We're looking for a dynamic, community focused manager to lead our Hub operations, staff and volunteers. You'll shape service, connect wityh local groups and ensure the highest standards of hospitality and care. As the manager, you will report to the Trustees and have the opportunity to develop the centre to cater for needs in the community.

Community Fundraising Lead

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Community Fundraising Lead to engage individuals, schools, and community groups across the East of England, maximising income generation and supporting the hospitals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Position: Community Fundraising Lead

About the role:

As the Community Fundraising Lead, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering our community fundraising strategy with a particular focus on schools, community groups, and challenge events across six counties (Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire). This role is responsible for leading on event and product innovations while supporting the team to develop best in class supporter journeys. We are looking for someone who has a vision for putting data at the heart of all decision making.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Deliver the community fundraising programme and continually monitor results, with particular focus on net income, Rotary engagement, supporter growth and the development of our volunteer network. Adjust and adapt plans accordingly.
• To set income and expenditure budgets for all community and events activity, monitoring industry and supporter trends, progress against budgets and reforecast income and expenditure as required.
• Set measurable KPIs for the Community and Events Team and objectively review the success and achievements against targets. Identify areas of risk and opportunity. Ensure contingencies are in place as appropriate.
• Strategically grow community income by identifying priority audiences and developing products/campaigns/communications to maximise the value of our existing supporters and to reach new ones. Ensure we remain relevant and future focused. To include the optimisation and mainstreaming of digital engagement.
• Continue to develop and test events, with the aim of growing our events portfolio, working closely with the Community Marketing and Events Officer.
• Embed evidence-based decision-making within the team, using insight and data to inform ways of working, and improving our use and adoptions of systems.
• Support team with stewarding high value community stakeholders, including the strategically important relationship with RGBI. Role model and support great relationship fundraising - leading by example to inspire high standards in the team.
• Lead the development of strategic plans to maximise our partnership with RGBI (including income, awareness and networking opportunities). Manage and support the Rotary Marketing and Engagement Officers to drive activity and performance. Work closely with the Rotary Partnership Manager to ensure plans and communications are aligned.
• Support Community Engagement Officer with the development and growth of our community volunteer network.
• Work with the Rotary Marketing Officer and Community Marketing and Events Officer to oversee the development of mass participation campaigns to engage target audiences (warm and cold) and grow income.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate major disaster plans for community audiences.
• Work across the team to review and develop 'donor journeys' in collaboration with the wider fundraising and Supporter Care team, ensuring an excellent supporter experience.
• Create an environment which supports the team to be confident in the contribution and development of new ideas for fundraising, ensuring we adopt a 'test and learn' approach through which people feel safe and supported to innovate.
• Ensure fundraising activity is carried out in accordance with current good practice and within charity law, managing contracts and agreements and providing advice to others.
• Represent the work of ShelterBox at events to members of the public and supporters, where necessary delivering presentations with occasional out of hours work required.

The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. The main focus of the role is to secure income for large-scale capital investment at Stanley Arts; alongside developing and maintaining relationships with statutory funders and trusts who maysupport programming and core running costs of the

The Development Manager will play a central role in securing income for Stanley Arts through two key areas:

Allen Lane is pleased to be partnering with London Air Ambulance Charity for the role of IT Manager. The Charity has grown significantly in size and complexity over the last few years and are now seeking a IT Manager to lead the technical delivery in support of their IT strategy, oversee the Managed Service Provider (MSP), take responsibility for cyber security and training and, support the implementation of new technology to the service.

About the charity:

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. The team, consisting of an advanced trauma doctor, paramedic and consultant on most missions, can perform treatments such as open heart surgery, blood transfusions and general anaesthetic by the roadside.

By providing intervention as quickly as possible after injury, they aim to give patients the best chance of survival, and best quality of life, after trauma.

The charity serves the 10 million people that live work and travel within the M25, treating an average of five patients every day

About the role

The IT Manager will report to the Director of Finance, IT and Facilities to deliver our IT strategy. They will work closely with the charity’s external consultant CTO.

The role will take ownership and responsibility for delivering an excellent day to day IT service, maintaining and developing the charity’s assets and systems, and sourcing and managing appropriately skilled resources where required.

They will also work closely with project teams on technical development and integration of systems.

About The Role

This role will lead the Trusts & Foundations team at Home-Start UK and drive the development and delivery of a fundraising strategy that builds on a recent period of significant growth. With projected income of £1.5 million in 2025/26, the successful candidate will focus on generating sustainable, high-return income through charitable trusts and foundations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing a robust process for researching and identifying suitable funders.
• Submitting high-quality funding applications.
• Providing excellent stewardship to existing grant funders.
• Building a strong pipeline to secure long-term income from trusts and foundations.

In addition, the role will support the organisation in cultivating key philanthropic relationships - particularly with high-net-worth individuals who may give via their trusts or foundations—leveraging the skills, experience, and resources of the Trusts & Foundations team.

Ultimately, this work will enable Home-Start UK to support more families with young children through challenging times.

We are seeking a proactive and professional Programme Officer to support the next phase of our Researcher Development programme. Working alongside the Programme Manager, the post holder will support the delivery of one of the four priorities in our five year strategy: “to create an environment that supports Wales’ current and future experts".This is an exciting opportunity to truly impact on the future of higher education and research in Wales. Having received additional funding from Medr, the Commission for Tertiary Education and Research, in support of our new strategy, this role would suit someone with the drive to shape and grow one of our major programmes, and who enjoys working flexibly with a dynamic and supportive team.

About the role  

The Programme Officer (PO) will support the delivery of the Society’s Researcher Development Programme, which is already an important feature of Wales’ research landscape.

The PO will report to the Programme Manager (PM), and will work with the rest of our friendly, committed staff team to help ensure the programme continues to benefit researchers at different career stages, inside academia and across different sectors.

The PO will deliver a variety of activities. Their primary responsibility will be running the Early Career Researchers (ECRs) Network. This includes organising events and networking opportunities for ECRs, working with ECRs to ensure this work is relevant to their needs, as well as supporting the PM in developing the overall strategy for the Society’s ECR support and updating the ECR Network membership. The PO will support initiatives tailored for Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs) and assist with the review panels for the LSW Grants. The role also includes creating communications content to highlight the impact of funded projects and supporting the PM with reports for Medr and other stakeholders.

THE JOB:

Key Responsibilities

• Handling day to day administrative tasks for our busy Executive Director including scheduling, diary management, travel, fielding and responding to enquiries, meeting minutes and follow up;

• External Partner Communications such as follow up with media partners, contributors or expert reviewers and more;

• Supporting Internal Communications and Ways of Working;

• Working with Director of Projects & Planning to ensure the smooth running of the office including IT, HR, Governance etc;

• Assisting with fundraising admin such as tracking deliverables, reporting requirements and deadlines.

• You may, from time to time, be asked by colleagues to take on different or additional duties that you can reasonably perform in line with your skills and experience.
