our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take on the role of Regional Operations Manager for our centres in South London (Walworth, Kennington and Brixton) along with our centres in Southampton and Brighton.

As a Regional Operations Manager you will line manage the Centre Leaders in your region to ensure that centres are working effectively, that the high quality of programme delivery to young people is maintained across the cluster, and that targets are monitored and met. 

And of course, you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their ambitions.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing professional and customer-focussed HR leadership, advice and support to academies to enable leaders to improve and support staff engagement, tackle workforce priorities, maximise workforce efficiency and achieve academy people objectives
• Influencing and supporting the strategic direction of academies by providing and analysing workforce information and developing HR initiatives to respond to needs or example, developing effective retention plans, improving sickness absence and reducing agency expenditure
• Coaching, supporting and mentoring senior leaders on people management practices, issues and priorities, through development of close working relationships and understanding of business challenges and opportunities
• Providing expert advice to managers in highly complex employee relations cases on the interpretation and implementation of the Federation employment procedures within the context of the legal framework
• Retaining oversight of casework, and line managing an HR advisor in the management of specific ER cases

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR advisor role within a large complex organisation
• Experience of developing and delivery of strategic HR plans and initiatives
• Previous experience of managing complex Employee relations issues, change management, and restructuring
• Experience of supervising staff
• Educated to masters level in HR Management or equivalent level of experience of working in an HR role
• A CIPD qualification to Associate level or above

The Policy and Advocacy Manager will play a key role in the Doctors of World UK policy and advocacy team and organisation, driving and shaping UK health policy and delivering programmes to advance the right to health in the UK.

The role works to maximise DOTW’s influence and impact on health policy debates whilst influencing practice in health services to ensure accessible and equitable healthcare for everyone living in the UK.

The role will take a lead on Doctors of the World’s work to build capacity within the UK health system to provide accessible and equitable primary care services for migrants and refugees and be responsible for managing, analysing and reporting on data from our medical programmes in order to support advocacy and research work.

The Education Coordinator is key to delivery of the core operations and communications that support Surfers Against Sewage’s education programmes.

As Senior Manager, Advocacy and Creative Programme, you will have overall responsibility for the Advocacy and Creative Programme. Leading a diverse team of professionals, you will engage with policymakers, build partnerships with national and international entities, connect with storytellers and artists from around the world and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing events and engagements that will take you and your work to the global stage.

We seek an individual with strong knowledge of international development and diplomacy, extensive experience in programme leadership and event management, and a demonstrated capacity to lead a high-performing team. Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with a highly practical, solutions-based mindset. The role

As Senior IT Manager, you will lead on all things IT across CSE and our subsidiary, Retrofit West CIC. From supporting staff day-to-day to managing our infrastructure and external support partner, you will ensure our systems are secure, fit for purpose, and evolving with our needs.

You will sit within the Finance & Operations team and be part of CSE’s Senior Management Team (SMT), working closely with our Director of Finance & Operations. · Being the main contact for our external IT support provider.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – Case for Support & Impact Manager

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Case for Support & Impact Manager to develop completing, donor-centric materials that articular the impact, urgency and strategic importance of the charity’s work.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for translating complex programmes and ambitions into clear, inspiring and emotionally resonant content for high-value supporters including major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners. The post-holder will also collaborate across different organisational departments to ensure that the charity’s vision, impact and funding needs are effectively communicated and tailored for different audiences to help secure transformational income.

Essential experience for this role includes a proven track record in developing high-quality fundraising cases for support, proposals or donor communications in a charity or social impact setting. You will have outstanding writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt engaging and persuasive content as required. As well as excellent project management and organisational skills, you will have a strong understanding of high-value fundraising, particularly philanthropy and trusts and foundations funding.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the voice and story of one of the UK’s most impactful and inspiring charities, with access to the most inspiring case studies out of the amazing partnerships the charity creates between deaf individuals and their expertly trained hearing dogs. About the role:

This role's primary purpose is to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of Respect's training programmes. This involves an experienced Trainer facilitating courses, webinars, and workshops, as well as overseeing the creation of new training content and securing its CPD certification or OCN accreditation.
