About the Charity
Our client supports vulnerable individuals and families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, including young people who take on significant responsibilities well beyond their years. It's a small, close-knit fundraising and communications team looking to grow with the right person alongside them.
About the Role
This is a genuinely broad, hands-on role — the conduit between fundraising and communications activity. You'll be the first person to own a brand-new fundraising CRM system, and the first to build proper supporter journeys from a base of 600–800 contacts already in place. Two regular newsletters already go out to supporters and the people the charity works with — what's missing is someone to turn that reach into lasting relationships.
This October, the charity launches its first-ever integrated fundraising and communications campaign — a Christmas appeal for the young people it supports. Depending on timing, you might join in time to help run it, or join just after and inherit real campaign data to build the next one from. Either way, it's a genuine ground-floor opportunity: no legacy systems, no inherited decisions — what you build is what exists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a new CRM system, becoming the team's go-to on supporter data
- Design and build supporter journeys for regular givers and donors from scratch
- Support delivery of a major Christmas fundraising campaign and future appeals
- Work closely with the Communications Manager, plugging fundraising into existing newsletters
- Build authentic case studies and stories with the charity's young people's voice & participation team
- Help identify new income opportunities alongside the Fundraising Manager once the fundamentals are in place
About You
- Experience of fundraising, supporter care, customer engagement or communications, with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable owning a CRM yourself — able to run reports and understand segmentation, not just direct someone else in it (specific CRM experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
- A track record delivering campaigns, appeals or multi-channel engagement activity
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage several priorities and interpret data to recommend improvements
- High standards of accuracy and confidentiality, with a sound understanding of data protection and ethical fundraising
Desirable: individual giving, regular giving or community fundraising background; experience with Gift Aid and fundraising platforms; charity or social care sector experience.

Help Create Life-Changing Experiences for Children
At Honeypot, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel safe, valued and supported. As our Children's Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in making that happen.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team, coordinating the delivery of residential breaks, wellbeing programmes for young carers and vulnerable children across Scotland.

From managing referrals and bookings to coordinating transport, communicating with families and supporting service delivery, you'll help create positive experiences that have a lasting impact on the children and families we support.
No two days will be the same. One day you might be helping a family through the referral process, the next coordinating logistics for an upcoming residential break, preparing essential documentation, analysing service data, or supporting colleagues to ensure every child receives the best possible experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating the planning and delivery of respite breaks, wellbeing programmes and outreach services
- Managing referrals, bookings and placements to ensure children receive the right support at the right time
- Building positive relationships with families, referral partners and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance processes
- Coordinating communications, transport arrangements and programme logistics
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service and Honeypot Scotland sit
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and confident working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. You'll be a natural coordinator who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and keeping multiple projects moving forward.
You will have:
- Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within children's services, health, education, charity or community settings
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally database systems
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection principles
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport
Why Join Honeypot?
This is more than an administration role. It's an opportunity to make a genuine difference behind the scenes, helping ensure that children experiencing challenges in their young lives can access safe, supportive and memorable experiences that build confidence, resilience and hope for the future.
If you are passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy bringing organisation, care and efficiency to a busy service, we'd love to hear from you.
Join us and help make every child's opportunity count.
