The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare profession/health related professional to join our existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established UK GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, GenesisCare staff team and Wellbeing consultant team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organization. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, proactive, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and have knowledge, experience/understanding of complementary therapies or other support services.
Key role considerations
- This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
- The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions – completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.
- The Wellbeing Consultant is responsible for ensuring that patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through the Penny Brohn UK treatment support services at GenesisCare.

If you have experience of Housing First and mobilising contracts this would be an advantage but is not essential.

Shelter North East has been supporting people in the region for over 25 years and provides advice over 12 local authorities. We are made up of an advice team, legal team as well as support services which include Housing First and DIY skills service, as well as an administration team. The Community Energy Adviser will deliver energy support sessions in local communities, empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support. In this role you will be:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, successful and growing fundraising team, part of the wider High Value Partnerships team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the other members of the team to steward their donor relationships and bring in significant gifts to help fund the work of the RSPB. The role primarily focusses on delivering administrative, financial and events processes and requires someone with excellent attention to detail and experience of Microsoft Office applications, a CRM system and financial management tools.
About the Role
The Philanthropy Team works with individuals who make significant gifts of money, land and shares to the RSPB and who need bespoke and one-to-one management.
The key responsibilities of this role are: -
- Donation and gift management - ensuring all gifts are processed and recorded so they can be acknowledged in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Financial coding and reporting - including coding and allocation of gifts, and monthly & annual reconciliation and income reporting.
- Event planning and logisitics - working closely with other team members to deliver high quality events and meetings for donors and prospects.
- CRM management and development - managing and updating the current CRM system (Salesforce) for the team (including training) and ensuring it is functioning as required by working closely with the CRM Manager.
- Donor stewardship support - maintaining contact information and databases in an accurate and GDPR compliant way and assisting with the team’s donor stewardship programme and funding appeals (spreadsheets, mailings etc).
- Internal liaison - fostering good relations and cooperation with High Value Partnerships colleagues and other teams.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role.
- Good understanding of data protection and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Detailed knowledge of and proficiency in the Microsoft suite and using a CRM system.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing to ensure effective reporting and customer service.

The successful candidate will be:
· A skilled and confident executor, who is experienced in consumer marketing and promoting a wide range of projects including public events to the right audiences.
- Creative in crafting compelling marketing content to deliver effective, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience of working with a range of partners to help raise awareness and engagement, as well as suppliers such as designers and photographers.
- Relevant marketing experience in a military, charity, cultural or public organisation would be particularly advantageous.

What you’ll be doing:

Setting up user accounts, permissions and access rights, with a focus on security and good cyber hygiene.
Helping with onboarding new staff, setting up laptops and workstations, and delivering basic Office 365 training.

Supporting with basic facilities tasks, including office moves and covering the Fulham site reception on occasion.
What we’re looking for:
A qualification in IT (e.g. diploma or degree) and strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint.
Experience supporting hardware (laptops, phones, tablets) and networking infrastructure.
A good grasp of cyber security best practices.
Someone proactive, organised and approachable – a natural helper who’s happy juggling different tasks.
An understanding of, or interest in, the challenges faced by ex-Service men and women.
This is an office-based role working 9am–2pm, Monday to Friday. You'll be based in Fulham, with occasional travel to other sites across London.

About the role
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT children and young people who have experienced abuse or violence. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will work directly with LGBT children and young people who have faced abuse or violence, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice processes, safety planning and support to access to other services which enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.

In this role you will be:

About the Role
Our Young Person’s Sanctuarys' Youth Mental Health Worker role will involve assessing needs and offering one to one support to service users to enable them to begin the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing and to providing clarity on services and pathways available in the area. The role will be part of a larger Young Persons Sanctuary team made up of YPS Youth Mental Health Workers, YPS Manager and volunteers.
Service Delivery
- Deliver crisis focussed 1:1s and ensure outcomes which supports young people experiencing a mental health crisis in Milton Keynes, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed crisis service and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Assessing need and suitability for the service in line with the access to services process and undertaking 1:1s.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.
- Attendance to mandatory reflective practice is required for this role. It occurs once every six weeks for one and a half hours.
