We are looking for a creative, dynamic and adaptable corporate fundraising manager with a minimum of three years’ experience or relevant sales experience to develop and deliver a successful corporate fundraising strategy. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills and significant  experience of delivering pitches and securing new business, coupled with demonstrable success of securing sponsorship and commercial participation opportunities.

You will have a natural flair and genuine passion for corporate fundraising, be a terrific storyteller with  exceptional communication skills to bring this unique world leading cancer centre alive for businesses in an engaging and purposeful way. . Most of all, we are looking for someone whose enthusiasm, innovation and ambition  will match those of the Charity. . The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive gold standard care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.

The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. Putting supporters at the heart of the Charity’s work, the role includes acquisition, retention and stewardship of individual donors and lottery players to achieve a sustainable increase in income for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

You’ll have strong commercial knowledge, with the ability to apply this to the Charity sector; adding value to our existing fundraising activities and impact reporting. 

As part of a busy and ambitious team, this role would suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a talent for storytelling and a knowledge of data-driven marketing. Working with the Digital Fundraising Manager and Marketing & PR Manager, they will be instrumental to the success of Individual Giving during an exciting period of growth for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

You will be managing an established income stream that raises important core and project funding for Willen Hospice. In this integral fundraising role, you will have the opportunity to transform our services by working closely with service teams to get unrestricted and restricted grants from Trusts and Foundations. 

With strong communication & relationship-building skills you will report to the Associate Director of Income Generation, working across clinical and support departments and with external partners to write high-calibre, persuasive applications and reports.

Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. This role sits in the Trust’s Business Development/Nature Based Solutions (NBS) team, an innovative new team focused on county wide recovery and green finance investment within the county of Surrey. This role will also manage the Trusts internal and external processes around Green Finance and drive forward investment in nature at a landscape level.  

As a senior role reporting into the Director of Business Development and Partnerships; practical experience of green finance including biodiversity net gain is essential; experience will also need to include demonstrable examples of project managing medium/large scale projects, contract management, financial analysis and working in a fast paced environment.

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

Research Initiatives Manager

The Research Initiatives Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will work closely with senior clinicians to lead a series of projects and activities to feed into the development and delivery of child-health research initiatives. The initiatives include research awards, research events and research capacity and capability building, by embedding academic skills into the paediatric workforce and enabling academic research.

As Research Initiatives Manager, you will also lead on the RCPCH Genomics Programme which aims to develop and deliver a series of resources and activities related to the integration of genomics services into mainstream paediatrics. 

Based within the Research and Evidence team, you will be the operational lead for relevant Committees and working groups, acting as a representative of the College to represent the views of paediatricians, whilst ensuring timely reporting of progress to Project Boards.

You will also build and develop relationships with external stakeholders and work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science, life sciences or genetics/genomics component, you should have a proven understanding of the national funding landscape and infrastructure for clinical research.

You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work, along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

With excellent organisational skills and an ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, and be capable of working autonomously and taking personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including data analysis, along with a project management qualification and an understanding of genomic medicine would be desirable. An understanding of the education and training pathways of paediatric healthcare professionals as well as experience of events management, would also be desirable. 

The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

This important role will represent FareShare Sussex & Surrey engaging with corporate partners and key stakeholders such as council leaders, politicians and dignitaries across the region.

• Act as main point of contact for existing corporate partners and stakeholders

• Build strong relationships through a stewardship programme to engage with partners in a variety of ways on a regular basis

New Business

Reporting and Monitoring

• Provide regular reporting for trustees and the Development Team

• To monitor and evaluate all aspects of the partnership, reporting on income and engagement.

About the Role

• You will manage and lead a 24-hour 16-18 bed new therapeutic support & accommodation service for women from across South London who have experienced homelessness and severe and multiple disadvantage.  
• You will lead and develop a team that is focused on building trust through relationships, so that every woman who is supported gets the person-led, trauma and gender-informed support they need in a place they can call home.

Role Summary

This position provides key support for the policy and research functions of the charity, in addition to collaborating on campaigns and public affairs work. You will be responsible for carrying out primary research relevant to the charity’s policy and research functions. You’ll be monitoring and collating new policy and research materials and contributing to public communications including report-writing, blog posts and social media activity. You’ll be providing input into strategic planning regarding policy and research activities. You’ll connect with researchers and policy people from other charities and from universities. Finally, you’ll be attending conferences and meetings on behalf of the charity.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Policy

• Support the P&RM, DR&PA and CEO in responding to public consultations, advising policymakers and working with national policy and research bodies as appropriate.

• Represent the charity in meetings with policy partners where appropriate.

• Attend policy and research conferences on behalf of the charity, providing feedback to the team on key learning and opportunities that arise.

• Work with the SC&PA and DR&PA to draw up influencing strategies to target key stakeholders on policy priorities.

• Monitor external research that helps our policy work and opportunities for collaboration.

• Work with the SC&PA  to engage campaigners in our policy work.

Research

• Work with the P&RM to carry out research activities relevant to the policy and research functions of the charity; including collating and analysing data, and co-authoring reports for both internal and public purposes.

• Work with the P&RM and the Communications and Marketing teams to produce engaging and accessible communication of research findings for a range of audiences. 

• Monitor and collate new policy and research materials, including research reports, policy documents and media activity. Work with the P&RM to produce internal reports where appropriate and to ensure the charity’s activities reflect and respond to the wider policy and research environment.

• Work with the P&RM on external research projects funded by the charity, including support with assessing the quality of bids by external researchers. 

Across both areas

• Produce social media communications where relevant to policy and research. Work with colleagues across the Research and Public Affairs and Communications and Marketing teams to develop strategies for maximising impact, especially in digital communications.

• Contribute to strategic planning by contributing to staff meetings, producing supporting materials and providing feedback on public affairs.

The postholder will also be expected to:

• attend training courses and develop skills as required, sharing learning with other staff as relevant

• in unusual circumstances, work weekend and / or evening hours, for which time in lieu will be given

• undertake other reasonable work as requested by the P&RM.

The Role

The WorldGBC is seeking a dedicated Advocacy and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping and advancing our global advocacy efforts, influencing policy, and supporting our network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs) in their advocacy work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing policy positions, conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and policies worldwide. The Advocacy and Engagement Manger will report to and work closely with the Global Advocacy Director.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

● Support for the Global Advocacy Director: Work closely with the Global Advocacy Director to develop and implement WorldGBC's global advocacy strategy. Assist in coordinating the organization’s advocacy efforts across different regions, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Provide analytical support, prepare briefing materials, and manage specific projects as directed by the Global Advocacy Director. Act as a liaison between the Global Advocacy Director and other team members, stakeholders, and national GBCs to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

● Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on global and regional policy trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainable building. Analyze potential impacts on the green building movement and develop strategic responses.

● Policy Development and Advocacy: Work with Global Advocacy Director to develop and articulate clear policy positions on key issues related to sustainable building and construction and lead advocacy campaigns to influence international, regional, and national policy frameworks and regulations.

● Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within WorldGBC, including programs and communications, to ensure a coordinated approach to advocacy and policy engagement.

● Support National GBCs: Provide guidance and support to national GBCs in their local advocacy efforts, helping them to navigate policy landscapes and engage effectively with policymakers.

● Communication and Representation: Represent WorldGBC at policy forums, conferences, and meetings, presenting policy positions and advocating for sustainable building practices. Prepare a range of materials, including reports, briefings, and presentations, to support advocacy objectives.

● Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the sustainability, construction, and policy-making communities, including governments, NGOs, industry associations, and private sector partners.

Skills, experience and education:

● Minimum of 5 years' experience in policy analysis, advocacy, or a related role, preferably within an international context.

● Deep understanding of international climate diplomacy and national policy-making processes

● Experience managing relationships with policymakers and stakeholders and ability to lead discussions towards tangible outcomes.

● Experience in the design of built environment decarbonisation roadmaps for the public and/or private sectors and project development.

● Specific experience or interest in international work, ideally with a proven record for engaging with a geographically and culturally diverse network of stakeholders.

● Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

● Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team environment.

● Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.

● Willingness to travel as required.

We are looking to recruit a HOPELINE247 Manager to enable the delivery of an outstanding suicide prevention helpline, through the effective management of HOPELINE247 advisers, alongside the promotion and development of the service.

What you will do:

Provide leadership, guidance, and effective line management to a team of suicide prevention advisers.

Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered through effective quality assurance processes.

Manage staffing and resources effectively to ensure the efficient running of the helpline service.

Risk assess and provide advice and guidance to the team, in relation to safeguarding matters, in line with policy and procedures.

Provide ad hoc rota cover to support a range of clients via multi-channel communications, adhering to HOPELINE247 remit at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A proven track record of building and managing an effective team, supporting their development and managing their performance.

Previous experience of building, developing and managing effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the community, voluntary, statutory and political settings.

Previous successful experience of working in suicide prevention or mental health.

Awareness of the issues around safeguarding and how these can affect young people and adults at risk.

Degree level or a professional qualification in Health, Nursing, Social Work, Community Work or a related discipline.

Salary: £34,224 per annum (Scale point 29), progressing by increments to £36,869.25 per annum (Scale point 32). As a night shift worker, you will receive an additional allowance of £10 per night shift. This will be paid on a monthly basis along with the salary.

Hours: 33 hours per week

Working arrangements: This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 07:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week. 33 hours will be based upon working 4 nights shifts per week.
