We are recruiting for two Senior Policy Officers. One is a permanent role, and one is a 12-month, fixed-term contract. The Senior Policy Officers will be line managed by a Policy Manager or Senior Policy Manager.

As a key member of the Academy’s Policy Team, the Senior Policy Officer will play an important role at a critical moment for the organisation. This role will help the Policy team to plan and deliver a new set of priorities for 2026/27.

Relevant priorities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Improving health outcomes in the UK and internationally.
• Mobilising the UK health research system to turn discovery into practice.

Requirements

Essential:

• Good understanding of the UK health research and medical sciences policy landscape, and/or other related areas.
• Experience in scoping, planning and delivering multiple policy projects in parallel, to achieve organisational objectives.
• Ability to develop knowledge of complex policy topics at pace and identify opportunities for impact within these topics.
• Strong analytical skills and experience of collating evidence from multiple sources. 
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external contacts, including senior, high-profile individuals.

Working in health or research-related environments would be beneficial, but not essential.  The role will involve the use of the charity’s CRM database and Teamwork.  Experience in the use of these is beneficial; however full training will be given. Experience in organizing and delivering meetings and/or conferences would be beneficial.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Advice Centre at NTSU as we deliver our ambitious new strategy focused on student advocacy, belonging and care.

You’ll lead our Advice Centre, ensuring students receive high quality advice, representation and advocacy when they need it most. But this role is about much more than managing casework.

We're looking for someone who can think beyond traditional advice services, using insight, evidence and student experiences to influence change across the University and improve outcomes for students. Working closely with colleagues across Membership Services, you'll build strong partnerships with our Student Voice team to drive advocacy work and support elected officers and student representatives. This exciting role links our 350+ community organisations that receive food from us — known as our Community Food Members (CFMs) — with our thriving and fast-paced food operation. As the Food & Membership Operations Coordinator, you will work across the charity with the Food, Membership and Warehouse Teams, as well as our large and diverse volunteer community, to ensure CFM organisations receive a smooth, reliable and high-quality service each week.

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the connection between food supply, warehouse capacity and member demand. Acting as a key cross-functional coordinator, you will help ensure that surplus food flows efficiently into the organisation and out to the communities who need it. You will support both food-sourcing and membership functions, helping resolve issues quickly, improving communication, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring operational plans are aligned across teams.

Reporting to the Food Manager, with a dotted line to the Membership Manager, this role is central to improving collaboration across the organisation and ensuring FareShare South West delivers a safe, efficient and impactful service to frontline community organisations across the region.

1) Cross-Functional Coordination

• Support daily and weekly communication between Food, Membership and Operations regarding supply and membership demand 
• Maintain awareness of the food pipeline, providing timely updates on incoming supply, changes, restraints, gluts or shortages.
• Assist the Food Manager and Membership Managers with aligning food allocation planning to member needs, operational realities and transport schedules.
• Help coordinate solutions to operational challenges (e.g., quality issues, storage constraints, cancellations, short-dated stock).

2) Food Sourcing Support

• Support the Food Manager with local food sourcing activity, particularly in administration, supplier updates and basic relationship maintenance.
• Be a point of contact for day-to-day supplier communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate information flow
• Help maintain accurate sourcing records and documentation, including volumes, quality notes and engagement history.
• Support awareness-raising activities about FSSW’s surplus redistribution capability (e.g., events, promotional updates).
• Assist with capturing local supply opportunities and best practice shared through the FareShare Network and escalating them to the Food Manager.
• Help coordinate truck logistics schedules in partnership with Operations ensuring incoming food is aligned with capacity.

3) Member Support & Service Delivery

• Support member onboarding, offboarding, account updates, queries, complaints and general membership administration.
• Lead on resolving daily member-facing issues, including food quality concerns and product recalls, escalating where appropriate.
• Support food allocation writing, ensuring allocations reflect supply, need and warehouse capacity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date member information, including delivery instructions, profiles and seasonal variations.
• Support membership-related campaigns, events and targeted projects (e.g., HAF, bolt-on models, piloted services).
• Communicate supply changes, special offers and gluts/shortages clearly to members in coordination with relevant teams.

4) Data, CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate member records in Salesforce and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Support reporting for funders, SLT and internal operational updates, including supply, allocations, member engagement and service metrics.
• Track and summarise recurring issues (e.g., cancellations, quality problems, demand spikes) to support decision-making.
• Contribute to KPI monitoring across both Membership and Food functions.

5) Compliance, Food Safety & Member Standards

• Operate in accordance with the FareShare Food Safety Manual and maintain required training.
• Support documentation for community food member (CFM) compliance, including kitchen checks, food safety standards and follow-up actions.
• Conduct in-person compliance visits with member organisations as required.
• Provide administrative support for product recalls, safety notices and compliance related communication.

Essential Criteria

• Experience or knowledge working in an operational, coordination or customer/member support role

The Woodland Trust is looking for a The Head of Estate and Programmes - Scotland. They will lead the Trust’s estate and programmes team in Scotland, ensuring that the estate and associated programmes are managed to the highest professional standards and in accordance with the Woodland Trust’s management approach, policies and standards. They will lead the development of the Treescape programme and other priority programmes as required and develop and manage strategic partnerships in support of the Trust’s work in Scotland.

The Candidate:

• Extensive experience in forestry, woodland and land management, with a strong understanding of native woodland management, Scotland’s land-use landscape and rainforest ecosystems.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver high performance.
• Strong project, programme and budget management expertise, including oversight of complex initiatives, resource allocation, monitoring and reporting.

Save the Children has an exciting opportunity for an advocacy and partnership focused individual with extensive relationship management experience to join us as our Senior Advocacy & Partnership Manager where you will work with various internal and external stakeholders including the Irish Government, civil society partners and the wider Save the Children movement.

About the role
Save the Children is seeking a Senior Advocacy and Partnership Manager to lead and coordinate our engagement with key stakeholders across Ireland, supporting our global ambition to ensure children affected by conflict, humanitarian crises and poverty can survive, learn and thrive.

This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in managing and strengthening Save the Children's relationships with the Irish Government, civil society partners, academic institutions and colleagues across the wider Save the Children movement. Acting as a key focal point for our work in Ireland, you will help shape strategic partnerships, manage key contracts, coordinate cross-organisational initiatives and support policy and advocacy efforts that advance children's rights globally.

Working closely with colleagues in Northern Ireland, the UK, Europe and international country offices, you will provide strategic advice, facilitate collaboration and identify opportunities to enhance Save the Children's influence, partnerships and impact.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead and strengthen Save the Children's strategic relationships with the Irish Government, institutional stakeholders, civil society partners and academic organisations, acting as a key focal point for engagement across Ireland.
• Identify and develop opportunities to enhance partnerships, influence, collaboration and funding in support of Save the Children's global and national priorities.
• Coordinate and manage strategic partnership initiatives and collaborative projects, working across Save the Children, Save the Children International, country offices and external stakeholders to deliver shared objectives.
• Support the development and implementation of advocacy and influencing strategies focused on children affected by conflict, humanitarian crises and poverty.
• Monitor political, policy and funding developments in Ireland, providing strategic analysis, intelligence and advice to colleagues across the Save the Children movement.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with policymakers, government officials, NGOs and coalition partners to advance child rights and humanitarian objectives.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant experience managing relationships with government, institutional or donor stakeholders. As well as working with civil society organisations and coalitions.
• Experience working within advocacy, public affairs, policy, international development or partnership-focused roles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse audiences.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or partnerships involving multiple organisations and teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings and present complex information clearly to senior audiences.
• Knowledge of humanitarian, international development or child rights issues, particularly in relation to conflict-affected contexts.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.

Location & Ways of Working:
This role can be performed remotely on the island of Ireland, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office in Belfast (usually between 1–2 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). About the Role
 
Reporting to the Head of the examination service, the Quality Enhancement Manager will lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality enhancement processes across the full examination lifecycle.
 
This is a highly visible role where you will analyse examination data, identify trends and risks, recommend improvements, and ensure robust governance frameworks are in place. You will collaborate closely with senior colleagues to create new quality assurance processes and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
 
The role also includes line management responsibility for two Exam Managers and will involve regular engagement with senior stakeholders, including directors, committees, subject matter experts, and regulatory representatives.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality enhancement frameworks

The Elizabeth Landmark is seeking a Fundraising Campaign Manager to help shape and deliver fundraising for an ambitious cultural project in Northumberland. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in building the campaign behind a major new landscape sculpture created in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. 

The Elizabeth Landmark will be a 55-metre public artwork at Cold Law, designed by Simon Hitchens and rooted in the landscape, heritage and industrial history of the site. Works have already started on site, and the project is now moving into a more focused phase of fundraising, donor engagement and partnership development. 

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can bring strategic thinking, structure and momentum to the campaign. Working closely with the Trustees and Curator, you will help develop and deliver the fundraising strategy, build relationships with major donors and partners, and put in place the systems and stewardship needed to support a project of this scale. The role will suit someone confident operating at a senior level, comfortable working with Trustees, and motivated by the opportunity to help realise an ambitious public project.

The Role
