We are seeking an accomplished and committed person to join us in the role of Prospect Research Manager.
Based in the University of Oxford’s Development and Alumni Engagement department, the Prospect Research Team drives the ambitious fundraising activities of the University. It does this in a number of ways, and the major focus of this role is on the team’s work in carrying out due diligence research as part of the University’s donations acceptance process.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Prospect Research and working alongside two other Prospect Research Managers in a wider team, the postholder will play a key role in overseeing our crucial work in this area. The role also offers the opportunity of line management responsibilities.

About the role
Reporting to the Director, Finance and Operations, the role of Senior Officer, Finance and Operations plays an important role in supporting the seamless functioning of both the HSI/UK and HSI/EU teams while also working closely with Finance, HR & IT colleagues in the US. Areas of focus include accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and monthly reporting, as well as providing wide-ranging operational support across a number of different areas including legal/contracts, HR and IT.
Key responsibilities
Financial Administration (30%)
- Accounts Payable: Create POs according to the A/P policy, ensure all invoices are correctly logged & submitted for payment, ensure timely payment of all invoices, review weekly report of unposted invoices and outstanding payments and take action as needed.
- Accounts Receivable: Ensure all donations are properly coded & documented.
- Expenses Reporting: Ensure timely submission of employee expenses and debit and credit card transactions.
- Review financial transactions monthly to ensure income and expenditure are recorded correctly in the general ledger.
- Provide monthly reporting to all budget holders in the UK and EU.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as needed.
Contracts Management (30%)
- Working with the UK and EU teams, oversee the creation, submission and signing of all supplier contracts.
- Work with the Office of General Counsel in the US to ensure each contract is compliant with organisational policies and procedures.
- Maintain a log showing stage of each document in the process.
Operational Support (40%)
- Be the first point of contact for operational queries to campaigns and fundraising teams in UK and EU

We are seeking an Animal Training & Behaviour Manager to join our friendly head office team based in Watford, striving to give every animal the best chance of finding a new home.
You will be working for a charity that never stops caring for its animals and people. As a rescue and rehoming charity, operating five rehoming centres and three shops across the south of England, we are committed to improving the lives of the UK’s pets, helping around 1,500 animals each year.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, in this new role you will support and mentor the centre teams in assessing cats and dogs, providing positive reinforcement training and behaviour support to animals in NAWT care. Liaising with centre management teams you will develop behavioural modification plans and identify the development requirements for centre employees and volunteers to contribute to their development plans. You will collaborate with new owners to provide post homing support for any complex behaviour challenges displayed by newly homed pets.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct timely and objective behaviour assessments of dogs and cats whose behaviour concerns have been escalated to the Training and Behaviour Manager;
- Regular travel to the five NAWT homing centres to conduct training sessions with teams, animal assessments and provide other areas of support required;
- Ensure all behaviour plans applied at centres are evidence based and have a positive effect on the pet’s welfare;
- Ensure up to date knowledge in animal behaviour is adopted by the centre teams and used to create training and development plans;
- Support centre teams with completing regular audits on assessment quality, length of stay and the advertising of pets in NAWT care;
- Plan and deliver agreed training on cats and dogs behaviour/training knowledge and welfare matters to NAWT employees and volunteers to ensure centre teams continually improve their knowledge to effectively work with and rehome pets in NAWT care;
- Support centre teams to ensure all animals are assessed, advertised, matched, and rehomed in a responsible and timely manner;
- Work with the centre management team to fully implement and monitor Home Direct and Short-Term Fostering homing initiatives;
- Provide specific reports as and when required on all animals on behaviour modification programmes;
- Develop and implement new ways of working to improve all aspects of assessment, training and matching within the homing journey for all animals in NAWT care.

About you:
The ideal candidate will be conscientious, reliable, good humoured and confident, with a solid background in developing, coaching and line managing teams. Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing security events working as part of a blended cyber security team with our 24x7 MDR partner, predominantly using the Microsoft Security Stack to leverage industry standard response lifecycles
- Maintaining a working knowledge of response frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&K
- Configuring and refining alerting and leveraging automation and orchestration
- Working closely with GRC colleagues to deploy, refine, and monitor applicable cyber security controls

- Acting as systems administrator for Breathe, configuring the system as required, controlling all user access, managing data flows in and out of the system and ensuring accuracy and data protection compliance and liaising with Breathe to troubleshoot queries as required.

About the role
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers. As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. Key Responsibilities
Partnership liaison and relationship management
· Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
· Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Oversight of Spear Programme
· As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
· Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
· Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education.
Line Management and training
· Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
· Be line managed by Resurgo to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.
Church Community
· The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by HTH Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
· You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme

Site management and set-up
· Work with the Church to set up the training room and IT infrastructure for the new Spear Centre in advance of opening
