live in London and the Southeast.
• Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager with delivering the Service User Involvement Strategy and championing service user involvement across the organisation more broadly.
• Supporting the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to recruit and deliver training to mentors and other volunteers in roles supporting OTG Apprentices.
• Working with the Volunteer and Programmes Manager to develop and enhance the OTG Mentor Offer including as the first point of contact for Mentors pre- and post- mentoring sessions.

This role is full time and based in our offices in Battersea, South London. Whilst we offer a supportive and flexible working environment, the successful candidate will need to be in the office full time (with occasional working from home)

• Secure local, regional and national press coverage of HWR work in a variety of publications.

This post is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and progressive team, working within an international federation that supports children and young people across the world. We are looking for someone who is committed to learning and innovating, who can combine technical knowledge and expertise with locally led approaches.

Reporting to the Head of Programme Funding, you will work across the fundraising team, supporting programme set up and reporting, in line with key funding criteria and SOS Children’s Villages monitoring frameworks. You will work with colleagues in SOS Children’s Villages UK and internationally, building capacity in programme design, monitoring and reporting. This includes working with colleagues in multiple countries, collaborating on best practice MEAL work whilst being guided by local knowledge and expertise.

You will hold oversight of the portfolio of programmes being funded by SOS Children’s Villages UK, ensuring the UK based team have the tools, resources and processes to monitor programmes, in partnership with our international colleagues. You will manage reporting timelines, supporting your colleagues to ensure effective delivery of programme reporting, according to the needs of SOS Children’s Villages UK and external donors. You will provide hands on support for the monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting of programmes, taking a lead role in the development of frameworks that will ensure effective capture of data enabling excellent reporting.

We are embarking on ambitious work around data analysis and research, and any experience you have in these fields will be highly valuable, and the appetite to explore them is essential.

You will be an active participant in networks, both globally and within the UK, contributing to our organisational knowledge on how to better monitor and analyse key areas such as gender and inclusivity within our programmes.

This is a home-based role, with regular travel within the UK as well as some international travel which you must be able to undertake.

We are looking for someone with comprehensive knowledge of MEAL systems and processes, and with at least four years of experience in a monitoring, evaluation and/or impact assessment role.

Main purpose and scope of Role

This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. This role initially focuses on the following, but is subject to change as programmes are launched or evolved:

PTA Programme

• Growing our network of PTAs.
• Supporting PTAs through leadership transition to minimise PTAs closing unnecessarily.
• Organising gatherings of PTAs to enhance the PTA community.
• Providing training and awareness sessions for PTAs.
• Providing community support to PTAs during peak activity periods online or by phone.
• Helping schools establish PTAs and supporting them during their first year through our new PTA Launchpad programme.
• Hosting and co-ordinating virtual webinars/meetings to demonstrate the value of PTA membership and the support available. 

Parent Programme

• Raising awareness of Parentkind’s growing programme of support for parents, directly or indirectly through schools or other partners.
• Building relationships with parent groups to support engagement with our growing suite of parent support opportunities.
• Organising events for parents as part of our Parent Programme.
• Building relationships with regional stakeholders to support Parent Programme activities.

Other Programmes/Services

• Encouraging uptake or (when charged) sales of our broad and growing suite of programmes and services.
• Identifying and engaging with local and regional partners for our range of programmes.
• Feeding into programme design.

Wider Stakeholder Engagement:

• Attending appropriate conferences and educational meetings across the region. 
• Developing relationships with key local authorities and individuals so they advocate our services and the benefits of our programmes
• Developing relationships with MATs so that they can advocate Parentkind and the benefits of its programmes.
• Identify any opportunities for external funding to from LA’s, Companies, or other funders with the support of our fundraising team.

Organisational Effectiveness: 

• Create and implement operational annual plans and schedules to support our regional targets, ensuring that time specific milestones for their delivery are met.
• Regularly report on the health of our campaigns within your region, through identified KPIs and organisational targets.
• Ensure all knowledge and information is recorded, processed and maintained according to good administration practice.

General

• To keep abreast of relevant educational policy and legislation affecting our key audiences.
• To be flexible within the broad remit of the post.
• To undertake other duties as reasonably requested by the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer to join our very busy team!

The organisation has a strong safeguarding ethos promoting the overall safety, safeguarding and welfare of all of our members. We are seeking individuals who have experience of the voluntary youth or community sector or other relevant professional field and have direct practice experience of working with children & young people in a safeguarding context.  You will have experience and knowledge of statutory requirements, understand Early Help and best practice guidance, relating to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Our safeguarding team operates centrally in London where we are responsible for providing support, advice and guidance to our volunteers relating on all safeguarding matters across the UK. Our safeguarding Officers act as our lead professionals in managing safeguarding casework in line with our policy, procedures and statutory duty.

You will create a series of employability programmes based on our flagship FareChance model, supporting NEET people.  And you will build and work with our volunteer, employability and warehouse teams to ensure they have the skills, support and training needed to manage the volunteeer workforce and deliver the employability programmes across the charity.

About the Role

This role supports strategy and implementation of behavioural change best practice in our country programmes with a focus on gender-transformative approaches and reaching key populations and vulnerable groups such as adolescents, people in extreme poverty, people living with disability, and those with low-literacy.

This role will provide focused technical assistance to MSI country programmes, supporting formative analysis, strategy development, coordination, capacity strengthening, mentorship, and implementation of gender-transformative and inclusive programme activities for behaviour change. It will also support donor and fundraising teams within MSI to include appropriate GESI language and best practice approaches into new proposal design.

The GESI Programming Specialist will also work with the Evidence and Impact team to document and share successes and challenges in gender and inclusion programming and support the dissemination of best practice approaches. The learnings and outcomes generated from key projects will be used to strengthen gender equality and social inclusion programming across MSI’s global partnership, significantly contributing to delivery of MSI’s 2030 strategy.

This role reports to the Head of SBC and Inclusion in the Technical Services Department, which supports gender, inclusion, and SBC programming across MSI.

• Significant experience developing and embedding gender-transformative SBC strategies in an international development context.
• Experience at a regional or global level is an advantage, especially in building best practices and motivating teams to adopt tools, new ways of working.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure gender mainstreaming and social inclusion integration in project design, implementation, and M&E.
• Demonstrated capacity strengthening experience, including developing and conducting trainings, mentorship, and coaching of government, local, and community partners.

The Inclusion Officer will be responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of the Trust’s social inclusion programmes across Northamptonshire, this includes the Premier League Kicks programme and anti-crime initiatives. The Premier League Kicks programme is a flagship targeted project, which uses the power of football and sports participation, alongside personal development activities, to help hard-to-reach young people in some of the most high-need areas. 

The Inclusion Officer will be integral to the successful delivery and growth of the Kicks Programme across Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and development of the Kicks programme, as well as other disability and inclusion projects that help to connect communities, leading a team to deliver these initiatives. In addition, the post holder will have frontline delivery responsibility, engaging with young people, leading on the delivery of youth engagement sessions, and the delivery of educational workshops in the local community.

About the role

Sightsavers' NTD/Inclusion Finance, Risk and Support Team oversees a portfolio of over £100 million, ensuring donor compliance across finance, audit, risk, and supply chain operations. We are dedicated to delivering value and supporting Sightsavers' mission through meticulous management of contracts and grants.

• Financial Oversight: Conduct reviews and provide feedback on financial documents for RLM and other programmes, ensuring partners and Sightsavers' staff maintain rigorous standards.

• Collaborative Planning: Work closely with technical and operational teams to compile donor submissions, including financial reports and risk assessments, adhering to strict deadlines.

The Finance and Risk Officer will take on the pivotal role of managing the finances for the innovative Reach the Last Mile (RLM) programme. With a hands-on approach, you will ensure the day-to-day financial operations are executed flawlessly, under the expert guidance of our senior team. Your responsibilities will not only be confined to the meticulous management of the RLM programme but will also extend to providing essential budget support for upcoming proposals. This role is tailor-made for a finance professional who is eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Jobholder Requirements

Essential:

• Able to demonstrate finance and accountancy experience. Working towards an accountancy qualification a strong advantage but not essential.
• Awareness of overseas development context gained through working in the INGO sector is preferable but not essential
• Experience of institutional donor or contract management preferable

Desirable:

• Proficiency with Excel (including pivot tables) is required and experience of a computer-based accounting system
• Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI is desirable
• Strong attention to detail with a willingness to follow issues through to resolution

• Willingness to continuously develop skills and knowledge to remain current with donor funding developments
