About this role

The Philanthropy Manager will own an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at five to six figure level and act as the day-to-day relationship manager within that portfolio.

The role plans and delivers cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity to agreed KPIs, makes timely operational decisions within scope, and escalates risks/opportunities early.

The post holder contributes evidence and insight into team planning, supports senior colleagues on major/strategic accounts, and collaborates across teams to ensure high quality, inclusive delivery.

​Key responsibilities

• Own and manage an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors at the five to six figure level, delivering agreed income and engagement targets.
• Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships within the portfolio, escalating strategic issues or risks promptly.
• Act as the day-to-day relationship manager for donors in your portfolio, adapting style to audience and context and ensuring clear, timely communications; seek support for major strategic relationships.
• Maintain structured cultivation plans with milestones, update stakeholders proactively, and adjust plans based on learning.
• Develop clear, evidence-led proposals and reports using agreed templates, definitions and KPIs; quality check data before submission.
• Support senior colleagues on major prospects with briefings, meeting notes, and follow ups.
• Supporting Senior Philanthropy Managers, Development Directors and the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships on key accounts (typically £500k–£1m+), preparing high quality materials and inputs and maintaining accurate records of progress through the fundraising cycle in Salesforce.
• Contribute insights to identify and prioritise new grant opportunities and themes; share relevant sector updates with the team.
• Co-develop stewardship plans tailored to donor priorities in collaboration with Engagement, Pro Bono and Events teams.
• Maintain accurate, complete records in Salesforce; apply definitions consistently and quality check data before reporting.
• Maintain Salesforce and contribute inputs for SMT/committee reporting via the Senior Philanthropy Manager; propose lightweight improvements to existing processes.
• Keep professional knowledge current; share useful updates/resources and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
• Support delivery of major fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, and ad-hoc Philanthropy Team activities.
• Demonstrate professionalism and best practice in all duties, complying with organisational policies and procedures, and proactively supporting the wider team.
• Model inclusive, professional behaviours; design inclusive meetings/interactions, act as an ally and challenge bias constructively while supporting the wider team.
• Share know‑how and peer‑coach officers/assistants, offering constructive feedback and supporting onboarding for new colleagues.

​Essential​

• Demonstrable experience generating gifts at five to six figures from UK trusts, corporate partnerships and/or foundations.
• Ability to work through the fundraising cycle with donors to initiate, renew and grow gifts.
• Experience developing partnerships and managing an allocated portfolio of donor relationships.
• Excellent research and prospecting skills.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and substantive experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
• Strong planning and organisation skills – build structured plans with milestones/dependencies and track portfolio income/expenditure, highlighting variances early.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong bid-writing and storytelling ability.
• Ability to grasp and convey complex ideas, including Impetus’ model and the private equity industry.
• Able to engage confidently and professionally with senior stakeholders, adapting style and seeking support where appropriate.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and maintain excellent attention to detail.

Centrepoint supports vulnerable young people by providing safe accommodation, health support, life skills and pathways into education, training and employment. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.

About the role

This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for managing and growing Centrepoints largest corporate partner- Nationwide. that delivers long-term, sustainable income and meaningful social impact.

You will lead the direct relationship with Nationwide and managing the internal governance structure supporting the partnership.

You will work closely with colleagues across the whole organisation to deliver on all aspects of the partnership to deliver mutual value for both Centrepoint and our corporate partner.

As the Senior digital insight analyst, you’ll lead on our digital analytics to ensure we have high quality, reliable insight that drives better user experience across all our digital products and improves our digital performance.

Prior to joining ClientEarth Hannah has held a number of leading roles at prominent international environmental organisations, including Head of External Affairs at the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre and Head of Trusts and Foundations at Fauna & Flora.

Main Duties

• Develop and implement the global philanthropy strategy as part of the overall fundraising strategy, liaising with senior leadership, programme leads, communications and finance to ensure ClientEarth can maximise the potential income from major donors.
• Develop, implement and achieve relevant KPIs and financial targets for the philanthropy team and lead on the production of appropriate reports for senior management and the board of trustees.
• Using the strategy (organisational and fundraising) the Head of Philanthropy will personally manage and support senior staff on holding income-yielding high-level relationships.
• Manage relationships and drive strategy relating to our senior stakeholders such as the Development Board, Chair of the Board and act as a key facilitator and steward of relationships between foundation staff and key programme contacts.

About the role

We’re looking for a senior manager, brand marketing to join our team at an exciting time of growth for Breast Cancer Now.  As part of our new 2025-2030 organizational strategy, we have ambitious plans to increase awareness, understanding, trust and engagement, to support the impact we can have for people affected by breast cancer.  To achieve this, we’ve secured significant investment in our brand marketing program and this role will play a key role in making those ambitions a reality. 

The senior manager marketing, brand marketing will lead the brand marketing team and oversee the planning, development, and delivery of our brand marketing program.  This includes managing high-profile multi-channel advertising bursts and fame-driving activations, working closely with stakeholders across the charity, and with our creative and media agency partners.  This role will develop compelling briefs, oversee campaign delivery, and ensure performance is measured and optimized.

The post-holder will also take responsibility for monitoring our brand health - working with research and media agencies to set KPIs, analyse results, and identify opportunities for improvement.

About you

This is an important role for Breast Cancer Now and one which requires a passion for and proven expertise in managing a brand marketing programme, including delivering multi-channel campaigns.

The role provides a fantastic opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity, and with external agencies to support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns.  As such, you'll possess strong communication skills and be adept at building positive working relationships with people at all levels. You’ll also be committed to delivering exceptional creative work and have knowledge of brand measurement techniques, working with research agencies and using performance data to monitor and maximise impact. 

You'll be confident line manager with solid project management skills, able to work at pace and manage multiple, competing priorities.  You'll also have experience in setting and monitoring budgets.

Scope of the role

· EA support to Chief Executive and Leadership Team, Chair, Board of Trustees and Committees (55%)

· Administrative and project support to the Director of Finance & Operations and HR Consultant covering Finance, IT, HR, Volunteer Management and Operations (35%)

· Administrative support to wider charity teams (10%)

Key areas of responsibility:

Executive Assistant Support to CEO and Leadership Team

· Provide comprehensive PA support to the Chief Executive, including proactive diary management, anticipating needs, and coordinating complex schedules

· Prepare for team meetings and other key meetings, including agenda compilation, document preparation, and follow-up actions

· Support the preparation of high-quality presentations and key documents for internal and external stakeholders

· Organise and coordinate team events, including summer and Christmas parties, team lunches, and ad hoc meals and events

· Provide responsive tech support and troubleshooting to the CEO and Leadership Team, helping them make effective use of available tools

Support to the Director of Finance & Operations and HR Consultant

· Finance and IT – Provide administrative and project support across finance processes; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the Director of Finance & Operations

· HR – Collaborate with the HR Consultant across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment administration, new staff induction and onboarding, leaver processes, and learning & development initiatives

· Volunteer management – Support the recruitment and ongoing engagement of volunteers, ensuring positive volunteer experiences

· Operations & innovation – Lead the continuous review, improvement and maintenance of internal processes, policies and procedures. Identify and explore opportunities to implement AI tools and automation to enhance operational efficiency

· Reporting – Assist the Director of Finance in preparing comprehensive quarterly performance reports

Board of Trustees support

Support to wider Charity Team

We are seeking an experienced communications lead to join our external engagement team and play a key role in shaping Martingale’s external profile and scholar recruitment.

As Communications Manager, you will lead on several critical aspects of Martingale’s work including all external communications from social media to PR, and brand management. Crucially, you will lead on the annual recruitment campaign for Martingale’s Postgraduate Scholarships. This three-month campaign each autumn is a fundamental part of Martingales work, ensuring we are finding and supporting as many talented people to apply as possible. Working closely with the Head of Communications and External Engagement, you will lead on all Martingale’s external communications.

A key responsibility will be ensuring that Martingale’s messaging is consistent, with a bold brand presence and strong collaboration with various external stakeholders including funders, universities, media, and government. You will also line manage the Events and Communications Officer who leads on all Martingale events and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the Head of Communications and External Engagement, you will lead on the design and implementation of end-to-end marketing for the recruitment campaign for Martingale Scholars:

• Ensure widespread marketing of the Martingale Scholarship opportunity across the UK, including in media (e.g., student newspapers), on university campuses and on graduate job boards.
• Coordinate an effective paid advertising campaign across multiple channels.
• Directly engage prospective scholars to increase interest and convince them to apply for Martingale opportunities. For example, leading email campaigns, visiting university campuses, or hosting webinars.
• Build relationships with university academics, careers departments, student societies, graduate careers platforms, and other organisations who work with Martingale’s target audience. Encourage them to share Martingale opportunities to relevant people.
• Develop marketing materials and coordinate circulation: leaflets, brochures, social media content, video, email and newsletters, case studies and interviews with relevant people incl. current scholars.
• Procure and coordinate any relevant external providers: e.g., paid digital advertising agencies.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System, embed and manage a CRM system for enrolled scholars.

Manage brand and increase brand awareness:

• Manage and develop Martingale Foundation’s brand identity, and the identity of our programmes: visual identity, communication style, digital presence, in-person style and feel of events.

• Manage the website, including maintenance, development, and SEO – with agency support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cure Parkinson’s philanthropy team until June 2027. Over the next 18 months we plan to build on the success of these events, delivering the second Grand Cru.saders Banquet in September 2026 and a gala in Spring 2027. As Major Gifts and Philanthropy Events Officer you would be a vital part of the team making this happen.

Serving as the local subject matter expert in direct marketing and fundraising data, you will translate complex data into easy-to-understand takeaways for the UK Fundraising Director and senior leadership ensuring that Smile Train is able to efficiently and effectively raise funds to continue transforming the lives of our beneficiaries.

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity starting as soon as possible. Ability to travel, when necessary, for agency partner visits and organizational events is required.

General Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the UK Director of Fundraising in the development of the offline Individual Giving Strategy and other key initiatives and keep them updated and fully briefed regarding their implementation

  • Manage source code assignment and upload to database

• Management of external creative, media and contact centre agencies

Sustainer Program

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Senior Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team, helping to deliver leadership programmes and quality improvement projects that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. It’s a varied and rewarding role where no two days are quite the same.

Examples of projects supported include work around establishing better Active Surveillance so that more men can avoid unnecessary radical treatment; work to restructure and make faster the diagnostic pathway; work to coordinate with primary care and support earlier diagnosis; new surgical procedures that spare men the burden of incontinence. You’ll help design, deliver and facilitate improvement programmes, preparing materials, supporting participants and making sure recruitment runs smoothly and on time. You’ll lead on organising Clinical Advisory Group meetings, support our digital channels, including webpages and online learning resources, and take on ad hoc projects or events as necessary.

You’ll coordinate quality improvement projects, help schedule programmes, and work with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK to increase the reach and impact of our work. Building strong relationships with programme alumni is an important part of the role, including developing newsletter content, sharing best practice and creating opportunities for continued involvement. You’ll also coach and mentor clinicians using Insights Discovery (a psychometric tool helping people understand their own and others' behavioural preferences and communication styles), helping to spread learning and improve care across services.

What we want from you

We’re looking for an effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to adapt communication style for different audiences. Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. You’ll have experience managing webpages and creating engaging online content, as well as delivering presentations and facilitating productive conversations.

Role: Fundraising Manager

Location:Home-based within the UK, with regular attendance (approx monthly) of meetings, mostly held in London, and to support fundraising events.

Salary:£35,000 (FTE equivalent)

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and results-driven Fundraising Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fundraising, relationship-building and supporting the growth of a small charity. As our Fundraising Manager, you will implement our fundraising strategy across multiple channels. You will work closely with senior leadership, colleagues and volunteers, to build and sustain our donor base while helping to diversify our funding sources.

Key responsibilities:

1. Fundraising planning and execution:

· Develop and implement fundraising plans to achieve annual income targets from diverse funding sources.

· Manage a range of fundraising activities, with a specific focus on individual giving, legacies, corporates and other philanthropic activities.

· Create compelling cases for support, donor communications, and fundraising materials.

· Explore new fundraising opportunities, particularly in the digital environment, and make recommendations for implementation.

2. Donor relationship management:

· Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors and fundraisers.

· Implement stewardship plans for donors at all levels to enhance donor retention and loyalty.

· Manage donor database and track donations, ensuring accurate records of giving and engagement.

3. Event management:

· Plan, promote, and execute fundraising events, including supporting third party events, virtual campaigns and donor engagement activities.

· Offer high quality stewardship to supporters.

· Coordinate logistics, suppliers and volunteers for events.

· Manage event budgets and track event-related income and expenses.

4. Collaboration and team support:

· Work closely with the communications and marketing teams to create fundraising campaigns and materials.

· Collaborate with senior leadership to develop fundraising priorities and strategies.

· Provide support and guidance to volunteers involved in fundraising activities.

5. Reporting and analysis:

· Monitor, evaluate, and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

· Analyse trends in donor giving and provide insights for future fundraising efforts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential attributes:

· Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field (ideally in a small charity setting).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling fundraising materials and reports.

· Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Ability to work independently, remotely, and as part of a small team.

· A passion for the mission and values of Overcoming MS and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

· Willingness to work closely and effectively with donors to design/curate compelling fundraising initiatives.

· A ‘digital-first’ mindset: confident with integrating digital platforms and channels across all fundraising activities

Desirable attributes:

· Creative thinker with the ability to develop new and innovative fundraising strategies.

· Enthusiastic, with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to inspire others.

· A strategic approach to relationship-building and donor stewardship.

· Ability to build effective relationships with third party suppliers, platform providers etc.

· Experience with customer relationship management systems (we currently use Dynamics 365).

· Excellent eye for detail, works to deliver high-quality work.

· A proactive approach to their work and able to identify opportunities and solutions.

As Senior Trust and Foundations Officer you will support the delivery of our vision by growing our portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, crafting exceptionally high quality and persuasive applications for three, four and five figure bids and managing all successful and existing grants.  

We are a small but highly effective team at OCD Action, if you join us you will work closely with our service delivery team and have the opportunity to see the impact of your work. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for people affected by OCD and can channel this into ambitious, creative and persuasive grant applications. This role requires someone who enjoys working with people and is adept at building networks and maintaining effective relationships. This role may be particularly suited to someone who has supported with the development of Trust applications in a larger organisation and is looking to develop their skills or to work with increased flexibility.

Senior High Value Fundraising Manager

Salary: up to £51,176 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior High Value Fundraising Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising team at Help for Heroes. This senior role will shape and lead one of our most strategically important income streams—ensuring we continue delivering life-changing support for veterans and their families.

This senior role is perfect for a confident relationship fundraiser with experience securing major gifts, running high-value campaigns, and delivering impactful special events.

You’ll lead the development and delivery of our high-value giving strategy delivering in excess of £1.2m over the next 12 months, including the £17m No One Left Behind campaign, major donor income, and a new 3-year Special Events strategy. With responsibility for a talented team, you’ll build a strong major donor pipeline, secure 5- and 6-figure gifts, and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.

You’ll collaborate across the organisation to shape compelling proposals, develop high-value communications, support our 20th anniversary plans, and ensure strong financial management and reporting.

As a senior leader, you will inspire, coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence and innovation.

About You

We’re looking for a strategic and inspirational leader with:

• Proven experience securing large (6-figure+) gifts from HNWIs
• Successful delivery of multi-million-pound campaigns or major donor programmes
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong event leadership experience in income-generating and stewardship events
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence managing £1m+ targets, budgets and KPIs
