Reporting to the Director of Communications and Engagement, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary marketing delivery team spanning creative, content, digital and project coordination. You’ll bring together people, ideas, channels and priorities to make sure great strategies become brilliantly executed campaigns.
You’ll oversee the campaign journey from brief to launch and evaluation, shaping creative ideas, coordinating digital and offline activity, improving workflows, managing resources and using insight and performance data to continually improve what we do.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Volunteering, Strategic Communications, Communities and Engagement, Digital and the wider global Mercy Ships network. This is a highly collaborative role where your ability to influence, prioritise and bring clarity to complex activity will be just as important as your marketing expertise.
We’re looking for someone who combines creative judgement with operational discipline.
You’ll know what makes a great campaign, but you’ll also understand everything that needs to happen behind the scenes to deliver it successfully. You’ll be comfortable moving between creative conversations, campaign planning, digital performance, budgets, stakeholder discussions and team leadership.
You may already be a Head of Marketing, or you could be an experienced senior marketing or campaigns professional ready to take the next step. What matters most is your track record of leading integrated campaigns, managing multidisciplinary teams and turning organisational priorities into marketing activity that delivers results.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply wants to maintain what already exists. We’re strengthening how marketing works across Mercy Ships UK, building greater integration between digital, creative, content and campaign delivery and creating a more resilient in-house capability for the future.

About the Role
The Street Engagement Team works across the West End/Westminster with people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs (substance dependency, mental/physical health, criminal justice involvement, unclear immigration status etc.). Horsham Y Centre provides 24-hour supported housing services offering medium levels of housing-related support for young people aged 16-25 with 50 bedspaces and shared communal facilities. We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our team at Horsham Y Centre. You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. In addition, you will carry out one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or who require medical assistance, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.
What you will be doing - this is more than a night shift role - it’s an opportunity to make a real difference, working as part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people grow and develop.

The Role
You'll lead corporate fundraising, delivering an annual income target of around £900,000 through a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships. Rather than relying on a handful of major donors, income is generated through a broad range of corporate supporters, making both relationship management and business development key to success.
You'll also lead a small team, use CRM data to inform fundraising activity and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the In Memoriam Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering and developing our in memoriam and celebration portfolio, ensuring supporters receive outstanding care and stewardship throughout their journey with us. Now, they will recruit a maternity cover Individual Giving Manager and Prospectus is delighted to lead the search. This role is offered on a maternity cover contract basis with hybrid working from the theatre and home to begin no later than November 2026.
The Individual Giving Manager will secure and grow income from private donors and will be responsible for the planning and financial management of fundraising campaigns and the day-to-day delivery of fundraising relationships. You will lead the recruitment, cultivation and stewardship of individuals donors giving up to £5,000, which includes those donors within the membership programme at this level. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will help realise the potential of increased philanthropy for the organisation.
The selected candidate will have demonstrable fundraising experience relating to individual giving and will have experience of working to fundraising targets. You will have experience of building effective relationships and will know how to use data to inform philanthropy strategies and to optimise campaigns.
